Mukti and Cabir have canceled their jam session. Mainly Mukti, Cabir just tagged along or else she would have killed him. Oh and also he cares for her.
Cabir was in the shower and Mukti was sitting on his bed, her head on her hands. She was getting frustrated. A frustrated Mukti is like a ticking time bomb, can bust any minute. She can't understand what happened to her friends. Everything was perfect but now everything is just falling apart. They were so alike but now they are acting so different. She is not ready to accept the fact that Fab5 is breaking. She just can't.
Cabir's mom came to the room calling after him, Mukti looked up "Aunty who shower le raha hain."
"Beta tu thik hai?" Cabir's mom asked full of concern.
Normally she would have said everything was fine, but it wasn't like other times. "Nahi aunty kuch thik nahi hain." She answered honestly, her voice almost breaking.
"Kaya huya?" Cabir's mom sat on the bed too and took Mukti's hand in her's.
"Pata nahi aunty, esha lagraha hai ki saab bikhar ta ja raha hain. Fab5 meri family hai agar eh toot gaya to mein to..." Mukti couldn't continue. Tears started to form in her eyes.
"Pagal laadaki! Fab5 kiyu tootte ga?!? Tum saab bachpaan k dost ho aur dosti esehi nahi tootti. Har friendship mein jhagra hota hai, har kisi k life mein problem hota hain iska mathlab eh nahi k saab khatam ho gaya. Beta life mein eshi bohath si chiz honge jo shayed tumhe passand naho iska matlaab eh nahi k who galath hai. Thodra whath do, thodra soccho shayed who tumhe bhi thik lagne lage. Apneke liye nahi toh kisi aur k liye, apne dost k liye."
She didn't say anything directly but Mukti knew she was talking about Dhruv.
Aunty continued "Who tum loog kehte ho na 'cool' toh problem k whakth bhi eshe 'cool' rehna chahiye." She said the word 'cool' copying Cabir and this made Mukti laugh.
"Yes mom, cool." Cabir said from the shower.
"Cabir tu sari baathe shun raha tha." Mukti shouted.
"Nahi, mein to behra hu."
Mukti turned towards his mom with a baby face "Aunty!"
"Aab kaya karun? Meri toh ekhi laadaki hai, agar ye chup chup k baath nahi sunega toh aur kon sunega?!?" She said in a fake serious tone.
This made Cabir to shut up and Mukti rolling on the bed, laughing.
Cabir's mom was going to leave the room but turned around "Mukti, tu Manik, Alya aur Dhruv ko bol de ajane k liye. Mein khana tayaar kar rahi hu." and she finally left.
Mukti eyes shined like stars as she took out her cell phone and sent the same text to Alya, Manik and Dhruv.
'I'm at Cabir's place, you guys come over. We can also practice here. And yes, aunty is cooking :D'

After the jam session have been canceled Alya came home. She was glad it was canceled. She couldn't have concentrated anyways. All along she had been thinking about Manik, Dhruv and Nandini.
Alya was guilty for what she did but didn't plan on saying sorry to Nandini and becoming her friend was out of the question. But it had to be done. For her and Manik.
It was sure that Dhruv has feelings for Nandini, hell he said he loves her. So that was confirm. Now all she needed to do was find out about Nadini's feelings and bring them together. If somehow they were together Manik will back off from Nandini because of his best friend, Alya knew that.
Don't get her wrong! All she is trying to do is save her relationship of seven years with Manik. After all she is also obsessed, oops I mean in love with Manik.
Her chain of thoughts were interrupted by a text from Mukti. And she went to get ready still thinking about Manik, Dhruv and Nandini.

Manik was walking down the corridor looking furious. Their parctice session has been canceled and Manik was absolutely not happy about it. They have a competition coming up which was totally out of their league and canceling practice session at this moment is not something to be happy about.
"How can they be so careless? Why do I have to be the mature one and take care of everything?!?" Manik was muttering to himself as he walked but soon came to a halt when he heard a laugh. He turned around and by the lift he saw Nandini. The sight of her just tricked him off and within seconds he was in front of her looking at her intensely.
"Itna hasne whali konsi bath hain?"
"Huh?"
"Tum abhi hashrahi thi. kyun?" Manik asked raising an eyebrow.
"Aagar hashliya toh kaya huya? Meri marzi mein tum hai kyun bataon?"
There was a noise as the lift door opened and Nandini quickly went inside but Manik was quick too because he too entered the lift. And soon the door closed behind him.
"Tu...tum kyun aye?" Nandini stammered as she realized they were the only ones on the lift.
"Aree aya to kaya huya? Meri marzi, mein tumhe kyun bataon?" Manik mimicked Nandini.
"Huh! Look who is acting so mature now." Sarcasm flowed out of her mouth.
Now he knows what she was laughing at. It's time for pay back!
"So you want me to act mature? Please do tell in what ways, because you will be surprised of what I can do and I promise I won't leave you unsatisfied." Manik winked.
'Did he really just say all those things?!? Ewww...Sick!' was all Nandini could think because she was so shocked by the remark that it only left her mouth hanging open. Speechless.
She quickly composed herself and crossed her arms over her chest, "You know what Manik? I don't give a damn."
Her words seem to act like adding kerosene to burning fire for Manik. His eyes became cold and surprisingly he walked close to the door, whille he said "Nandini...Nandini...Nandini. You should give a damn." and he turn towards the lift's buttons and pressed STOP!
Sure enough the lift was stopped from going downtairs and with it Nandini's heartbeat seemed to stop too. She took a small step back but only to make her back contact with one of the lift's walls. Manik now turned towards her.
"You don't get scared of me. You don't give a damn. It feels like you are ignoring me and let me tell you I don't like being ignored."
Manik was once again in front of her. He placed his hands on each side of Nandini's face so that she was trapped between him and the wall.
He leaned closer and whispered into her ear "I want to make you feel my presence."
Manik's word made Nandini freeze on her spot. She held her breath as Manik's face came closer and his lips brushed her's for a second before his phone went off. He took a step back, dazed and pulled out his phone. He got a text message but instead of opening it he stared at the screen saver. It was a picture of Fab5 but only one face got his attention.
Dhruv.
Manik backed away from Nandini as if a lighting bolt had hit him. He pressed the lift's button and seconds later the doors opened. Nandini was still shocked to move a muscle and without giving her a second glance Manik almost ran out of the lift, into the parking lot and drove away from the college.
