Sanam reminds me of Sandra Bullock.Of course Sandra is far more accomplished and Sanam has a long way to go and needs to polish her craft but yeah..she certainly is one of my absolute favs.Iguess like many ppl point out it has to do with the strength in the bodylanguage and her confident demeanour. She had a tremendous screen presence in ZGH.Something about her makes her stand apart...

Yes true that, that she played Kashaf brilliantly and I am glad that she got to play her, coz Kashaf made her popular, else even though she's a brilliant actor, she wouldn't have achieved the kind of popularity she does. Though IMO due to keeping a low profile and keeping away from the media she isn't as popular as she could have been.

Agree with what u said.👍🏼

@ Bold - yeah der's an inherent confidence that makes her stand out and I suppose she totally gets into the skin of the character and forgets everything and everyone else. 😆

Also it's pretty telling when she's just not able to be a character impromptu and I have seen this happen with her again and again in talk shows. When she is asked to deliver a line or 2 in the mannerism of a particular character she has portrayed, invariably she isn't able to do it, coz I suppose she tends to get into the skin of the character and hence can't do it on the spot. Also shows that she's a shy, private and reserved person.

When i look at the range of Sanam Saeed,s work ,she is not run of the mill kind of actor . She has persona where she has something X factor . Watch today watching Shayam Benegal,s Movie Mandi and while watching that Smita Patil reminded me of Sanam . At ZGH time also when i used to think who can be fittef in Kashaf,s role from our industry ,it always came Tabu,s name . Sanam was at par from the first moment in ZGH and then warched her Talkhiyaan where again she was brilliant . She is in competition to herself . Have watched her other sghows also . Sanam really takes the cake .

Sanam Saeed! What To Say? The First thot which cums to my mind is of a simple, sweet Shy Woman..!! But Noo Dude!!! Its just more than what meets the eye.. The Woman who is shy, simple and sweet! But at the same time.. A Woman who is strong, confident liberal yet conservative in many woman.. Being A Crazy Sanam Maniac I just lovee everything about her personality!!! ❤️❤️ From The Strong Kashaf Of Zindagi Gulzar Hai to Rebel Shazia of Mera Naseeb. Sanam Excels In All!! Be It her Beautiful Chemistry wid The Hearttrob Fawad Khan! (My Favorite!! ❤️) Or The Heartwarming Chemistry Wid Imran Abbas. Sanam is the actress who has garnered not only critical acclaim but viewer's love as well! I havent seen much of her shows but have heard about Bibi from Talkhiyan and Sania frm Shukk.. Im eagerly waiting for Zindagi to air her Shows! She is an actress who reminds me of our unconventional actresses like Shabana Aazmi, Smita Patil and Tabbu. Lovee Herr!! And Im Glad that Zindagi aired ZGH First! ❤️ Proud Sanam Fan.

same was with me when i saw her in ZGH and was thinking who could fit in her shoes . We have many talented ones . Nandita Das , Konkona sen but do not know it was Tabu who came to my mind and wnen i talked to some then response was Tabu . Some one mentioned Sandra Bulluk , she is unconventional in her looks also . Sanam persona gives vibes of strength of character and this i found in her other characters also . With Fawad ,both were at the same wave length where acting is concerned . And when both the actors are versatile ten brings best in each other . Have seen many of Sanam,s drama but ZGH remains her best for me where she had wide range of emotions .

OK had forgot to mention Sanam's chemistry with her co-stars. So am adding it here.😳 BTW other than ZGH and to a lesser extent Shukk and now Firaaq, love stories have not been central to the roles she has played.

Of course her most talked about chemistry was with Fawad Khan and they sizzled together as Zaroon-Kashaf and more than anything I found their chemistry very real and natural and not only in romantic scenes, but their chemistry was palpable in every scene, whether just meeting for the first time, or their confrontations during university days or their attempts at being friends, their showdown in the library, their meeting after years and even their phone call conversations.

But other than Fawad, Sanam has always shared fantastic chemistry with all her co-stars. Her chemistry with Adeel Husain is well known and believe me when the first time they meet in Mera Naseeb, I thought they were paired, as there was so much of sparks flying in that first meeting between Shazia and Shabaz.. They complemented one another very well in Shukk and I loved their disdain filled interaction in Daam.

Also Shazia- Moiz had great chemistry in Mera Naseeb as well as Paymaan-Imroze in Firaaq and Monty-Bibi and Bibi-Baloo in Talkhiyan But as I always say chemistry is not necessarily of romantic types only, but the interaction between actors and the underlying tension that gets created because of the acting prowess. So the hate filled and distrust interactions between Minah and Asad were no less sizzling. Loved Janu Baba and Bibi's sarcastic and resentful tirades.

Not only her male co-stars, but her interactions with her female colleagues have been no less. Kashaf-Sidra shared a very typical, cute, endearing sisterly bond which came out brilliantly in their interaction. I have loved her scenes with veteran actors like Waseem Abbas, Hina Bayat, especially in Talkhiyan where their characters are always at loggerheads and constantly taunting, Sakina Sammo and others too.

And last but not the least she has shared wonderful bonding with kids. Both times as a mother her bonding with the kids have simply been heart- warming. Sania-Rumi just made one go awww and one really felt for this mother-son duo. In Talkhiyan Bibi's bonding with her twins Zoyee and Jugnu was more complex, but no less endearing and heart wrenching.

@ Khamosshhh 🤗
So aptly said... 👏
Loved Sanam with Fawad in ZGH... And with Imran Abbas in Mera Naseeb...
Kashaf and Sidra in ZGH... Shazia and Nazia in Mera Naseeb... ❤️
While watching Mera Naseeb even I thought for sometime that Shazia and Shahbaz were cast as a couple... 😆
Kashaf's interactions with sir Abrar in ZGH.. The bitterness in her heart for her father... Her scenes with her mother...
Shazia's interaction with her Ammi, chhoti Ammi and Phuphi ammi..with her mother in law...

I haven't watched the other shows but I'm pretty sure they would be equally amazing... 😊

Thanks.😊

And hope u watch the other Sanam dramas. Talkhiyaan is a class apart and Shukk is good too, but I don't find any of her dramas that I have watched bad and would love to have your take.

Oh there I forgot Shazia-Nazia and yes is was a very sweet bond where both love each other in spite of people trying to create misunderstandings between them.
