I've read this several times in the morning and after doing some revision I felt that this needed another read just because it was that awesome. Amna you do know that you are an articulate & prolific writer, it's really hard to point out any flaws as this OS didn't have any, it was that perfect. There are loads of fictions out their full of great writing that don't have very good story. And yet again you manage to write something so unique and meaningful. No matter how many times I rant about how crap the show has gone, I know for a fact that they will never be able to show us something like this. Because they just can't. They unfortunately don't have Amna's imagination which, is a shame really.

Despite this OS being short, you were able to capture every little emotion. Ahh darling how can you be so perfect in your writing skills? It just keeps me wanting too read more and more. It's as though your writing is addicting.
I think the best stories always end up being about the people rather than the event, which is to say character-driven. And this OS was totally character-driven.

The emotions of guiltiness to love was portrayed beautifully, the way Ishita took care of Raman despite being angry was very subtle. I could imagine every little detail you described.

"You corrupted me." He said
"We corrupted each other." She said. --- I just love these dialogues, so simple yet so touching.

She softened the touch on his cheek and asked, "does it hurt too much?"
In response, he wiped another tear and replied holding the tear on his fore finger, "this does."--- This converstation was so sincere and perfectly written. Nothing OTT but, very subtle.

You have flaws and so do I. In our might to hide our own, we begin to scratch one another's. Hurting and bruising other without us knowing it. And just when we stand bare of our souls in front of each other, do we realize what harm we had brought to our own selves, because you are now me and I am you. Only when I see my soul's reflection in yours do I realize, we are one.

A flaw in us can either make us or break us. We have been here before and we both know it. Until now I was looking for your flaws to point a finger at you, if only I knew you were the other half of me and if I punish you, I punish my self.

@Red- I did say in my reply back to you on "WBIL" that you reminded me of another author other than JG, and it was in fact Jane Austen (my classic favourite author). These two extracts from the OS completely reminded me of her writing style, the way you described and the use of words were absolutely amazing. So far no author has been able to write anything at Jane Austen's level and darling you have managed to do so. Kudos to you, seriously I cannot commend you enough.

Doubt is a question mark; faith is an exclamation point. The most compelling, believable, realistic stories (yours) have included them both. I just love love this OS, I seriously would love to either read a prequel or a sequel to this because I sincerely think it needs one.

Finally, thank you sooo much for enlightening us with your writing and giving us something so perfect to read.

P.S. I seriously don't know why I didn't read your fiction before 😒 Oh it was because I usually didn't like reading FF's, as I just couldn't find myself connecting to the characters or that they were too cliched. But all thanks to "Mirrors" (I know I still need to review 🤔 APOLOGIES) it changed my mind.

Adios until next time...

xoxo

Samia, your comments made my day. Not because it was flattering but also because somebody else also could see the meaning behind these words. A confession, the first set of dialogue does not belong to me but I know these were apt for the situation.

Wait. Did I read Jane Austin?! She is the epitome of classic romance hon and I am nowhere near her but I think I'd like to believe you because it's such a huge compliment!

Thank you!

This one shot was written when roman had called her to meet him at the park where she was eventually kidnapped and he fought with the goons, this whole idea was so bogus that I don't even remember what had happened later so apologies hon if I can't fulfill tour request😳

Now awaiting your reviews on mirrors 😃
