Theres something very unnatural abt Ammaji...the way she goes on obsessing abt Bunty.🤢

They say Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhie Bahu thi...Ammaji's saas is much more modern and understanding than she is...Ammaji is such a hypocrite, she herself had a love marriage and now she doesnt want her son to be happy with his beloved! 😡

How can Ammaji who is supposed to be a loving mother and a good person (as characterized in the serial) not give even a little time to Sagarika to adjust in the family. And as compared to the elder DIL, Sagarika is at least trying.
Also Ammaji has 2 daughters herself. How will she feel if her daughters MILs in future treat them badly, interfere in everything they do and find faults?

I know this is just fiction but such instances happen in real life. People should put themselves in others shoes and have a little empathy.

Ammaji isnt insanely obsessed with her older son, Pappu, so she gives lots of leeway for his wife, who is by no means an ideal bahu in any way. Rani gets away with everything as shes the wife of older son, not wife of favorite son. Poor Sagarika has to put up with all abuse, she wont get any chance to adjust because Ammaji has made up her mind to hate her fav son's wife.

They showed Amma as bheegi billi who never opened her mouth other than to eat, in the beginning episodes, and suddenly after Bunty's wedding she has become a mooh phat drama queen who speaks back to her hubby and throws tantrums at the drop of a hat. The hubby and granny also seem submissive and let her get away with her stupid tantrums.

Even I wonder, her mother-in-law is so cordial with her, she supported her so much when she got married and this Amma is so uncouth and domineering!

Yes very much. Also Amma needs to be "fixed" on her "name changing" stuff and Rani needs to be "fixed" not for wearing nighties and roaming around in the house but for speaking nonsense to Ratna didi and generally for speaking rudely to anyone.

I think when one says "fix" somebody it is for the right things. revelvent things that affect the house and others.

Dress code needs to be decent like wear daytime clothes when you are roaming around in daytime. wear nighties only at night.

come outside covered with a housecoat when in hurry otherwise wear proper day time clothes.

We are westernized but not fully so. Hain na?

Western women dont wear nighties outside their bedroom. As soon as they get up, they take shower and change into proper clothes which they can wear when they go outside too. Like regular clothes, pants-top or dress or skirt.

I am staying in the west and I have never seen woman roaming around in their night clothes...nightie is actually a very much Indian thing popularised during the british rule...british to chale gaye nightie chod gaye 😆😆

Anyways I have nothing against nighties.I dont have prob with anyone wearing anything even binikies are fine with me...
I dont dislike rani as well. She is not the maid servent of the house. If She dosent like cooking etc no one has any right to force her.
My prob is amma...she is too dominating and interfering...After a certain age kids shld be let free...they cant remain attached to the umbical cord all the time...Amma has to understand this.
