@Shilpi I do think Umesh's restaurant dream is still on...may be some future track. But yes...education is mere formality at GH. Everyone has to sit at GS at the end and no other career especially for boys is entertained. Nisha was allowed as Dadaji never thought she would get a job.

there is an IIT in jodhpur na??? Dadaji might allow jwala for IIT if she gets that. She will anyways stay in hostel. Aur jaipur aur jodhpur paas pass hi hai.

dadaji be first chance hi nahi diya baaki sabko. Nishu should be happy that dasaji gave her 1st chance. Sukku ko toh vo bhi nahi mila.if nishu wants 2nd chance she needs to fight for it. RL will support but nishu should initiate it.

But yeah, I've also noticed that the GF is really weird when it comes to education. Even Umesh seems to have not really done anything except work at the shop. I always thought Indians in general were all about studies, but I guess not.

As for the Dada Ji and his ways, I think part of the show was to show how times have changed from Dada Ji'e era and how elders should learn to change as well? Idk. Cause I definitely felt they were *attempting* to go that way with Umesh and his love of cooking, and then falling in love with a girl whose father was a cook, etc. I think it would've been a perfect segway into Umesh beginning to do something he enjoyed. But I digress.

Speaking in general, I'm a bit disappointed by the CVs in the way their tracks finish. My hopes are always higher than what is shown. The only thing that actually was higher than my hopes, was the Ramesh-Nisha relationship for the most part, the cousins scheming/ having fun, and the entry of Kabir's character (I really had no hopes from him LOL but he's totally proven me wrong!)

that's the reality. In most of the marwadi and jain families girls are married off after graduation. I was in a jain college some of my friends were engaged during 3rd year. Earlier in Rajasthan girls were married very young(child marriage) and ota continued in some areas even now. I think only in south India education is given importance. I have seen both north and south but compared to north in south parents are also educated so they push their children into studies. This is purely my observation.

Rema...the point is...too many conditions puts lot of pressure. Jwala has to work towards IIT and not IIT Jodhpur according to me...and if she doesn't get into IIT after her first attempt...Dadaji is sure to taunt on hwe efforts

getting into IIT is very difficult. She needs to be in the top to get into the IIT she wants. Even if she gets through sou you think dadaji will allow her if she gets it in south or east India. Delhi Mumbai toh chalo tab bhi paas hai Jaipur se. Agar Bangalore kolkata chennai mein mila toh will he allow??

Rema...Dadaji didn't have a choice but to accept for shooting as he saw the potential in Nisha. Him not agreeing even after that would have been questioning him...he probably was forced to then. If he hadnt seen it live...he wouldn't have agreed.
