Abhay-Piya are HOT but headed for a MESS.
Alright ppl,
Can I say that I just LOVED today's episode even
though I wanted to shoot Maya with sade hue
ande and tamaatar everytime she came on
screen? I still can't believe that she has landed
AbhIya in such a mess. They both are being
accused, abused, bashed , humiliated , isolated
and blah blah blah ... why? Because they both
made the mistake of helping a spineless sissy
like her... GAH!
Anyway, back to Abhay-Piya and Misha.
Abhay never fails to intrigue you, does he? He
veils his supersoft side and his warm spot for
Piya by keeping a straight face and telling her
that he is with her and saving her because they
are caught in a situation. He is helping her just
like he would help anyone else... at least that's
what he wants a besotted Piya to believe.
Abhay knew it instinctively - in the hearts of his
supposedly cold heart that Piya was in clear and
present danger. He was intelligent enough to
comprehend Dan's evil streak and what he is
capable of. So, instead of going all moony-eyed
over Piya and hanging between her and Maithli ,
he got down to action. He arrived at Piya's
hostel knowing that Dan would show up here to
make meatballs out of Piya after what she did at
his parents' place...
And the lion had to save the lamb - which he
did. He risked exposing his powers to Piya to
save her from Dan. Abhay could have beaten Dan
to pulp at the hostel itself but that would attract
attention and Abhay needs no more popularity.
He used his brains than his brawn and took Piya
away from there for the night. It was the best
and logical thing to do...and I don't think Piya is
going to remember much about Abhay's
supernatural powers. He seems to have erased
the experience .. I mean , Piya never asked
anything.
For Abhay , Piya is safe only when she is with
him. He has to be sure and he has to keep her in
front of his eyes and for that , in the middle of
night , he took her to Raichand Mansion- his
home... Risking the wrath of Sexy Hasoo and
Twisted Chandoo. That's Abhay for you. I don't
think lectures and threats are gonna work on
Abhay. If he can bring Piya to his home.. his
bedroom...even when they are not in a
relationship , you can imagine the lengths he can
go to when he loves her irrevocably tomorrow.
What followed is kind of heartbreaking.
Heartbreaking because you have this angelic
looking nimble teenager seeing her soulmate in a
dark knight ... and the dark knight , suppressing
all his attraction towards her big eyes still holds
a candle for a ladylove he lost somewhere back
in time...
Yeah, Piya has to know about Maithli sooner or
later ...Maithli is the one who stands between her
and Abhay , not anyone else. And you can clearly
see how much Abhay must have loved her... loved
her enough to DIE for her. No wonder , he refuses
to fall in love again.
In the last scene , I felt really bad for Piya. The
man she is falling in love with tells her that
there is nothing between them and he is only
doing his moral duty towards her ... don't
mistake this to be a relationship. Piya looked
hurt and she will sleep with the thought that
Abhay is perhaps really someone else's
soulmate. Jenny has always said that Piya has to
fight a MEMORY / A GHOST to get Abhay.
Maithli's ghost.
There were no passionate or intense scenes but
whatever we had of AbhIya just went to show why
their bond is so special.
Misha is a STUNNER. Bechaara Angad . I loved
Mishkoo's scene and it was hilarious to see her
efforts to play Sex and the City go waste when
Pintoo's Mom said that she can't even see her
properly. Pintoo, ab aa bhi ja yaar.
That apart , Abhay-Piya are headed for a big
mess. Everyone is against them and it is only
going to get worse. And in these times, they will
have nobody except each-other. What a
punishment for being good!
