Khushi Kumari Gupta aka Aahat Singhania
Khushi is an innocent middle class girl of 25. Fun-loving and caring, she loves her family. Her life changes suddenly and completely at 18 when she finds out that her identity isn't what she thought of it to be after she reads her late parents' will who had died in a car accident in London.
Contrary to Khushi, Aahat is a strong, independent and confident woman. When she gets to know that Aahat is the real Khushi who had been lost due to her father's death she decides to live the best of both worlds with her real family and with that of her massi's since the latter brought her up. Aahat knows her worth and runs her fashion house with utmost sincerity and loves her family more than anything.
Arnav Singh Raizada - He is a man with a past. As a boy he has struggled to accept his parents' suicide and this brought him up to his stature of the ruthless businessman. But he has transformed and discovered his inner self after Khushi came into his life. He loves his di and Khushi the most and hates traitors.
Aanchal Singhania aka Payal Singh Raizada/Gupta - She is Aahat's real sister contrary to what was shown in the show. She has also been brought up by the Gupta's. A sweet and caring personality, she was also unaware of her real identity till she found out about the will two years before Aahat.
Arav Singhania - Real brother of Aahat and Aanchal. He is straight forward and doesn't think before speaking. But very pure at heart. He has been brought up in the Singhania family and was a cousin according to his sister's before they got to know about the will. He is a photographer by profession.
Ehem Singhania - He is the son of Aahat, Aanchal and Arav's gaya ji and tayi ji. He is only a day younger than Aahat but extremely close to her. He was also thought of as a far away cousin before the revelation of the will.He and Aahat are like twins, mentally and emotionally.
Ehsaas Kapoor - She is the eldest cousin of the Singhania household and elder real sister of Ehem. She is married and has three children Rhea and Reyhansh twins and Rehaan the youngest.
Rohit Kapoor aka Jeeju - Ehsaas's husband and a lovable person. A successful businessman in Mumbai. Close to the whole family.
Daadi - A strong yet lovable lady. Eldest in the Singhania household and extremely close to Aahat and Ehem.
Mohan Singhania and Eshani Singhania aka Taya ji and Tayi ji - The awesome guardians to all the cousins and very modern in their thinking.
Ramu Kaka - He is the family servant and the head of all the servants employed in the Singhania household. He bosses over them in a playful way and loves the children dearly. He cares a lot for all of then and calls the girls baby and guys baba.
All the cousins are educated in London but Aahat and Aanchal were said to be on scholarship so that the family tradition of all studying in the institution of Cambridge University could be maintained.
Aahat and Ehem are avidly involved in the family business and have made it very successful. The family owns a fashion house at power with ASR.
