Chapter 10
After Pari's birthday party,Rantara headed home. Sharmayi si Antara sat beside Raghu as he drove. He was stealing glances of her as she sat quietly lost in the thoughts of what happened in pari's bedroom an hour ago. Raghu startled her by grabbing her hand,shyly glancing at him she pulled her hand back. Raghu grabbed it again as Antara sucked in her breath. He kept her hand interlaced with his as he controlled the steering wheel with one hand. With a speeding heart beat Antara sat there with her hand in Raghu's grip. Soon they arrived at Naik residence. Parking the car,Raghu brought her clumpsy hand to his lips,Antara squeezed her eyes shut as goose flesh covered her body. She shot her eyes open when Raghu pulled her to him. Red with embarrassment she broke free and within seconds she was out of the car! "Antara! Raghu howled from behind while getting out of the car. Lifting her saree a little bit up from her ankle she ran inside the house. With a smirk,Raghu ran his fingers through his hair and headed inside the house. Both were falling for each other badly but maintained their silence. In the room Antara grabbed her nightwear and headed towards the washroom. Raghu made his sofa bed as Antara came out in pyjamas. "Ek black coffee milegi please". Raghu asked. "Abhi laati Hun". Antara said while putting her saree in the closet. Antara came down in the kitchen. Meanwhile Raghu changed into his track and vest,laying down on his sofa bed he closed his tired eyelids. He was asleep when Antara came back with his coffee. "Oh God He's sleeping!". Thought Antara. "Should I wake him up or not?" Antara was figuring out what to do. Gathering her strength she finally managed to speak. "Su..sunye!"."coffee le aai Hun may". Hearing her soft music like voice,Raghu opened his eyes. Finding a mesmerizing beauty standing in front of his eyes,a smile crept over his lips. Again embarrassed by his killer smile,Antara looked down. Quite aware of her shyness Raghu sat up. "Laaiye". He said. While handing him the cup their gaze met once again. Searching for answers in each other's eyes they were completely lost. Their hands collided and the cup landed on the sofa bed spilling the coffee all over! Raghu stood up with a jerk! "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" Antara apologized. "It's okay,galti meri hai,may tumarey khoobsurat aankho me kho chuka tha". Raghu said. His words made her cheeks to change shades. "May Saaf kardeti Hun,aap bed par soh jaayo". Said Antara. Raghu's eyes widened. "You mean,may bed par,tumarey saath...matlab ki hum dono ek saath.." He asked unbelievingly. "Ji,I don't mind,may adjust karsakti Hun. Replied Antara while cleaning the sofa bed. Raghu stood there not knowing what to do. "Arey aap kiya Sochney Lagey? Soh jaaiye na!" Raghu noded and slide in under the duvet covers. Finishing the clean up,Antara neared the bed. In the dim light she could see him sleeping with his arm across his eyes. With a pounding heart she got in the bed. Without making a sound she laid her head on the pillow,and laid there quietly not worrying about covering herself with the blanket. Glancing at him she remembered the kiss they shared some hours ago,a smile crept on her lips,soon she was fast asleep. Few minutes later Raghu twitched his head to see his sleeping beauty. He smiled seeing her beautiful glowing beauty. He slowly pulled the duvet covers and covered her properly. Roaming his eyes on her face Raghu fell asleep. In the middle of the night Antara woke up at the sound of thunder rolling outside. She was not used to thunderstorms. Squeezing her eyes shut she searched for Raghu's hand as another thunder rolled. She just needed to hold his hand,scared and trembling her hand roamed his chest,his tummy,but his hands were nowhere to be found. Soon it was pouring hard outside. Lightening struck again,panic stricken Antara reached for Raghu and laid her head on his chest. Not bothered by the thunder Raghu was snoring softly. Antara buried herself more in to his chest and slid her arms around his belly. Raghu felt it and shot his eyes open. Slowly moving his hand from his eyes he twitched his head a little bit to find his sleeping beauty hugging him tightly with her eyes squeezed shut. Thunder rolled again,Raghu knew why Antara was in his arms. Antara sucked in her breath when Raghu wrapped his powerful arm around her back. "Antara". Raghu called softly. "Ji". Trembling Antara replied. "Kiya huwa?" He asked. "Woh..woh bijli...Antara stammered on his chest. "Are you okay now?". He asked. "Abh theek Hun may." Whispered Antara. Pressing her on his chest,he kissed the crown of her head. Feeling safe,secured and protected,Antara relaxed. "Soh jaao,may Hun yaha kuch nai hoga tumey." Raghu assured her. Feeling loved,like a baby Antara slept on his chest peacefully. Violent beating of his heart rocked her to sleep. A smile played upon his lips as Raghu also drifted off.
Next morning Raghu woke up at the sound of light showers outside. Antara was fast asleep on his chest. Raghu lowered his head and kissed the crown of her head. Without making any sound he untangled himself from her arms and legs that was all over him. Tucking her nicely he got up. Grabbing his towel he hurried towards the washroom. When he came out Antara was still sleeping. Raghu looked at the clock,he was getting late for office. Quickly getting dressed and grabbing his stuffs he planted a feather like gentle kiss on Antara's forehead he rushed downstairs. Mrs naik was up and in the kitchen when she noticed Raghu heading out. "Beta tu fir office jaa raha hai?". "Mayney kaha tha ki chutti lelo aur apney biwi ko lekar kahi ghoom aao,abhi abhi tum dono ki Shaadi huwi and you need to spend time with each other." Mrs naik told Raghu. "Ji mom Lekin aaj important meeting hai out of city and I have to attend it,kal se I'm on leave and I promise may kal se Antara ke saath time spend karunga." Raghu said. " theek hai breakfast karkey jaao." Mom said. "I'll have it in the office mom." Replied Raghu and headed out. It was still pouring hard outside and Antara was comfortably sleeping on her bed. The wind blew and her bedroom windows flung open! Antara woke up with a jerk. Rubbing her eyes she sat up on the bed. Her eyes widened when she found the bed empty. "Ye office Chala Gaya kiya?" "Mujhey uthaya bhi nai." Said Antara worriedly. "Mujhey bataya bhi nai,shayad washroom me hongey." Thought Antara. Getting out of the bed she hurried towards the washroom. "Sunye!" "Aap andar ho kiya?" Called Antara. She wasn't getting any response from inside so she turned the knob and opened the door. Finding the washroom empty she ran downstairs. "Arey sambhalke beta!" "Gir jaaogi!" Mom said from the hall when she saw Antara running down the stairs. "Momma,yeh dikhayee nai de rahe,kahi Gaya hai kiya?" Asked Antara. Mrs naik smiled gladly as she saw Antara's care and concerned for Raghu. "Woh office Gaya hai beta." "Urgent meeting hai joh he has to attend it." "Shaam tak aajayega tum pareshaan mat ho." Mrs naik assured her. "Ji." Antara said sadly and headed back to her room. She had already started to miss Raghu. With a fallen face and saddened expression she made the bed. Arranging the pillows nicely she found his chain on the bed,automatically a beautiful smile crept on her lips. Picking it up she brought it to her chest. Drowning in the thoughts of last nights kiss she brought his chain to her lips. She sat there on the bed with his chain to her lips,lost in the thought. Her trance broke when the window closed and opened again from the gusty wind. Her faced turned red from embarrassment when she realized what she just did with his chain. Shyly putting it away she closed the window and with a flushed face she grabbed her things and rushed towards the washroom. In half an hour she was out wrapped in a towel. Drying her hair,her eyes fell on Raghu's picture on the nightstand beside her bed. Her face turned red with embarrassment, with a smile shyly playing on her lips she turned around. "Besharam! Photo me se bhi mujhey ghoorta hai!" Said Antara as she covered her face with her hands. Collecting her clothings she ran towards the washroom and got ready. Outside the storm wasn't ceasing at all. Antara came down for breakfast then she thought to call and see if Raghu had his breakfast or not. She dialled his number. Raghu's phone was twitched off as he was busy in a meeting. Discouraged,Antara sat down to eat. "Antara beta I'll be in my room if you need me." Mrs naik told Antara as she headed towards her room. "Ji mom". Replied Antara. She played with her food,she was missing Raghu badly. "Pata nai kuch khaya bhi hoga ya nai." Thought Antara. Tears filled her eyes,pushing the plate away she ran upstairs to her room. Ramu kaka called behind her when he saw her untouched food on the plate. But Antara was long gone. Closing the door behind her she fell on the bed and sobbed. She tried his phone again but still she didn't get any response from Raghu. So she called Ruksana. "Han Bol Antara,how are you? Kayse yaad kiya?". Asked ruksana. "May theek Hun,woh inka phone nai lag raha, kaha hai woh?" Asked Antara worriedly. "He's in a meeting Antara, ek minute I'll have your call transfered. Ruksana said and Antara's face lit up a little bit. "Antara" her name on his lips made her heart to flutter. Controlling her feelings and emotions she gathered her strength to speak. "Ji aapney breakfast kiya?" Asked Antara. "Time nai Mila mujhey, tum theek ho? Asked Raghu. "Kiya? It's almost lunch time aur aapney subha se kuch khaya hi nai." May theek Hun aap kuch khaa lijiye please." Insisted Antara. Raghu felt happy seeing her care and concern for him. "As soon as I get time I'll eat". Promised Raghu. "Sunye! "Aap ghar Jaldi aajaao,mausam kharaab hai,baarish tham nai rahi,mujhey ghabrahat ho rahi hai. Antara said as tears formed in her eyes. "May pending kaam finish karkey jaldhi wapas aatah Hun,tu ghabra mat na,mom ke paas chali jaa I'll be home soon." "Wayse tu mujhey miss kar rahi hai?" Asked Raghu. His words made her to skip beats. Shyly she covered her face with one hand. "Bol na Antara are you missing me?" Asked Raghu while excusing himself from the meeting for five mins and coming out of the office. "Oye!" Kaha kho gayee? "Bol na?" His deep sultry voice made her heart beat to speed up. Gulping her saliva and squeezing her eyes shut she spoke " ji...miss kar rahi thi may aapko...I'm missing you!" Raghu stilled at her words. Antara removed her hand from her flushed face,her eyes fell on Raghu's chain, picking it up once again she pressed it to her chest. "I miss you too!" His words made her heart to leap in excitement. His next act made her to bury her face in the pillow! Raghu kissed her on the phone! Blushing Antara buried her reddened face in the pillow and stayed there,smiling and drowning in his thoughts. Raghu sighed, with a smile on his lips he switched off his phone and went inside the office. The meeting resumed and once again he got busy. Antara fell asleep while thinking about Raghu. Outside the trees swayed in the gusty wind. The downpour continued. Antara slept all evening. She woke up when she heard a knock on the door. Rubbing her eyes she glanced at the clock on the nightstand. "Gosh!" It's 5pm aur may sohti rah gayee?" She quickly got up and hurried towards the door. Opening the door she found Ramu kaka standing by the door. "Ji kaka,kuch kaam tha?" Asked Antara. "Nai beta,bade Saab aur maalkin bahaar gay huwe hai aaney me der hojaay shayad,may bhi ghar jaa raha Hun". Ramu told Antara. "Ji kaka,aap jaao". Said Antara. Ramu kaka left. "It's 5 aur ye abhi tak ghar nai aay?" Aur phone bhi nai kiya mujhey."Thought Antara worriedly. She once again tried his phone but it was switched off. "Phone kiyu nai utha rahe?"Putting the cell phone away she went to the glass window and slide the curtains to get a glimpse outside. The wind has ceased but the rain didn't. It was slowly getting dark. "Hey Bhagwan! Andhera hone se pahlay ye ghar aajay". Antara prayed in her heart. After freshening up she was digging in her closet as what to wear. She looked down at her feet when a saree fell and landed on her feet. A smile appeared on her lips. She picked it up and pressed it to her chest. It was the saree that Raghu bought her on the day of pari's birthday. The scene from the fitting room flashed before her eyes. She blushed hard. She felt like wearing that tonight. She started to imagine herself in Raghu's arms,in that saree. Lost in his thoughts,she wrapped the saree around her. Finally done,she looked in the mirror,she lowered her gaze in embarrassment when she thought about Raghu's reaction after seeing her in this saree. "Pata nai kiya kahega mujhey ayse dekh kar?" Antara thought. After finishing up she came out in the balcony to watch the rain. She stretched out her hand to feel the rain as it poured down. The cold droplets tickled her skin. She felt like drenching in the rain. She giggled and hurried down and in no time she was out in the lawn,drenching in the rain with her arms spread wide,as she went in circles. She felt peaceful and soothed as rain water soaked her from head to toe. Forgetting about everything she hopped in the puddles,lifting her wet saree from her ankle she danced and danced. It was dark but the lamp posts in the lawn was giving her light. Happily she danced and danced. All the clouds crawled as the raindrops fell,gentle breeze blew her long wet hair,high and low. "Kaha ho tum?"Ajaao na please,may kab se intazar kar rahi Hun." She said while looking towards the entrance. "May tadap rahi Hun aapko dekhney ke liye..."My arms wants to hold you close,kiss the raindrops off your nose." "All my eyes wish to see just the rain and you and me." Antara said as she clung to a nearby tree. She giggled when the wind teased her hair. Running in the lawn once again she jumped on the puddles and giggled like a child. She stopped when a light reflected on her face and she quickly looked at the gate. Raghu's car was parked at the gates,the lights went off and he stepped out in the rain. Antara's eyes widened. How she longed to see him since morning. Finally the wait was over and her husband was home. Tears rolled down her cheeks along with the rain water. Raghu froze at the beautiful sight in front of his eyes. Her saree was clinging to her milky skin,her lingeries were quite revealing. Raghu's killer gaze raked her from top to bottom. He neared her with gentle steps. Antara's arms came around her chest and hugged it tightly. Every step he took towards her were giving her nervous excitement in her belly and her knees were going weak. She looked mesmerizing and charming to him. Her wet brown hair was playing on her shoulders. She was his passion,his desire. He stopped right in front of her trembling figure. Their gaze met,it was such a magical time like sunset on the ocean they were caught in its spell. Words were not needed here,their eyes and hearts communicated in the language of love. "You look more beautiful like this,wet in the rain." Raghu whispered as his hands rested on her slender hips. Shy at his compliment Antara lowered her gaze. Raghu squeezed her hips,sucking in her breath she squeezed her eyes shut. The rain was soaking them wet. Raghu pulled her Pettit figure on to him,her eyes shot open as she collided with his iron like chest. Antara grasped his wet shirt as Raghu tilted her blushing face,deeply they gazed into each other's eyes. "I..I missed you." Whispered Antara as tears rolled down her cheeks. Filled with so much love and compassion Raghu wiped her tears mixed with rain. "Phone kiyu nai utha rahe thay aap?" Ek phone toh karsaktey na?" "Aap ko pata hai may kitna ghabra gayee thi?" Bilkul akela mahsoos kar rahi thi may."Antara cried as she questioned him. Raghu put his finger on her lips to quieten her down. "I'm sorry!" He lovingly apologized. He cupped her cheeks. "Doobara ye galti nai karunga."Abh Rona band karo yaar may agaya Hun na." He kissed her maang and kept his lips pressed to her maang for a few minutes. Parting,he cupped her cheeks once again,they smiled at each other with joy and bliss. His deep dark eyes danced with mischief,her wet lips quivered and parted as if inviting him to devour her rose petals and drink the sweet nectar. Going crazy at her gesture,he lowered his mouth and captured her wet juicy lips. Their lips met and he kissed her in the rain. The rain itself danced all around as he kissed his sweetheart without a sound. Their tongues touched in ecstasy and set their emotions free. He pulled and sucked her lower lip,her whole body ignited and tingled. The rain poured down as if blessing them for their life ahead. After a prolonged kiss he released her to breathe. Out of shy and embarrassment she buried her face in his chest and hid there. Droplets of rain fell down upon their bodies,splashing randomly on the cold ground. "Shall I have this dance in the rain?" Asked Raghu. He tilted her chin up"shall we?" He whispered. Antara noded in yes. Smiling he securely wrapped his arms around her waist,her hands gently placed on his shoulder,they danced seductively to the rhythm of the rain. Antara's delicate fingers ran through his coarse dark stubbles then she cupped his cheeks and stared into his deep dark eyes attentively,yearning a passionate kiss. Unable to resist the hunger in him,he pressed his rough lips to her soft one,luring her in closer,keeping her warm within his arms. Embraced so tightly they kissed in the pouring rain. The beautiful smell of love lingered throughout the air as two lovers kissed and danced in the rain. Raghu's hands roamed her wet body,arousing her from the core. Their sensual lips lashes together full of lust that no one can explain. So playful and so romantic,so indescribable feelings,so unforgettable love scene,kissing without pain,kissing without Shame. Love was happening to them. They were falling in love. "I would love to taste you up and down." Antara's eyes widened when Raghu whispered that in her ears. "From the top of you to your base." He whispered again giving her a mini heart attack. "Nibble your ticklish places,then kiss the smile upon your face." He continued. Her heart started to thud and pound in its rib cage. Breaking free Antara wanted to escape but Raghu grabbed her wrist. "I would pull you with sweet longing to where only you could see and place the deepest parts of me within your reach." Antara gulped at his words. He pulled her hourglass figure on him. A whimper escaped her lips as she collided once again with rock hard chest. Heart beat against heart in their passionate fold as Raghu squeezed her more into him. Raining her face with his wet and wild kisses he sealed her lips with his once more. Their lips clung to each other lit with a passionate fire. Rantara stood wrapped in each other's arms,they will never forget this kiss in the rain.
