She even made her debut in a women centric film (Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat) .So it's obviously and a fact why Rani is known as one of the best actresses. Nothing happens without a reason.. Careergraphs show thankfully everything. 😉

Its so strange that up until i saw this post , i also thought Aishwarya is actually a horrible actress & Rani undoubtedly leaves Aish miles behind when it comes to acting , but this list & comparison got me saying , hang on, there are only 4 memorable roles of Aish & Rani has a lot , but the irony here is, i wasnt able to recall only one of the names of the 4 iconic characters portrayed by Aish (Mansi from Taal) but i was able to recall only one of the names of many iconic characters portrayed by Rani which is the recent Shivani from Mardaani..😳 .. granted , this kind of recollection is subjective & changes from person to person depending on his or her own likes but at an individual level , i couldn't help but marvel the fact that Aish may have done only handful of iconic memorable roles but they all happened to be a bigger , larger than life roles that cemented Aish's status .. there is a reason why Aish is the biggest superstar here.. ⭐️

Now that the effect of this realization is over , i ll still maintain that Rani is a far better actress than Aish ,😆 Aish still sucks at comedy & when n if she manages to pull off comedy convincingly , i ll finally give some credit to her "acting talent".. 😆

Overall , its Aishwarya for me.. 😊

That depends on what sort of 'better' you're talking about.

Acting- It's Rani. I am not one of those people who thinks that Ash is a bad actress. She isn't.Tune into CB, Raincoat, HDDCS, Taal, Guzaarish, JA & you'll see that she's actually a good actress, One who takes her work extremely seriously.

But, Ash isn't a honed actress. By which I mean that she needs a lot of molly-coddling during filming. For her director is her guru & that's something that she herself has admitted ,how she looks to her director "as a mentor & teacher."

Rani, is the more honed actress. She has taken time to delve into her craft, perfected her acting when compared to Ash & that shows. Which is why most people here consider her to be the better actress.

Then again- When it comes to appeal, brand-value & popularity there is no-one , esp not an actress, to beat Ash. She's an International Icon on her way to become a legend, one of the most graceful dancers & has the sort of appeal globally that not even India's most famous legend ,her father-in-law, Mr Amitabh Bachchan, has managed to amass.

So, obviously, Ash wins this HANDS-DOWN.

P.S. Ash is on her way to become the female version of AB Sr. The sort of performer who will re-invent herself as age catches on. Wait & watch.
