For me personally, the moment Meera tells Arnav she knows what a cardiologist does broke my heart. There are more reasons than one that it hit me particularly hard. But in relation to your writing- I think, the most poignant (I keep using this word with you) part is the way you describe Meera nodding slowly, her voice quiet.

Divorced, an eight letter word, a label that closes doors on a relationship that was meant to be forever. Not unlike widowed, a seven letter word with the same import she thought: This line is one I really loved. You have these little insertions that are beautiful, and I like to find them. They stick with you.

I like Lavanya and Khushi's relationship, that we've just been introduced to. I like how she gently prods Khushi, pushes her ever so slightly. I really like how you've set it up. It's a very relatable friendship.

Your writing is so fluid. Just so easy to read, and it so... subtly touches you. You don't really realize it while you're reading it, but after, it kind of leaves you thinking.

This is such a deep story dealing with so many emotions at a time. Pain of loss, the emptiness, the strength of standing together as supporting pillars, the hope of a new life, the irk kindle of old friendship, and those buried feelings.

Especially the way the time lag of Arnav's reappearance in her life keep prompting up either on her thoughts or on her lips, the way she held her breath to know Arnav's marital status. I loved these lines. You very eloquently expressed how a relation dies In a Divorce and in a death. And yet what is left as a remnant.

And yes Khushi has lived her life with NK, had her share of happiness and sorrows with him, have there baby and had him as her friend her support mechanism to fall back on. Her remembering him at every point is so natural.

This update was spectacular that I can't put in word what I felt but I tried. I had goosebumps when I read Meera telling Arnav she knows what a cardiologist does and her reactions thereafter.

You are a wonderful writer.

Totally a new premise whch I'm loving thoroughly! :))
The array of words n the story is smooth flowing :))
As the title suggests , seems like it is from Arnavz pov primarily as for now..
What was it in the past that seperated them?

Nice chapter. On one hand Khushi still yearns for NK, on the other hand she does not want to push Arnav away. Nicely written. Meera is very cute and I loved the way she talked to Arnav and asked him whether she can meet him in Delhi. That was sweet. Manorama seems like an understanding woman. Will wait for next Saturday for the next chapter and the lunch date...
