I liked the movie...and 3hrs full entertainment. 👍🏼

Guess what
I planned for going at 7 pm show
But when I get here it's houseful, all tickets are sold
I cldn't be prouder n sadder all at the same time...in my whole time of watching BW movies in theaters in USA this is the first time I have been in such situation where I can't find a ticket to a BW movie.

Anyways driving to another theater for 9pm show
lets hope I get in warna I will come back crying n cursing..LOL

Happy New Year Day 2 Box Office Collections: Early Estimate

Happy New Year was steady on its second day at multiplexes, but single-screens at some mass-centres have witnessed bigger drops. The All-India fall though was normal for a Saturday, after a record-breaking holiday opening.

The Shahrukh Khan starrer continued to do well in circuits like Mumbai and East Punjab. Delhi/UP was strong, but trade sources says business could have been affected by communal riots. Centres like C.I and C.P Berar dropped on Day 2, West Bengal and Mysore were strong. Tamil and Telugu versions have fallen, but the Hindi version in Tamilnadu/Kerala and Andhra/Nizam is performing well.

Happy New Year has now collected around 81 crore in 2 days and should comfortably get to somewhere around 115-120 crore, giving the film the highest first weekend in the history of Indian Cinema - ahead of Dhoom 3s weekend collections of 107.61 cr.

• Friday - 44.97 crore
• Saturday - 36-37 crore (approx)
• Total - 81-82 crore

My review
Whats Good : some funny scences in first half... abhishek bachan and some dances look lavish on big screen
Whats Bad : one thing i feel that was WDC bt we dont get to see some breathtaking dances esply in finals..if dances were of top level as it is WDC i would hv given 4/5
Story : Farah keep story very simple yet its not a bad story, i like the story! every part has been explained very well! n apart from abhishek character everything KINDA seems logical ! its typical farah khan story bt one thing that it does nt show face off between heros and villains.. i mean villains has been shown most stupid bt heros most brainy!
Performances : srk was thik thak! he played role very well! sonu was ok ok! vivian was good! abhishek was very good! bt its deepika character with whom i connect so much..deepika was superb and i love scenes most in which deepika was there! farah should hv given her some difficult steps too in dance! bt she was effective n u feel for mohini !
Go for it ..it wont disappoint u...
