Kumkum Bhagya's Bulbul aka Mrunal Thakur: It was difficult and scary shooting the drowning sequence

We recently told you about the drama waiting to happen at Bulbul and Purab's roka - well here's what the actor has to say about this interesting sequence

Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) is throwing a grand party for Bulbul (Mrunal Thakur) and Purab's (Arjit Taneja) roka ceremony in Kumkum Bhagya. Well during the festivities, Bulbul gets a message from Purab to meet her near the pool. When she gets there, someone pushes her into the pool knowing well that she is extremely scared of water and doesn't know how to swim.

When Pragya (Sriti Jha) sees her little sister in trouble and comes running to help her. In spite of not knowing how to swim, Pragya takes a float and jumps into the water. But even before she is able to rescue Bulbul, she starts drowning too. When Abhi realises that both the sisters are missing from the party, he goes in search for them and finds them fighting for their lives in the pool. He immediately jumps in to save the sisters.

BollywoodLife caught up with Mrunal Thakur, to find out how was it shooting for this crucial sequence. She said, "Frankly, the pool is only 5 feet deep. But since I do not know how to swim, it is a little scary. We've been shooting for this sequence for the past two days and it's exhausting but fun. It was difficult and scary shooting the sequence, but we had a lot of fun."

Mrunal has been going on late night shifts to shoot for the drowning sequence, which will go on air sometime on Monday and Tuesday. Stay tuned to this space to read more news and gossip on telly town.
