Paru and I were discussing it the other day and we have the following opinions: good options and both can be true 😆

- the CVs began writing a confused and insecure kid, needed a "saas" in the show when they realized that Suraj was not going to suffice and Toshi was majorly nice (a hypocrite) and thus had to make do with this kid.

- the kid's expressions were so confusing that the CVs in turn became confused about WHERE this character was heading. (I chose the vice versa - the kid is confused as to what character he supposedly is)

They have of course made some serious blunders as far as the character goes - from the accident track itself. No kid from divorced parents is psychotic or has this level of manipulation going on in his head. Two things abhorred me - he could land HIMSELF into surgery to bring down his step mother and fulfill his mother's ambitions and the fact that he could himself just play mind games. It would have been A LITTLE ACCEPTABLE if he showed even a little remorse, but I not seen any guilt for any of the number of crimes he's committed. That is what makes it even harder to digest.

@bold those two facts have been bothering me...for a 12 year old to hatch mature mind games independently .. And the no remorse part... Was disturbing for me.. II couldn't force myself to empathize with him any... 🤢

Lol. I was surprised to see loads of people being really happy about the pain she's going through.
Some people take hating ishita/ DT a bit too seriously.. Their passion of hatred feels funny .. Sort of like saas-bahu style 😆
Really? She's a good person, nahi? With her heart at the right place. She may be a lot of things - stupid of the highest order including - but she's been a good mother throughout. The only thing consistent so far IMO. So she should get flake for being whatever - but not a mother. And I guess it hit her where it hurt. DT's expressions were nice - heart broken with a touch of serenity.
Reminded me of the scene when she broke down in front of raman after being rejected by the adoption and Raman's taunt .. Very raw.. DT was brilliant

Meh. About Raman's constant harp - I don't know - it's foreboding, I suppose. Ishita just says thank you when he does something - for helping Amma after the accident, for keeping her busy during the license track, for the Chitti track. Raman had been the more 'keeps his emotions to himself" guy in the first half of the show - hid behind his hard demeanor, so I suppose, he's probably compensating 🤣 I do think he should tone it down a little - we all know the things she's done - no need to reiterate it in every episode. It kinda gives me a bad feeling that all those words we'll revisit when soon he'll be struggling to choose between son and wife.

Although, it could be to sorta juxtapose the two scenes - being called the writer of all good things in his life and then being called the wicked witch who stole the happiness of a family. Nice observation 😳

If they don't end this crap ASAP, well...

Ha ha ..

Beautiful collage and analysis Gan. I seriously felt for Ishita today too so no flak from me. Yes she is OTT with her mahaanta and goodness but seriously she doesn't deserve this type of punishment for that. To hear from her husband or her in-laws that she needs to tone it down is both okay and necessary but to hear those vicious words from a child is something entirely different. I do wish she had become smarter after seeing the complete 180 degree turn in Adi's behavior towards her, but going by the precap and spoilers I don't see it happening. Going off to bed now, catch you later. Some serious writing interspersed with nonsensical drama is making these episodes slightly bearable otherwise I was about to quit after that horrific AsMi dance (if it can be classified as such lol).

Yaar same reaction was mine when i saw adi in yesterday's episode...bloody if he is really depressed for the situations around him then y the hell is he playing cheap games with every one around there...12 yr kid cant understand the meaning of divorce he cant understand who is right and who is wrong but he knows to play cheap games to throw his step mom out of the house...so sad yaar that cvs are showing a 12 yr kid playing mind games that too evil games...
coming to Raman's hope of being called as papa by raman...i am damn sure that one day ishu will make adi to call raman as papa...in true sense ishu will be mother of his kids shagun have just gave them birth but ishu will make him father...

even i felt bad for ishu...though she did her JM act was totally disgusting but she dont deserve this treatment from kid whom she feels as her own...

I have tons to say about Adi, puttar and the missus but time constraints prevent me from doing so. After I read your post I watched today's episode and my heart broke for the missus and puttar, pious souls living in an unpious world,
I really wanted the writers to explore Ishita's struggle with infertility and Raman's interaction with her during the said struggle. I hope the makers do full justice to this emotion of Ishita's or I would rather have them leave it alone if they are going to pull the same crap as they did with the Mani track. Anywho I take 2 hours break on Saturday so I will come and update this post with my 2 cents even if it's not needed. 🤣

Missus' agony made me tear up or may be it was Neurology or NeNe's FF, either way I type this with moist eyes and a pint of ice cream in my hand.

*Way too many feels*

Hey Gan,
loved the pics collages, I felt the episode was well balanced and I'm there with u supporting and feeling bad for Ishu. I hve watched the episodes 3 times, nd every time afterrr watching the last 5-6 min, and the precap, I had tearrs in my eyes, I really felt very bad after seeing her cry in the precap, whtever she said was very, for the world she will always be the step mom, that's the tag she will carry forever...hope Adi soon comes to know that whom he is calling wicked witch is in fact so much much better than his mom, and I really would like a scene where Adi says this in front of the whole world, acknowledging his step mom shld have been his mom, that will be the greatest gift to Ishu.

OK enough said, I also loved Ishu's reply to Mihika...

waiting to see where this will lead nd the drama that is to follow, Adi hospitalistion, Puttar bowing down in front of lambu

CVs have really brought out a nayi soch which is actually cringe worthy and makes me flinch from inside. Adi making plots to demean and hurt Ishita, to make her cry and also assuring Shagun that he would make Ishita go from the family has made him a criminal mind who has started traits of a psychopath.
His evil smile seeing Ishita cry has made him a sadist. His pretending to be good and nice to all including Ishita before everyone and then doing the opposite in private has made him a fraud.
His blind belief and becoming a puppet in his mother's hands has made him a fool.

So there is very little in him to be called a kid anymore.

CVs have totally butchered a kid's innocence. I really wish they tone this down.

Another perception which I know from experience is Adi's bonding with Shagun. Shagun is an insult to motherhood and in fact to womanhood also. She uses and manipulates her son's blind love for her.
For Adi, his mother is the ultimate truth. Whatever she says, be it good or bad, is the truth for him. Actually, thats every child's trait. A child understands and knows the rest of the world through his mother.
Here Adi too never judges or tries to analyze what his mother does. Whatever she says is right for him and the rest of the world which causes distress to his mother is evil and wicked.

Once he comes out of the little bubble that his mother weaves around him, he will be able to see the goodness around. I really wish CVs use Shagun being away and steer the story towards that direction rather than adding more evilness into the child. Atleast give the child to rise from the ruins.

Coming to Ishita's tears, yes it was indeed cruel of Mihika and Adi. Whatever lectures, mahaanta she does, she didnt deserve to get this. Mihika is like out of focus for me. I dont even understand her anymore. and Adi, he forgets that he is still a kid most of the times, I guess.

Raman-Ishita scene were really heart touching. Raman hoping that Adi will call him papa was really emotional moment. Awesomely played by KP...and as his comforting wife DT was perfect.

lovely analysis i totally agree with u...

Hey same feelings from my side!! First i would like to confess that i only post my comments in your thread cz i feel this is the only thread where logical and practical discussions happen and people's opinions are not skewed towards single character and rather have opinions with wide angles.. So kudos for that!! I have read many post directed to one particular character and i feel pitty for such posts cz i believe when people react its very situational and one should not be judgememtal about the actions and reactions cz everyone in the family are gud hearted people and they do not posses any evil intentions except for the villians in the show!!
My heart also went out to ishita. She is a rare and pure soul. She is a best mother one can ever have. She is more a mother than a wife!! She might have failed as wife but never as mother!! And she certainly does not deserve this from adi!! I agree she goes overboard with her gudness but one certainly does not deserve this for being good to people!! I hope this ends soon and she emerges as a true mother from this!!
Coming to ishra scene i liked the fact that he is vocal and reiterates her importance in his life, she should also start being vocal about what he means to her!! My pov for this is may be he knows that her goodness can force her to take certain extreme steps and she may go into guilt mode as him so he wants to restrain her from taking such far fetched decisions. She needs to be confident about her position in his life cz its complicated with the kids around and he also knows about her selflessness!! Just my pov may not be right!!
And sorry for the long post 😕

Hope he isn't to disappointed when Adi wrong doings come to light. Mihika was harsh and Ishita again didn't deserve it. Would love to see Raman's reaction if she ever told him about both ADI and MIHIKA.

Thank you!
I ve myself complained about Ishita's Mahanta several times.. But that doesn't take way the fact that this wonan is all mother...and for her to be again rejected by someone, that too Raman's son , so harshly with the evil step mother tag.. Just heartbreaking .
Yes Raman's heart is going to break really badly when the truth of Adi comes out( I hope soon if not sooner) ..
