In a way all are lucky for their first chance? But then one can say all must have worked hard on their portfolios, weight, looks, acting skills, etc, before their launch?

Its a fine line. Idk. But I'm not sure if I would call it luck or destiny...

Some were destined to be actors the day they were born.

OKay I am going to get REALLY PHILOSOPHICAL RIGHT NOW...so before that happens...lol. I will stop... 😆😆

I think every actor has had a certain amount of luck to at least get started. I'm sure some incredibly talented people go to auditions regularly and just never catch that one break. And the ones who were born into filmi families had a bit more of that luck.

Having said the above, here is whom I think was lucky or unlucky.

Lucky: Shahrukh Khan. I'm sorry but while the man is very charming and has the cutest smile and dimple he does not have hero good looks nor is he the best actor. He was also lucky to have Salman and Aamir refuse Baazigar and Darr respectively which basically made his career.

Unlucky: Too many to count but off the top of my head, professionally speaking only, Abhishek Bachchan. He has proven to be a good actor and is not bad looking either. But to go from having all those hits in the mid 2000s to suddenly having all the flops something went wrong. If his upcoming movie with Asin doesn't do well he's probably done as a solo hero. But from what we can see he doesn't seem much bothered by it based on the fact that he's concentrating on his sports teams much more than his films right now.

Well in that sense , I think Shiney Ahuja gives a tough fight to Sanjay (who had already achieved a lot in his 20-25 yrs career) as he(Shiney) was/is very good,intense actor , his debut movie was internationally acclaimed making him win best debutant award , already good contacts and so was probably destined to rise more ..
However , if he actually had committed 'sins' , then no feeling bad for him .
Otoh , I somehow feel bad 4 Akshaye Khanna .. He was also very fine actor , I must say..Capable by 'himself alone'..Though he had many hits in his bag , but he would have gone even more far had luck favoured.. :(
