Dont you think too much policing happening here? Too many threads being closed. I totally understand the fact that you dont want to verbally attack some member, but come on a small spank here and there verbally should be ok. Even if thats not ok, I couldnt believe that members are not allowed to critisize singers. hurting the fans ??? duh! I am extremely hurt when a bad singer is praised. Lets close those threads too!!!

Guys and gals, I remember C2005 forum had many more members actively discussing lot of stuff, like music etc., But too much policing has made this forum very boring. Soon, people here come only to download the videos!.

I hope mods dont close this one and keep it on top so that we all get some good inputs from members. After all, this forum is of members, for members, and by members. No ?

Exactly, which is why it should be OK to say some singer was bad too.

Some members here r on a reporting hunt. They can't see their favorites getting put down for the bad singing they do. I understand its not that easy to accept the truth but ones gotta learn sooner or later.

I do feel the same way that even non cotroversial clean topics just get closed for many people and it is very rude.Even if we ask who sang a song it gets closed as we are supposed to put it in the questions thread where you dont get an answer for a long time as most of us dont visit.
Honestly in the year 2005 the forum was more vibrant and more friendly. For whatever reason it has become quite stifling and undemocratic.
This is my opinion and I dont mean to hurt anyone but I must admit Anu was Kind and always reasonable while closing some topics.
The other musical show there is hardly any activity and if you start closing topics left right and centre it dampens the spirit of a lot of people.
Sure by all means do close the topics which will create
cotroversy.

making negative or postive comments about contestants singing should be allowed. i mean it is a singing competition so the only way to judge them is based on their voice quality, sur, song selection etc.

BUT, where the line should be drawn is when the comments become personal. calling certain contestant a hooker, ugly, making comments about what someone looks like. all this is unnecessary....it has nothing to do with their singing and should not be brought in.

I totally agree some of us get so much carried away and post thses types of comments which are not allowed in any forum even if a person is dressing really wierd for the party to classify as one.

How can some one comment on person's dressing when every one knows that the designer choose the clothes and not the contestant and what it has to do with singing what kind of sunglasses you were? If there is an eye infection going on a person with infection has to wear glasses to cover their eyes completely so other ppl won't get infected. Other wise who would like to were those ugly sunglasses so ppl call the person looks like a hooker. come on ppl is this a comment on some one's singing or a personal very low attack.

Completely agree with all of it & same holds true with discussion of family background, region/religion etc... It should be just on singing from different perspective... we should respect each others opinion. Opinion may depend on personal choice/knowledge... so we may differ and that's ok. it should not be debated like a debate unless it's a DOTW topic....
