While I agree that faking a marriage is not a good thing, I also believe Ragini doesn't owe Neil any explanations. When the truth does come out, I don't see why she would have to justify anything to him.

Ofcourse she does not owe him an explanation..
but if that is the reason for her driving him to a decision about spending his life with someone, she will atleast owe him the truth.. but that's just my opinion..

Yes she does owe him an explanation...just like she keeps asking him whats his rishta with nivi..calling it najayaz 😆he could be in a live in with her..why does she judge him 😳
Or maybe Ragini and Nachiket could give it another shot and check to see if living in works for them 😆
If I'm right in supposing that Ekta means this to be a mature love story with emphasis on the main leads being parents first and partners second, then this facade of a non-existent marriage is so uncalled for.
It reminds me of some of the M&B romances I've read when I was younger where the characters in their 2os pretend in a similar manner to be dating/engaged/married just to make the other person jealous. Even in my youth, I found that so childish.
With a 40-something couple, it's plainly ridiculous!
If a story has to be based on such a flimsy premise, then it may not work.
Like I read in some post a few days back, it's ludicrous to expect the audiences to believe that someone as smart as Neil (as he is being projected) should fall for such a falsehood. Body language is a dead giveaway for one thing.
My grouse against the writers is that they have undermined the whole story by taking this nonsensical path to nowhere and still expect the audience to willingly suspend disbelief .
