Does he state that?

Does he comment on Krishnas own reaction after Ghato?

That's why I call him intellectually dishonest

Though the writing is good., you will end up hating it once u finish., given you suppress your urge to throw the book out of ur window while reading it..

agreed i havent even liked a single POV book of a character from Mahabharat whether it be POI,Yajnaseni,Ajaya or others

the only one i liked was 'Govinda' that too because i read it as a completely new story and it has a lot of different twists and turns

or else POV books have a lot of fictional elements to make protagonist seem very sympathetic and other characters very mean and selfish

the one thing i hate in Draupaid POv books is portrayal of panadavs.As big male chauvinists .I am not saying they were or weren't but they were also heroes in a lot of ways so portraying them completely in negative light i just don't like.Its the same even in Govinda pandavas are potrayed in a very poor light

I just want one book from Drauapaid's POv in which she actually loves all her husbands and not some one else and even her husbands respect her and care about her

i dont specifically remember about krishna ji's reaction after Gato's death in 'jaya' but i think he does mention about krishna ji rejoicing if anything more is mentioned i don't remember i need to check

but other incidents he represents them as variations to the story or different folktales whether its jambo fruit story or what krishna ji tells Draupadi during exile

The one think that is actually good about Jaya is that he doesn't present characters as completely good or bad its balanced to a large extent

Read Kaurava. Parth evolves a lot and the growth is shown. With the Keechak incident, Bheem supports her no matter what her decision is but Parth understands that Panchali will never do anything unprincipled. The 4 bros support her. Vasusena does not have much role except in DS, which goes about as expected.

As for her loving all equally- I dont know that its humanly possible. Even in the original Yudhi thought she loved Arjun more.

Hello all,

I had the chance of reading controversial book POI . Wont discuss content not suited. Just wanted to pen down on other thoughts that i liked in the book. I loved bonding of draupadi with her brother shown in the book.. she calls him as Dhri in the book..😊..there is no hatred as such shown in drupad's conduct but when he goes to his just born children from fire..He choose to pick only dhri at that time but dhri holds draupadi's hand and doesnt let go.. and thus drupad has to pick both of them... i found this part n their conversation /interactions cute..😊
