I happen to be a woman, hindu and Indian - still I love Jalal and for me the rest exist becoz of Jalal - take him away and the rest simply cease to exist - does that make me anti women and anti everything else ?!?!?! How can anyone be accused of being anti just for loving or prefering one character over all others ????? And now I am going to pray to my frnd Ms. Kayanat that she gives only Rajat the chance to do the role of Ashoka even as she gives him the opportunities of doing power packed roles in cinema as a reward for giving face to my favorite historical character and most importantly for maintaining his royal dignity inspite of so many trying to shatter it to pieces - for this alone Rajat deserves all the kudos.[/QUOTE

True that Adi - RT's Akbar maintained his dignity throughout the episode without a single moment miss in spite of the monumental injustice done to his characterization in making him retract his statements. I fully stand and support whatever he did with Salim, Salima and Mann Singh.

Only Salim has misunderstood ; Other two were perfectly in sync with his custody judgement because they have trust in Jalal and have a worldly knowledge of Justice System.

Shouldn't Jodha begum had veiled her face when summoned to come front in DEK...there's a reason she and other royal ladies sit behind parda...the last I remember Rukku was vieled in DEA while trying to carry off stunt with Shehanshaah...CVs!!! are these nuances so much pain to follow.
BTW I love Jodha more when behind a veil😉

One of those thousand bloopers recorded so far - Remember how she coveredher entire face with veil, when she had to pronounce judgement for BB in FP case.

Without that veil, it was looking even more odd - Did not have the Tehzeeb of a Queen at all.

Waise no where in the world an Emperor has to put headgear on his chief Queen, who is the mother of his son and also his BELOVED ISHQ. Probably he was afraid that she will start another lecture in private quarters if he chooses to handle it there.

So he gave farmaan rights first and then dyed headgear in front of court so that he can escape one more bhashaan.

Smart Emperor, this one is !!!! 😆

Btw I used to think - still do infact - that issuance of a royal decree ala farmaan is more on the lines of a sacred duty and not some right, earned or otherwise !!!!

From my limited knowledge, my understanding is that it is earned based on the 360 Deg capability linked to birthrights. What I mean a person with royal lineage only can issue farman i.e Emperor's MOM / SON/Wife etc.
Hypothetically speaking if Akbar had a Navratna who was super special and trusted by Akbar like his life itself, would he have given Farmaan rights to that person ? No.

I could be wrong.

adi, so well said👏..even for me there is no MUZ without Akbar the great! no Akbar then no great sultanat and no great story and u and i would not have been sitting and watching the show on Akbar!..and yes RT has all the abilities of acting any historic role to the perfection and i have yet to see someone who can act a historic better than him!

simple logic. the emperor's mom gets tht right. Its just tht jodha got it earlier. Nd im not talking about history im just going by the show. Talent wise defending maan singh tht too for just a nazarband is not a qualification. 2ndly as far I know noone can't change an emperor's decision not even his mother. So jo can change jalal's decision is another stupidity shown. I maybe wrong but I don't think its right.

munni, the jahan pana's decision is the ultimate and i have not heard of this..farmaan zaari means another form of power but not power greater than the emperor himself!
