chap 15

"jai beta.." said massi. making jai turn towards the door of his room.. he had pured a drink for himself and was about to sip it when he heard massi's voice.."ji massi kahiye. kuch kaam tha. mujhe bulaliya hota." he said while putting the glass back ... massi went towards jai holding his hand she said"rok lo usse beta.."

jai kept starring at massi confused seeing this massi said"bani ko rok lo jai.. apne app ko itni taqleef maat do. accept it ke uske yaha se jane ke faisle se tumhe dard pohchahe.. manlo jai ke tumhare dil mein bani ke liye feeings hai.. manlo.."

hearing all this jai shutted his eyes tight and turned around"nahi massi aisi koi baat nahi hai..." but massi was not in the mood to listen to all this "fine thik hai manleti hu u dont love her. par uss bachi ka kya jo tumhe dil de bethi hai. uske baare mein to socho tum.."

jai as if matter of fact said"bani ka kya massi. woh mujhse pyaar karti hai usmein meri kya galti." he kept silence for some time and then added".ok fine bani mujhse pyaar karti hai. woh ruk bhi jati hai.phir uske baad kya massi. kuch nahi badalne wala hai.."massi stepped more forward and said"sab badal jayega jai. usse rok lo,bani ko apnalo.marry her.." 👏

jai's eyes wided in shock and he turned around starring at massi "massi.... "massi today had decided that she will make jai agree to this. she couldnt see him suffer like this she couldnt see bani's heart break into pieces like this." ha.marry her. bani mein kya kharabi hai jai. aur waise bhi ajj nahi to kaal tumhe shaadi to karni hi hai. tum sari zindagi aise bina shaadi ke to nahi rehsakte na..tumhe ek din ek sathi ki zarurat paregi jai. manti hu hum sab hai par humme aur tumhari jeevan sathi mein bohot fark hai beta. manlo.."

jai sat down on the bed beside him as if in trance he said"nahi massi. i cant. i cant even think about it. woh mujhse ummar mein bohot chhoti hai. mein uski zindagi.."but was cutted off by massi"uski zindagi kya jai. tumhe kya lagta hai tumse duur rehkar uski zindagi khushiyo se bhar jayegi..nahi beta woh aur tutjayegi.."

seeing his shattered form massi sat beside him and calmly said" beta aisa pyaar sab ke naseeb mein nahi ata hai..bani ko apnale. aur mein tujhe aisa to nahi kehrahi na ke tu usse shaadi uki marzi ke bager kar. tu khud usse puchh. agar woh manakarde to tumhari kasamh mein ajj ke baad tumse is baare mein kabhi nahi baat karungi par agar woh ha kahe to tujhe usse shaadi karni paregi..mein janti hu agar tumhari zindagi mein koi pyaar lasakta hai to woh bani hai. sirf bani.. "saying so she stood up and started to go out of the room.

holding the door knob she turned her face and added"tu apni taraf se bani ko mananeki purri koshish karna jai. tumhe meri kasam.. janti hu iss baar mein tumpe apna faisla thop rahi hu par believe me iske alawa mere paas aur koi chara nahi hai.."saying so she left from there closing the door, leaving jai lost in his thoughts and the words spoken by massi...

he stayed like that for almost one hour going through everything. he was lost he didnt knew what to do . but then he had to come up witha decision. he closed his eyes trying to figure out something but all he could see was bani's blushing face coming infront of him. her dimple smile, her shy glances..he flew opened his eyes .running his fingers through his thick hair. yes he got the answer. he has to do this for him. for massi.and for bani....he stood up and took out his cell from the pocket.dialing someone's number impatiently.............

That night jai couldnt sleep. he kept tossing and turning. it was nuthing new he did that from the previous two nights.. but today it was something different which made him restless. sumthing about tomorrow....

bani also couldnt sleep.tomorrow ..tomorrow was the last day for her in this house. to see Him. silent tears rolled down her eyes, as she caressed his pic and hugged it tightly as if her life depended on it..

Next Day Morning

bani started with her packing as her train time was of 12:00 afternoon.. she gathered all her stuff and throwed them in her bag not even folding them properly. once done she closed her bag and went down..where everyone was waiting for her to have the breakfast except one person Jai.. but then she bitterly thought that was a usual thing now.why do i expect such things from him why...she took her sit and started to have her breakfast although none of them ate anything. they all were sad but then nuthing could be done.even massi was sad she didnt knew what will happen next, yes she had talked with jai. but there isnt any sign of him, he hasnt talked with her since last night...their last talk...

bani tried to act normal. she didnt wanted to make them sad.she acted as if it was her usual day over here.. but soon her time to leave had arrived. she got ready clad in a pink churidar.. hair done ina simple ponytail.. tony came and took her bag from the room and kept it in the car. bani came down she hugged rano with her eyes already moist ."agar mujhse koi bhul hogayi ho to maaf kardena.. " said bani trying hard to not cry .. hearing this rano again hugged her... she touched massi's feet and took ashirwaad and hugged her...starring at bani while putting her hand on her face massi said"beta.. mein.." bani knew what she wanted to say "nahi massi. ismein apki galti nahi hai. shayad mera naseeb hi aisa hai.." and she gave her a faint smile... anu hugged her tightly almost crushing her. "ill misss u bani .keep calling. aur plzzz jaldi wapas ana..." bani smiled "ill miss u too. tumbhi phone karna.."(she avoided the coming back part. she just didnt wanted to give false hope to anu).

bani's gaze couldnt help but just search for someone. but like always HE wasnt there. her tears which she had tried best to not let them flow had finally rolled down to her cheeks ..ajj bhi....she thought. ranveer who was standing at the door waiting for her said"woh subhase kahi bahar chalagaya hai.phone bhi switched off hai" he knew whom her eyes were searching.bani lifted her tears filled gaze towards ranveer and gave him a faint smile...bani didnt want others to come at the station. so it was only ranveer who will drop her at the station.with this the two left from there not before bani hugging everyone one last time.

all the way to the station bani kept quite but her tears were still flowing and ranveer knew the reasong why. for the first time in his life he wanted to slap jai.hit him for making this young girl go through these much pain...reaching at the station ranveer took bani's bag from the booth. reaching inside they saw the train had already arrived ranveer took the ticket from bani and started to look for the seat number...while bani was casually looking around montionless.. but then she saw someone steeping out from one of the wagons.her eyes popped wide in surprise .was it her shobhana aunty.. she blinked her eyes twice to make it sure and yes it was her. but..but what was she doing here.in surprise she held ranveer's hand yelling"shobhana aunty.." and almost dragged ranveer with her towards her aunty..

shobhana was still going through the station to find someone she knew or the one who had called her but then she saw her bani her face lighted up with a smile and they both hugged each other.. ":shobhana aunty app yaha.. i mean .oh my god.. i m so happy to see you." said bani in surprise.. and then breaking from the hug bani asked"par app yaha kaise.. i mean meine apko parso phone kiya tha na ke i m coming back phir app yaha..?"

shobhana patted bani's cheeks and said'arre ha beta par kaal shaam ko jai bete ka phone aya tha.usne kaha ke tumhari ticket kisi wajahse cancel hogayi hai.isiliye tum anahipawogi.aur yeh bhi kaha ke tum mujhe bohot miss karrahi ho isiliye mein hi yaha ajawu.. usne to raato raato apne kisi dost jo Mt abu mein rehte hai unse kehkar meri ticket bhi karwadi .mein to raat kohi train mein bethgayi thi..aur abh dekho mein tumhare samne hu..arre yeh dekho jai bhi agaya.."bani was listening to all that shobhana was saying and she was surpised so was ranveer they were like jai did this but before they could recover or say anything else shobhana said jai is here so they both(ranveer and bani) turned around to see him..

bani's mouth had opened slightly by seeing him. he looked so different. that unshaven look was gone. no dark circles as well. all she saw was him glad in all black. his velvet black shirt with top two buttons undone .hair all gelled up well. she just kept looking at him as he went past her and bended to touch shobhana's feet flashing his husky smile"welcum aunty. safar mein koi takleef to nahi huwi na.." shobhana placed her hand on his cheek and said'arre nahi beta koi takleef nahi huwi.."jai turned towards ranveer who was starring at him still shocked .jai so wanted to laugh at his facial reaction right now but he refrained doing so and all he said was"ranveer you take shobhana aunty home in your car while ill take bani. i need to talk with her thik hai.."ranveer just noded while shobhana all smilling didnt notice bani's shocked expression as she took her out of the crowded station towards the cars with jai following them with a smile playing on his lips...

ok tell me how was it. no chappals and jhootas plzz like i had said jai didnt stop bani. arre he just called shobhana over here abh unhe dekh kar bani doesnt go back to Mt Abu toh usmeine jai ki kya galti😆
