Religions basically are great and inspirational, but when in this 21st Century, the Age of Technology, we are still plagued by religious beliefs that may be a contributing cause of terrorism, killings and wars between nations, then intellectuals should attempt to find solutions for these problems; hence I submit Transcendology.

people use religion as an excuse when they wanna go violent. I believe no religion ever encourages violence. It's happening since ages.Age of technology cannot change how evil works.

What about atheists? can they ever attain spiritual enlightenment?

BTW Hinduism accepts people who don't believe in god,so atheists born into Hinduism are...still hindus.

What inspires the homicide bombers around the world? Well, the answer to that is found in the Qur'an, as well as the Hadiths (the recorded teachings of Muhammad). While at least 114 verses speak of love or peace, sixty percent of the Qur'an deals in some fashion with jihad!

Surah 4:89 tells Muslims to not take Christians, Jews, or pagans as friends, and also orders the murder of those who depart from Islam: "They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Auliy' (protectors or friends) from them, till they emigrate in the Way of Allah. But if they turn back (from Islam), take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them, and take neither Auliy' (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them." Surah 9:123 says, "O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who are the Al-Muttaqn (the pious)."

hmm that's weird😔
didn't believe you at first so checked it for myself and you're right.
That was a surprise to me since I amnt familiar with the Quran.I agree with your point about Transcendology.Hinduism does deal with it and hence it accepts atheism.

Transcendology is a concept of Transcendentalism. Its creed is that it is of no importance during our physical life whether Allah/God exists or not if one so chooses. Whether or not one believes in a spirit or Allah/God really makes no difference to Allah/God. Righteous living will determine the continuance and destiny of our spirit/soul. Receiving solace via blessings and being comforted during life's trials and tribulations by having our spirit inspired by the Spirit of God, if one believes it,can enhance one's life measurably. All religions that promote and abide by the principles of peace, love and compassion are ALL equally valid.

Indeed,Transcendentalism is just an English name given to one of the Geeta's philosophies so that the Westerners understand it.Hinduism is the oldest and hence the most evolved religion IMO.

I did see god in human form once when I was 6 years old and suffering from pneumonia. In front of my bed there was a poster of Lord Krishna with slokas written on it.I used to see my mother weep seeing my consistent ill health.
At night I heard a song, found Lord Krishna singing and sort of dancing, blowing balloons pink in color made of threads.I was amazed.Something disturbed my mom in her sleep,I assumed it's the song.
.
.
Years later am still amazed.I was curious and researched.Turned out that a lot of patients with pneumonia hallucinate due to lack of oxygen. :(

All this discussion about god made me want to share the experience.

Hindu leaders, reformers, and nationalists refer to Hinduism as a unified world religion. Sanatana dharma has thus become a synonym for the "eternal" truth and teachings of Hinduism, the latter conceived of as not only transcendent of history and unchanging but also as indivisible and ultimately nonsectarian.

Hindus believe in one Supreme Being. The most prevalent expression of worship for the Hindu comes as devotion to God and the Gods. The plurality of Gods are perceived as divine creations of that one Being. So, Hinduism has one supreme God, but it has an extensive hierarchy of Gods. Devotion to God and the Gods of Hinduism is known as Bhakti. It is an entire realm of knowledge and practice unto itself, ranging from the childlike wonder of the unknown and the mysterious to the deep reverence which comes with understanding of esoteric interworkings of the three worlds. Hinduism views existence as composed of three worlds. The First World is the physical universe; the Second World is the subtle astral or mental plane of existence in which the devas, angels and spirits live; and the Third World is the spiritual universe of the Mahadevas, "great shining beings," our Hindu Gods. Hinduism is the harmonious working together of these three worlds.
