They drove in complete silence and away front the city. The landscape was changing from buildings to lush greenery. After about an hours drive he pulled up a paved road. No street lights. Sun had not completely settled. She could still see outside. The car came to a halt at what looked like a huge warehouse. Very well kept. He took out a remote control pointed towards the small box on the side of the huge steel door. The door started to lift up. And the lights started flicker on one by one in side revealing the interior. He drove inside. And the door closed. She looked at the sight in front of her. It was a huge warehouse that had been transformed into a work shop and showroom. There were about 12 care. Mostly vintage cars. But in pristine condition. Parked next to each other.

She was in awe of the surroundings. There were three sections to the warehouse. The showroom, workshop complete with mini crane and a forklift. The third section a living space. With a couch and a single leather recliner. Coffee table and between the two chairs stood a floor lamp. Then there was a mini pantry. Equipped with a microwave, hotplate and a coffee maker. Next to the counter top was a refrigerator.

Then there was a two door wardrobe. That completed the living area.

He was about to get out of the car. She put her hand on his forearm and She looked at all this and looked at him.

"Please tell me we're not trespassing" she said

"We're not trespassing" he said with a smile on his face.

"Who are you?" She asked

"Shlok. And you"

"Astha! Is this all yours" she asked

"It's in my name if that's what you mean. But it's not mine." he said

"What do you mean" she questioned him

"I have nothing. Or nobody" he said.

"Why" she asked turning towards him.

"It's easy. No one to leave behind. No one to cry over me if I'm killed" he said looking at her.

"What about Sandhya" she asked

"She promised me she won't cry. So I left her my money." He said

"Will you be sad if no one cries? Would you like if some one cries at your funeral?" She asked

"Why are you offering to cry? Don't you have enough money already?" He asked

"I have nothing too" she said

"How much do you want to cry at my funeral" he asked

"But you give money not to cry" she said mischievously.

"Yes, money to be happy and to laugh. But for you I'm willing to make an exception and will be willing to pay you to cry" he was enjoying this.

"Would you want to" he asked getting serious.

"No" came the quick answer

"What the money?" He asked again.

"No" she said inching just a bit towards him.

"Then you want the money" he asked

"No" she said

"What do you want make up your mind" he said

"I don't want to cry. I don't want you to die" she said with her emotions changing.

"Why? I'm nobody to you. You said it yourself" he said reminding her.

She kept looking at him. He could see the tears gathering in her eyes.

"You don't want me to touch you even" he said

"Promise me you you won't die. Then I'd let you" she said

"Make me want to live. Give me a reason to live" he said reducing distance further. Wiped a tear that was threatening to betray her. The moment his finger made contact with her skin all the suppressed desires surfaced like a volcano errupting.

She grabbed him by his collar and pulled him towards her and kissed him with all her pent up emotions. He kissed her back as if she was the water to a man whose been dying of thirst. She didn't need any coaxing to come to him. All she needed to show him was, she needed him. She wanted him to be in her life not as a memory but in flesh and blood. The thought of anything happening to him pushed her over the edge. She wanted to show him her desire. She didn't plan on any of this. In fact this was the last thing in her mind. But they say circumstances changes everything. Life can change for the better or for worse in a nano second. And it did for her too. She didn't want to nor was she able to think anything beyond him at that moment. She wanted to feel him she wanted to make him feel her. That shes alive and and so is he. She's there's for him if he wants her. She wanted to be loved by him. She wanted to be touched by him. Even if it meant loosing herself and her sanity. She wanted him. Physical intimacy at its most primal and raw state.

She does not remember nor does she want to be held accountable for her actions. It was like an out of body experience for her.

She was straddled on him making her intentions crystal clear. And he was more than happy to oblige to to her demand. He was feeling the exact same way about her. She was the one person that he wanted to be with. He knew like the sun and the moon she was the one. It's bizarre you go through life building protective walls around to keep external elements from entering your life and then one fine day a random person when you least expect just walks through all the barricades as if it never existed. She came into his life just like that. Without ever having to pounce or knock down a single Planck even. She had such power over him. He didn't realise this then but that moment she on his lap letting go of her self just so that he would want to live too. It was a full circle moment for him. All that he went through all that he's done all the women he's been with didn't matter any more. His slate was wiped cleaned and a new innings about to start. He was more than willing to.

When she whispered in his ears I want you... He lost all rational thinking and wanted to show her he wants her too. She was urgent and clear In her actions. Every kiss every touch very breath she took told him how much she wants him in that moment.

She kept whispering in his ear..."promise me you won't die on me!" In between the kisses and sounds of absolute pleasure.

His actions conveyed his answer but she wanted to hear it from him. "Say it to me" she demanded.

"I promise" he gave in finally.

They didn't even realise that they were almost fully dressed and they've been to heaven and back. They were in tune with each other. As if the last two pieces of an unfinished jigsaw puzzle. They completed each other.

It was over in minutes but it showed then a lifetime of possibilities. It showed them their future. The rest of their life together flashed in front of them.

"Please just hold me. Just hold me" she said. Keeping her head oh his chest. He did just that. This is how life was meant to be. He kept his hold on her. Kissed her hair.

After there breathing and pulses have returned to normal she asked

"Well what do you think"

"About what?"he asked

"Are you convinced. Do you have a good enough reason to want to live" she asked still keeping her head on his chest.

"I am. But I might need further reassuring" he said placing a kiss on her forehead.

Then he suddenly pulled her away from him and he looked disturbed.

"What is it?" She asked with concern and worry.

"Astha, I'm sorry I wasn't careful, I broke yet another rule" he said

"And that is? By the way I just realised this is the first time you called me Astha" she said with a smile on her face.

"And I just realised you've never called me Shlok. Even though I asked you the very first day" he said pretending to be angry.

I know what you're trying to say Shlok. But you don't have to worry. I'm safe. Would it be so bad if were to become pregnant" she asked.

I can't take care of two kids at the same time" he said

"You're mean" she said

"I can't afford to be irresponsible. I could be gone any moment and I don't want my child to grow up fatherless" he said Getting very serious.

""Shlok I promise you I won't let you slip in to the cold water like Rose let go of Jack" she said very seriously.

Oh dear lord, did she just call me Jack. Yet another one of pancy idols he said remembering a poster of Titanic in her room. Oh! My sweet sweet romantic Rose. He thought with a kiss to her forehead.

She cupped his face and said "I'm sure, you don't have to worry Its been just few days since I've had my ..." She stopped abruptly.

She just hid her face in his chest. And saw him trying to look at himself in the rear view mirror. Then she suddenly reached for the rear view mirror and adjusted for him to see his face.

"What are you doing" he asked.

"So that you can see your pretty face Mr.lovemehotri" she said

"Not my face but our faces. And you got the name wrong,it should be loveyouhotri"

He said still looking at her through the mirror.

She lifted her head in a flash and looked at him. Realising what he just said. Did he just say that he loves me. I think he did. Was she ready to confess her feeling to him. No. She needed more time. She wanted to get out of there quickly. She opened the door and was about to scamper out of his lap when he caught her hand and ask, " what happened? Where are you going?"

"Please let me go I need to use the wash room" she said without looking at him.

"What if I were to tell you I don't have a bathroom. I'm a guy I can go anywhere" he said mischievously.

"I don't believe you. You're not the type that would go anywhere. Now please tell me where it is" she pleaded.

"So you do know my type. That's good to know" saying he let her go.

She managed to get herself out the car. She realised that two of her top buttons were missing as well. He got out after her and saw her trying to cover herself. After making himself decent took out his coat and put it over her shoulder. And said "I'm sorry" and kissed her cheek from behind. She just leaned back on to him. And touched his cheek. As if to say it's ok.

He noticed she was in bit of difficulty. He knew the reason. He just carried her in his arms and took her straight to the washroom. As he put her down ever so gently. when she saw the guilty look in his eyes. She just hugged him back and said "you didn't hurt me. It's been a very long time" he kissed her gently on her lips and said "there are towels under the sink. And I'll get you something to wear.

When she came out of the washroom she found a single Harvard sweat shirt. She took that and went back to the wash room to change. When she came out In his sweat shirt he was waiting outside. It was up to her knee. The long sleeves completely covered her hands. She felt her legs exposed. He came up to her took one of her hands rolled up the oversized sleeve until her hand was revealed. He did both the sleeves and then removed the hair that was in a knot. Said "now that's more like it"

"Ain't you gonna change" she asked

"Why do I stink" he asked

"No but dot you want to" she asked

"No I like the way I am" he said grinning at her.

"But if you insist then I will" saying he was making his way towards the washroom. When she grabbed his hand. "Thank you" she Said.

"No thank you" saying kissed her hand and pulled at it saying "you could make sure I scrub myself well"

She pulled her hand from his and gave him a push. He don't move an inch. ". "You'd have to do way better than that" saying he was on his way.

She tried to sit on the couch and the sweat shirt exposed her legs much to her discomfort. She got up and decided to explore his cars.

She called Filo and informed her that she's safe and not to worry about her. And that she's going to keep her mobile switched off. She'll call if anything.

She was looking at a 1966 Porsche 912. He came from behind and put his arms around her. His hands were cold and water still dripping from his wet hair. A shiver ran though her.

"You like it" he asked.

"It's very beautiful" she said.

"Would you like to go for drive" he asked her.

"What if anybody sees us" she reminded him.

"What are we gonna do about dinner?" He asked.

"Can't I make something" she asked

"If you know to cook nuts and bolts then be my guest" he said keeping his chin on her head.

"Are you hungry" she asked

"I'm famished" saying he turned her towards him. Making her understand his sentence.

He pulled her up for a kiss. And carried her to the couch. She protested.

"Not now. I just washed and changed."

"I have more clothes" he said.

"You can't blame me for trying right" he said placing a kiss on her lips.

"Astha, tell me do you love me" he asked out of the blue.

"Do you love me?" She asked trying to avoid his intense eyes.

"You already know the answer to that" he said

"But I want to hear if from you" she said

"I love you Astha" and smiled at her.

"Now tell me do you love me" he asked her again.

"I need more time" she asked feeling guilty

"I waited all my life, I can wait little longer" she hugged her before he could even finish the sentence.
