Sometimes forum members become so involved, they start taking digs at family backgrounds. Bilkul ghalut baat hai. Everyone has a past - who are we to judge?

He himself mentioned abt his great background in the show. So, we have every right to discuss it.

Yes. He mentioned once tht he used to be a gunda with a gang. Apparently, he changed after meeting his wife and she mellowed him down.
So what's so great abt tht background? Lots of men are angry and aggressive when they are young. Chaddi uncle is more aggressive even at this age.

We can definitely discuss how dark the background of Pritam is having worked in beer bars & being a women-hating creep. But please dont take up his wife's past profession as she is not the contestant.

But the member I quoted did not simply discuss it. He referred to family background in a not so pleasant manner. He said, "Wow what a family background." (with clapping emoticon)

Sorry but my nature and upbringing does not permit me to take digs at someone's family background. Even if it's for a contestant that I'm not very fond of.

I never said don't discuss. I simply say don't judge. There's a difference :)

everyone has a dark background...if he had overcome it,so we should concentrate on his present...he had suffered so much to gain this position in life...so a hats off to him...atleast he was earning livelihood for his family rather to sit idle

bt u don't have any right to judge his background n pass derogatory comments on his family members.

wat if his wife has worked in b grade movies.. she has every right to earn her living..

Pritam is from a very respectable family for your info...

His family used to run a restaurant in Nagpur where his parents are settled ( though they are originally from Punjab) . The restaurant is a famous one for the tasty Punjabi dishes they serve and that also explains Pritam's interest in cooking..Maybe they seve beers also there..

This information is gathered from his FB page..

By profession, he is an RJ and was based at Nagpur, he was hugely popular there due to his radio show...few years back he moved to Mumbai when he got offer from Red FM based on his huge popularity. He has acted in a couple of films like Escape from Taliban where he played a villain. He found more success as an RJ than in movies.

He is a segment winner of a reality show Welcome Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi ki where he took on Bakhtiyar Irani strongly...

He once told Gautam in the LF that he has gone to jail once for beating up a guy.

That's all I know. Was he implying that he can do the same again?

I agree abt not involving family members. But, we have every right to judge him. Infact, every contestant comes on BB to be judged. He himself mentioned that he has an violent background, by beating up ppl and going to jail. And he mentioned it a proud way. If he's proud of it, then I have every right to judge that he should be ashamed of his gunda background.
