Dhruv just stood where Nandini left him, stunned.
Last night, Nandini, her touch, the feel of her soft skin, her lips on his cheek, everything felt so real but he knew it was too good to be true. For him it was like a dream and he didn't dare to move, because he was afraid that even if he moved a muscle this will all end.
Dhruv came back to his senses when his phone went off. Startled, he looked around and noticed he was still in front of Nandini's home. And realization came to him, it wasn't just a dream of his, it was real. Everything was real. Smiling like an idiot he picked up the call.
"Hello Dhruv? Tu kaha peye hai? Mein tere ghar pe wait kar raha hu aur tera hi kuch pata nahi."
"Manik? Tu mere ghar pe kaya kar raha hai?"
"Accha! Aab mujhe tera permission leke ana parega?"
"Nahi...Who...Accha tu rukh mein 10min me ata hun."
Still smiling Dhruv moved towards his bike but with each step he felt pain shot through his legs. He guessed it was for standing for a long time. But was it that long? Confused, he checked the time. He was surprised because the screen of his phone showed it was 6:17.
He stood there for almost an hour. Damn! Love can make people do some stupid stuffs.
Now smiling at his foolishness he mount on his bike and rode away from Nandini's front yard and on to the road.
Dhruv was happy more than words can describe. The morning sun only didn't lit up the day but also his life. The girl he loves kissed him, though on the cheek but she did kiss him. He was on cloud nine and nothing can bring him down today.

Manik was pacing Dhruv's doorway. He has been here for more than half an hour and if you are wondering how he got inside then let's just say he had a spare key, after all Dhruv is his best buddy.
At first when he couldn't find Dhruv he got really worried and Dhruv's mom was still sleeping so didn't wake her up either. After he talked with Dhruv he calmed down and was now waiting for him to come back.
The real reason Manik was here because of what happened yesterday, he almost kissed the girl his best friend loves. He couldn't sleep all night, the more he thought about it the more guilt consumed him. And as soon as the sun came up he got ready and came here.
Of course he can't tell Dhruv what really happened but he is still going to apologize and he promised himself that he is never going to come between his best friend and the love of his life.
As Manik heard the sound of the engine he looked up to see his buddy coming through the already open door. After Dhruv parked his bike he went to Manik.
"Dhruv tu kaha tha?"
The guilty looking boy looked down as he answered "Who...Nandini k ghar."
"Puri raath?"
Dhruv nodded.
"Haaaw! you naughty boy." Manik said pinching his buddy's cheek.
Surprised by the reaction he still managed to say "Manik esa kuch nahi hai."
"Yeah sure." Manik winked "Chal andar chalte hai aur phir batana esa nahi to kesa hai"
Now they sat on Dhruv's bed making small talks. Manik even made them coffee but he didn't ask Dhruv more about his night, he knew it would make he uncomfortable and knowing his friend nothing much have happened and he was sure Nandini didn't say anything about that incident to Dhruv, so he dropped it.
Manik took a moment before he said what he came here for.
"I'm sorry." he stated.
"Sorry? Kiyun? Tune phir se kuch kiya hai kaya?"
Manik tried not to look at Dhruv and even tried harder not to make himself look guilty.
"Nahi...Baas esehi...Matlaab esehi nahi..." He took a deep breath so that next time when he opened his mouth he would make some sense.
Manik again started "Mene abhi kuch nahi kiya. Lekin pehle jo kiya uske liya sorry kehraha hu. You know Nandini k saath jo kiya to kuch haad tak tu abhi hurt huya hai. So buddy I'm sorry and I will never do anything to her which will hurt you. Promise" he finally said and hey he made sense!
Dhruv picked up the seriousness in his voice ans smiled "I hope so." he paused and then said "Veese sorry se yaad aya Nandini ne batayaan k Alya ne usse sorry kaha."
"KAYA?!?" Manik's reaction was like one of the Bau's of Star Plus.
Dhruv laughed at his friend. "Hain, aur who dono aab 'friends' hai."
This only made Manik look paralyzed.
And seconds later their phone went off showing they received a text. First they looked at the text and then at each other and bust out laughing. It was from the same girl about whom they were talking. Alya.
The text showed. 'Saturday breakfast, my place @ 8.'

Alya, Mukti and Cabir were waiting for Dhruv and Manik at Alya's living room. Both the boys didn't meet up with them yesterday and Alya was quite nervous. She didn't know what was wrong with them and Mukti yet didn't give her a straight answer about Dhruv and Nandini, the stubborn girl said she will give her opinion when Dhruv will come.
Alya's mood lit up when she saw Manik entering the room and right behind him came in Dhruv. But the room fell silent when Mukti stood up to stand in front of Dhruv. They stared at each other for a minute. Then still looking at Dhruv Mutki said "Yes."
"Yes?" Dhruv asked in confusion.
"Yes. I accept whatever relation you have with that Nandini."
"R-Really?"
"Yes really. I mean come on we are Fab5 and we can do anything for our friends and our friendship. Right?"
"Right." Cabir chipped in.
"Wow Mukti. I'm proud of you." Alya stated with a smile on her face.
"Yeah me too. Finally our Mukti is mature." Manik teased.
"Thanks guys. It means a lot." Dhruv said with a huge grin plastered on his face.
"Accha, lover boy." Cabir elbowed him.
They all laughed when Dhruv slightly blushed. But Mukti stopped and said "Yeh saab to thik hai lekin Dhruv you can't expect me to be all buddy buddy with her. I mean I still don't like her but I'm doing this for you because she makes you happy."
"It's all good guys. But now let's go for breakfast, I'm starving! And then we can plan how Dhruv is going to confess about his feelings to Nandini." Alya teased him too.
"Okay but first a group hug." Cabir said so they all gathered up together and hugged each other and tied another knot of friendship making their bond more stronger.
But the question is will everything go according to the plan?
Because they didn't know that someone listened to their whole conversation. Who you ask?
