DB goes to Ira's room and on the pretext of asking her to open a bottle, tells her about Meenu's new TV and their plans to watch a romantic film that night. Also expresses her sadness that Anoop did not gift his brother a TV as well to make things better and share his happiness at doing well in business. Ira, after controlling herself a lot, ultimately tells DB that Anoop had many occasions to smoothen the relationship but he did not wish to. She tells DB to go sleep.

Morning Ira goes to the kitchen, where meenu is making b'fast. Ira questions her as to why she is cooking when Sanchi has already cooked. Meenu tells her that Anoop does not want the poha (puffed rice dish) so she is making upma. Ira then asks her to put another cup of water in the already simmering vessel of water for tea. Meenu tells her that this water is for Anoop's English tea and Alok does not drink such tea. Tells Ira to make tea for Alok after b'fast is cooked. Ira is hurt, she and Meenu further have some words, dignified ones, and Ira leaves kitchen hurt. DB is listening in and is maha pleased with herself. Sanchi too is in kitchen and is wondering what is happening in the house.

Anandi reaches Mandira's house, finds Jyoti sweeping leaves in the garden. She questions her and learns that Jyoti has been purchased by Mandira. She is shocked. Suddenly Mandira appears and sends Jyoti away. Anandi tells her she came looking for a file that she may have left behind. She then leaves when Mandira denies existence of file.

She decides to save Jyoti and calls Shiv. She informs shiv about Jyoti. She tells him that she wanted to take the girl away but called Shiv because of his friendship with Puneet. Shiv calls Puneet and is shocked at his callous attitude. He tells Anandi that they will save Jyoti. Friendship and justice are two different things. He tells her not to take law in her hands. He will talk to the police. He calls the police.
