Now stop thinking all that. Think of a reply quickly. I tried to contact my brain. Aap jis se sampark karna chahte hain wo is samay uplabdh nahi hain. Krupya thode samay baad sampark karne ki prayaas karein. My brain is unavailable???

"Haan!?" that is all I could manage in a confused state of mind rather out of state of mind.

"Interest? Huh! Mai to bas tumhe scores de rahi thi. Isliye janna chahti thi ke tum kya kar sakte ho. Agar mai impress hui to samjho tum challenge jeet gaye warna you are out of the league" I shrugged trying to be as cool as possible. Cool or fool??? My conscience mocked at me.

"Bahana achha hai. Par theek hai. Agar challenge ki hi bath hai to mai koi kasar nahi chodna chahta. Waise bhi mujhe jeetne ki adat hai"

"Itni overconfidence? Haar jaaoge"

"Dekhte hain"

"Theek hai to phir batao ke kya kar sakte ho"

"Mai..." he started

A devilish thought came up. I can't let him win this challenge. Let's make it difficult for him "Ek minute...aise nahi...gaake batao"

"Kya?"

"Haan gaake batao"

"Are you sure?"

"Of course! Agar nai ho sakta to bol do ke challenge haar gaye" I smirked...Yeyyy! I am winning the smirking challenge dude!

Wait! What did I see? He smirked in reply!? What is he upto?

"Raahon mein tumko jo dhoop sataye
Chaaon bicha denge hum"

Eh! He did it. Ishita he is winning. Do something.

A sharp ray of sunlight hit me giving me a cue.

"Dhoop" I said pointing to the sun meaning dhoop was actually sataying me. "Chaanv??" I said shaking my thumb meaning there was no chaanv.

Kehna asaan hai Mr. Ab karke dikaho I raised my eyebrows. Let me see what he does now.

He paused for a moment, showed me his right index finger asking me to wait, looked for something in his pockets and then got out his sunglasses and made me wear them.

"Dhoop" he imitated my action "Chaanv" he pointed to the sunglasses.

Hmmm...I am impressed. Kafi smart hai. Chalo isi baat pe Plus 1

I did a thumbs up. He smiled his killer smile. Ishita stop drooling.

We reached a bench under the shade of a huge banyan tree. I sat on the bench, removed the sunglasses and signaled him to continue.

He stood behind me and covered my eyes with his palm

"Andhere daraye"

He left my eyes and got his phone in front of me. The camera was on in selfie mode. I could see my reflection in it. I was trying to comprehend what he meant when he sang the next line

"To jaa kar falak pe
Chand sajaa denge hum"
he pointed towards my reflection when he said Chand. He meant I am Chand? Was it a compliment? Or was he flirting? Whatever it was, it felt good.

I stared my reflection in his phone, my otherwise fair complexion had turned crimson. Was I blushing? No! It must be the heat...Isn't it???

Next moment I found him sitting on the other end of the bench.

He frowned. Why? What happened? I wanted to ask. But before I could say something he sang

"Chhaye udaasi lateefe sunakar

Tujhko hasa denge hum"

He curved my lips with his fingers into a smile while singing the second line.

I laughed at his antics. He laughed too. He is really crazy.

"Hanste hansaate yunhi gungunaate

Chal denge chaar kadam"

He stood up and extended his hand towards me. Was he asking for a dance??? I don't know. I opened my mouth to ask when he kept his palm on my mouth

He forcefully took my hands in his

He placed my left hand on his shoulder and held the right in his left hand, placing his right hand on my shoulder

We danced to the song. There was no need for music. His voice was as soothing as music.

He stopped singing, twirled me around and I crashed into his chest. My hands around his neck, his on my waist. I raised my head. Eyes met, Heartbeats raced, Breaths quickened, lips trembled.

I can feel his heartbeat against my chest. I can feel his warm breath on my face. I can see his eyes travelling from my eyes to??? My lips??? Yes! They stopped there.

Oh God! My heart is beating at a rate of 15 times per second. Fix an appointment with a Cardiologist. My breath? It has probably stopped. Fix an appointment with Otolaryngologist. God! I can't take it anymore.

What am I supposed to do now? I have never felt this before. Of course I did read a lot about this in my favorite romantic novels. Novels! Right now I am feeling like the female protagonist of a romantic novel who is about to be kissed by her prince charming.

Yes! He is my prince charming and I am ready for the kiss. I closed my eyes in anticipation.

I felt him coming closer, closer and closer until I felt his warm breath at the nape of my neck and his lips on my earlobe???

Wasn't it supposed to be on my lips????

"Kisi ajnabi ko kiss karna achhi baat nahi hai"

Did he just say that!?
