That is the rule here too. My brother had to pass entrance examination & get admitted in a medical college after getting a rank.

But Meds is so great. There are so many docs or future docs here. I am not in that line, I am a student of Arts. 😆

Rabi in India there are lacks of student giving examination, although here the number of seat is more even though the seats were reduced this year. Here we have state wise examination as well as National level examination. The National level is tougher. because one has to pass through many examination to get chance.
