Chapter 7
Though Jeevika thought she would have some alone and relaxing time after her mehndi, she was highly mistaken. Everyone in her immediate family was in and out of her bridal suite. She had last minute outfit trials to her hair and makeup artist wanting to discuss and ask her how she wanted her wedding look to be. She was getting so overwhelmed, she went inside her bathroom for a few minutes to cry it out. She let her emotions fly out, especially the one with fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of living with an entire new family, fear of leaving her own family, fear of even falling down in her heavy wedding outfit tomorrow. After she had a few moments to breathe, she walked back outside and tried finishing everything she had to.
j - "Manvi I don't think I want to go out tonight"
m - "Why di? Everything is planned, and everyone is starting to get ready right now. All your friends are in my room right now"
j - "But Manvi, I don't think we should get out"
m - "Di please, we're not cancelling tonights plans. Let me ask Ma how much is left, we need to start getting ready soon"
Manvi went to talk to her mom who started finishing everything quickly now. They confirmed all final details for tomorrow, before they gave Jeevika some time alone and also to get ready for tonight. As soon as they left though, all of Jeevika's best friends came to her suite. While Jeevika went inside her bathroom to quickly change into the sexiest black dress ever, her friends were popping a bottle of champagne outside. As soon as she walked out in her beautiful black dress, six inch stilettos, and her beautiful smile all her girlfriends were screaming and whistling for the sexy bride and new wife to be. They handed her a glass of champagne and made a toast for her as quickly as possible as they wanted to get out of the hotel at last!
With their champagne glasses in hand, and excitement in their mind the large group of girls headed down to the lobby of the hotel. They kept asking random strangers to take group photos of the Bride and her gang. It was a moment of joy and celebration... the first wedding amongst all of Jeevika's friends too! After taking plenty of selfies and group pictures, they went outside where there was a limo waiting for the girls to celebrate. Jeevika entered the limo first followed by her gang. The limo was filled with snacks, drinks, and best of all a tv that had her bachelorette invitation on. This is what you called a party in style. One by one all Jeevika's friends were told by Manvi to name their favorite memory Jeevika and the stories that came were beyond exciting and fun relieving Jeevika and making her less stressed.
Anamika - "So for my story, I'm going to talk about first meeting my best friend. We were in school, and I had just got transferred from another school so I had no friends and practically felt super left out. Then I saw this group of girls who seemed nice and I noticed Jeevika who was actually in a few of my classes. She came up to me, and I could tell she was a shy nice girl but she was making an effort to talk to me. From that moment on it was never looking back. We were best friends and practically knew each other inside out. However after this one trip to Goa, Jeevika came back and something just seemed different about her. I couldn't go on the trip so I had no idea what was going on. Untl one day I was going get coffee and I saw Jeevika sitting there and with some guy. Now we all know Jeevika is the ultimate party pooper, or atleast she was before Viren. But for the first time, I was seeing her laughing, and oh yeah holding hands with this guy. Not only that, but she was all dressed up. Wearing a short cute dress, hair curled, and wearing makeup. I couldn't control myself and sat at the table right next to Viren and Jeevika. She finally noticed me, but I pretended like I didn't know her. All of a sudden she was emberassed, and feeling awkward with me being there. She kept smiling at me, and in such a funny way like she had been caught red-handed. Then Viren glanced over and recognized me, me being one of his closest friends younger sister. He got up from the table and Jeevika did the same and he came over to greet me and then hugged me while Jeevika just stood there unsure of what was going on. He then introduced Jeevika to me and we both awkwardly shook hands. After a couple of minutes my brother found me and walked over to see me standing next to his best friend and my best friend which was a little unusual for him. He hugged Viren then he hugged Jeevika and asked her how she was doing. Viren was confused at how his best friend knew Jeevika and then my brother explained how me and Jeevika were best friends. Viren sort of got embarrassed because he realized that Jeevika hadn't told anyone about him, and he was very funnily trying to introduce his coffee date to me who I've practically know since forever. Honestly of the most hilarious days of my life" Everyone was laughing at this coincidental and funny story unable to comprehend how funny it must have been to be in that situation. One by one everyone shared there favorite moments with Jeevika until the limo finally reached their destination! The girls were excitedly exiting the limo and waited till everyone was out so they could take group photos in front of the limo. Before they went inside though, Manvi put on a "Bride-To-Be" stash on Jeevika with her golden and pink crown on top. She then handed a stash to every one of Jeevika's friends which said "Bridesmaid." With their colorful accessories on, they headed inside to enjoy their night.
The music was loud and immediately made half the girls run to the dance floor. The other half of the girls went to the bar to start themselves on some shots.
Priyanka - "Can we each get a shot of tequila please" she asked the bar tender.
The bar tender immediately fulfilled her request and as soon as the girls had their shots in front of them they looked at each other and quickly chugged down the tequila shaking their head immediately after from the strong taste. Before Jeevika could ask for another drink, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see who it was.
"Can I buy you a drink?" said her ever so handsome fiance Viren.
Jeevika rolled her eyes and smiled while her girlfriends all laughed. They all left, including Manvi, and went to the dance floor where all of Viren's friends were as well.
j - "Sure"
v - "Can I get two more shots of tequila please" he asked the bartender... "So any special occasion you're celebrating tonight" he asked Jeevika as he was a complete stranger trying to hook-up with a girl at the bar.
j - "Yeah, don't you see the stash" she said moving back a little for him to notice.
v - "Oh so close. So no point in flirting huh?"
j - "Not really" she said smiling.
v - "Well we can still take a shot together right?"
j - "I don't see why" she said blushing
They both looked at each other so affectionately and then took their next shot again. The alcohol was clearly kicking in both of them now. Viren grabbed Jeevika closer to him by her waist. They were so close that they could hear each other's heartbeats despite the loud music. Jeevika couldn't take it any longer, so she took the first step and kissed her fianc. She usually didn't behave like this in public, but who cared... it was the day before her wedding and she was clearly getting drunk. Viren didn't mind the affection and held Jeevika tightly on her waist and continued kissing her till their hearts desired.
As soon as their lips broke apart, Viren and Jeevika looked at each other. Their heads were touching, and so were their noses. Jeevika's arms were wrapped around Viren's neck, while his continued being around her waist. They loved just standing there together, nothing felt better than being with each other and their closest friends around them to who were giving them some cute fun time alone. But the time didn't last for long, soon enough the DJ made a special announcement thanks to Viren and Jeevika's friends. He made a special announcement to the whole party to congratulate the beautiful couple and their future ahead. In honor of Viren and Jeevika, the DJ turned to play a soft and a romantic song. Not any romantic song, but the ultimate romantic song, My heart will go on!
v - "Can I have this dance with you beautiful?"
j - "Would be my honor" she said happily
They both walked hand in hand to the dance floor right in the center. While they slow danced to the beautiful song, their friends captured the beautiful moment by taking videos and photos. The way Viren twirled Jeevika around made for such beautiful pictures it seemed unreal. Slow by slow more couples joined the dance floor taking advantage of the beautiful romantic mood.

As soon as the song end, everyone clapped for not only all the couples, but also the DJ for the soft romantic music. Viren and Jeevika left the stage and walked near all their friends who were having the time of their life. They all headed to the bar again where all the boys were nice enough to treat the girls to drinks. From cracking jokes to getting more drunk, the night couldn't have gotten better. Having a joint bachelor and bachelorette party was probably the best idea ever as not one person wasn't smiling the whole night.
This was probably the cutest update I've written in a really long time ❤️ Maybe its just the song, but I had lots of fun writing something fun and romantic at the same time. Hope you all like it too! Do Hit Like and Comment 😳
