I think it's more along the lines of will Fawad sign B4B or not. FK keeps talking about getting these offers from both Bwood & Pakistan but hasn't signed anything, although this movie is a front runner but I'm still skeptical lol. The statements that have come out are all over the place lol. Fawad says he hasn't signed even though he got defensive over people saying the role is similar to Vikram in KS (which it isn't), Shashank says they're writing the movie with FK x SK in mind and KS team "WILL" be back and Sonam has said FK has to like the role first but he is their first choice.
I doubt Sonam would come out saying this if he wasn't 100% a part of the project BUT you never know what could happen down the line, it'd be really awkward if FK doesn't do the film and another actor comes into the frame lol.

Well if Sonam gets offered a particular movie in the second half of the year then I'll be more than glad to see B4B pushed back to some other time next year lol #uknowwhatimean 😉

The thought of DKD ... 😭 ... It could've done so much better if they had tweaked the minor details and actually got music composers that know what they're doing lol. In hindsight they should've just released on the same day as Shamitabh, would've had more time to promote properly with the whole team.

Yup. At first it was offered to Freida and then Sonam, I wanted her to do the movie lol. I remember cause everyone was like "Ohhh ... the L'oreal girls". The rumors started post Cannes of either 12 or 13, I think.
Oh well ... Anushka is awesome so I have no complaints 😆.

[Although I get the feeling if NH10 had been offered to Sonam now she would've said yes.]

Want to know what they really think of each other? We put the duo on the hot seat

Sonam Kapoor is dressed in an effortlessly chic Vivienne Westwood dress when we meet her. The moment she spots Imran Khan, who's in a grey shirt and jeans, Sonam says, "What's that you're wearing? I suggest you iron your shirt, dude!"

So are Sonam and Imran like Simran and Jay, the characters they play in I Hate Luv Storys? She the fashionable perfectionist and he the somewhat-scruffy man about town? Not exactly, as we find out from talking to them.

But they do have chemistry in real-life, as they do in the movie. It's fresh and crackling and fun, and we spot it when they're posing together for pictures. Sonam says, "You've got a really slim waist, Imran. Is it slimmer than mine?" Imran sweetly assures her that it's not. (For the record, we find out that Imran has a 29-inch waist. We promised not to reveal Sonam's number).

In real-life, Imran's the one who likes order and perfection and Sonam prefers things to be odd and off...

IMRAN ON SONAM
When was the first time you met Sonam in real-life and what did you think of her?
We first met at the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na premiere but I have absolutely no memory of that meeting! I was so spaced out and so nervous that day. We met again at the Singapore Grand Prix, where we spent time together and became quite pally.

What was the first day on the sets like? What's Sonam like to work with?
Very chilled out. We'd already done our readings and rehearsals so there was an even greater comfort level. Generally I'm the one who has to push for these things with the director and other actors. I'll be going, 'I'll give you the dates, let's please have rehearsals.' But here Punit and Sonam were so keen on it. So I was really happy about that.

What's the quality you admire most in Sonam?
Her consistency. Anyone can give a good take by fluke. But when you're doing the same scene take after take from different angles, with different cameras, you've got to be really good to keep it consistent. And Sonam is really good.

What's the quality you don't like about her?
It's very hard to ruffle her. Through the movie I had to do things to irritate her, that's my character's job, but she was unruffled! My shoelaces are untied throughout the movie and that really annoyed her. In real-life that would annoy me too, but I was in character so it didn't bother me so much!

What's the quirkiest thing Sonam does?
She eats apples with peanut butter. I think that's seriously weird. I mean, do you know anyone who does that?

Is she good GF material?
(Thinks for a while then says with a poker face) No, she has very expensive tastes!

SONAM ON IMRAN
When was the first time you met Imran in real-life and what did you think of him?
That was when I gatecrashed the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na premiere. I had the biggest crush on him and that was the only way to meet him! Then at the premiere I found out that he had a girlfriend. And I don't poach on someone else's territory! But I still thought that he was amazing. Later, Imran, his girlfriend Avantika, and I hung out together at the Singapore races where he was always making fun of me. And I used to think that he didn't like me. But then Avantika told me that he joked around because he liked me. Otherwise, he is quite reserved.

What was the first day on the sets like? How is Imran like to work with?
It was cool. He's very calm and relaxed. Basically, he has this amazing vibe about him that relaxes everyone else too. So I had a great time.

Was there competition between you on the sets? Any fights?
No competition or fights, we're friends. Though both Imran and Puneet (Malhotra, the director) did play a lot of pranks on me.

What kind of pranks?
Completely retarded pranks! You know the one where they take a coin whose edges have been blackened by a pencil and run it over your face? They did that with me. They got that idea from an episode of Friends, the one episode that I hadn't seen!

Between the two of you who's more fussy about clothes and looks?
I love fashion, though I do think it's more about being yourself than blindly following trends. Imran just lives in his jeans.

What's the quality you admire and respect the most in Imran?
His humility.

What's the quality you dislike about him?
Honestly, I can't think of anything I dislike about him.

Do you think Imran is a good boyfriend in real life?
He's a great boyfriend in real life! The kind of guy you can take home to meet your mum. Avantika is a very lucky girl.
