As for the precap scene - I read what you and Diksha wrote - here is what I think might happen

They will show Jalal go towards the kid in anger but stop seeing the kid crying and his mother will rush in take the kid and jump into Jauhar.

Seeing this he might get shaken and the talk with God and he might try to laugh but he will cry instead and then remember Jodha's words.

If they have taken 7 years leap with 5 years old Salim - I think SA is nearer than we thought.

but
not Ruk exposure and punishment,
not Jalal care about his twins and do justice to them by pointing out Ruk's part in Zeenat,
not show Jalal stand by a woman who loves him unconditionally and stood by him at all times
he could not do that in her worst time

- so why were we expecting them to show bonding, craving for child, pilgrimage, birth in Sikri?

They only thrive on negativity and perversion. Since love story is already dead who cares?

Episode was nice and rajat was good. In yesterday episode when saw that kid i was glad that he is not the salim whose pic was floating in forum.
But after promo dunno what to say. Now they are rushing the story like jet speed as like jodha akbar ki ab koi story hi nahi bachi hai. Ab bas ek yahi wish karati hun yeh show jald jald se band ho jaye.

My news is that 20th November is the deadline for close of JA and start of SA. I think the CVs are very cleverly laying the foundation of Salim's character now for the next one month by showing justification for why he is so adamant later on Anarkali.

So in a way by showing him as a spoilt brat they have already taken the turn towards SA. Now everyone here thinks this promo is about Jodha Akbar distance even after Salim, but actually its about Salim, Salim and Salim.
