When it rains it pours
When passions lay exposed they flow ...

SWATI this ones for u ... hope this does justice to ur expectations

It was a celebration of being in love .. it was a celebration of the ultimate expression of undying love .. it was the celebration of togetherness .. it was the celebration of marriage ...

It was the Marriage Anniversary of Bala & Vandu ... Ishita's perfect man ... & did the perfect man err ... Yes he did .. he forgot their anniversary ... & who was there to help him .. it was RAMAN ... the knight in shining armor

Through the 2 days only 3 people were aware of the fact that Bala had forgotten the anniversary .. Bala, Raman & Ishita ... well no one else needed to know .. Bala the perfect man erred .. & whats more he was saved by RAMAN ... Ishita Bhalla .. concentrate on the clues your man dishes out .. he is desperate to be your knight in shining armor ..

Ab ke sajan Sawaan mein ..

Aag lagegi badan mein

Ghata barse gi magar tarse gi

Nazar mil na sakenge do man .. ek hi aangan mein

The season of rains ... a time when hearts itch to come closer .. a season for romance .. the wet rains the cold shower .. all alluding to the ultimate romance moment ...

Ishita & Raman .. in their room sharing a moment . she is tying his cravat .. they share a moment together .. her hands on his torso ... they look deep into each others eyes .. but reality is a noisy room outside full of their relatives .. Emotions churn .. they swell .. but are ebbed ... Cause even in a secluded room they could not find themselves alone ... They both carried their baggage there ..

They join the others .. each aware of the other .. it was a darkened room ... corners were strewn with people .. they moved to a corner together .. once again looking for a quiet niche ... when the lights came back on .. & the surprise was to be delivered ...

They had set to surprise but were surprised ... his past & her nemesis walked in tall ... waiting to rain on their parade ..

Do dilon ke beech khadi kitni deewarein

Kaise sunogi mein piya prem ki pukarein

Chori chupke se tum lakh karo jatan

Sajan mil na sakenge do man ek hi aangan mein

Truly the love story of Raman & Ishita have the most no. of people acting as villains .. Param, Shagun, Ashok, Suraj, Simmi .. phew thank god for Amma the cupid

But if u relate the above words with the love story what u get is amazing clarity .. there are so many people .. so much past .. so much unsaid between these two that how will they ever hear the others heart beat

Ishita first relates the Accident incident as her most "touching moment' .. lets pause here a moment ..lets go back to the episode ... who said this was not about romance ... she used the word .. TOUCHED MY HEART .. RAMAN .. all in one sentence ... surprisingly .. Raman was still quiet ... but bolta kya bechara .. biwi ne bolti band kar li thi ... the moment she says Raman touched my HEART .. Raman looks up at her ... she is still looking down ... but after a moment she looks up & looks directly in his eyes ... The words heart ... dil was being talked about now .. yes she could cloak it how much ever she wanted with "CARE" ... But this was romance ... a soft subtle romance ... it was her saying ... her heart had opened up ... & he was creeping in & making a place for himself there ...

Just earlier in the evening ... She had said .. "MEIN KHUSH HOON" ... the very question he had asked the first time he spoke about her past .. today she answered that unequivocally ... she told him she was HAPPY .. her heart was getting involved ... she was opening up to LOVE ...

BUT in between these 2 hearts lay a lot of thorns ... Shagun opens her cans of worms .. she speaks about a romantic moment she had shared with Raman .. not only does she speak about the gesture .. but she goes on to talk about a INTENSELY PRIVATE MOMENT BETWEEN A MAN & WIFE ...

Lets pause here ... while bala spoke about a kiss too .. he spoke about a moment when he first discovered that Vandu was his soul mate .. it was the moment they decided to marry ... while Shagun spoke about a moment which was a moment shared between a husband & wife ... a private moment .. where a man caresses his wife's body ... BUT to a woman for whom a MARRIAGE VOW was not sacred .. how could an intimate moment BE SACRED ...

Through the initial episodes we were shown 2 things in YHM one Shagun's belief that Raman was not over her .. we also as viewers felt Raman was not over Shagun ... & secondly .. Shagun always believed she was the lucky charm in Raman's life ... she & Raman both believed that ... Even when he hated her betrayal he alluded his success to her betrayal .. making her responsible for everything that happened to him ..

Tonite .. he really let go of his past ... He delivered a very BIG SLIGHT to Shagun.. he called her APSHAGUN .. the BAD LUCK Of his life ... if that narsiccitic woman could spare a moment .. she would realize .. how much SHE HAD NO AFFECT ON RAMAN ... the place of void which was his heart had now been filled .. his heart was now in the safe keeping of his doctor wife ...

Itne bade ghar mein nahi

Ek bhi jharoka

Kiss tarah hum denge bhala ..duniya ko dhoka

Raat bhar jagaeygi yeh mast mast pawan

Sajan mil na sakenge do man ek hi angan mein

A shattered Ishita lay there looking towards the floor .. trying desperately to ebb the flow of tears ... she was hurt .. she was wounded ... once again her insecurities came to the fore ... she was in her mind HALF A WOMAN .. she was unable to incite Passion in a man ... Her husband as recounted by that woman sitting in front of her was a deeply passionate person ... but where she was concerned .. yes he CARED ... but she was unable to INCITE PASSION in him .. a woman who was rejected by a man .. cause he did not consider her GOOD ENOUGH .. today her insecurities came tumbling to the fore .. once again her wounds were laid bare to bleed

In that room full of people .. they all felt embarrassed .. they all felt angry ... But no one could understand how mortally wounded she was ... what the BLOW of Shagun's actually did to ISHITA ... but then there is only one person who is capable of seeing so deep within Ishita ... her husband .. RAMAN ...

He uses the excuse of dropping Bala to take Ishita for a drive ... to take her away from bitter memories ... & oh well just to show her .. he to could romance ...

Or rather he was very romantic .. but he did not always express it ..

The rains lashing on their car they stop to take shelter .. when he asks her have u ever danced in the rains ...

Lets pause here for a moment ... what a ques .. Writers please take a hug on this ..

What is he asking her ...

One .. is this a moment u have shared with SUBBU? .. how subtly he brings a question of whether he is recreating a sad memory ... the man who wants to be THE MAN .. is wanting to give her a memory ... WHICH IS SOLELY THEIRS ...

Second ... have u ever realized what it takes to dance on the open roads in the rains ... well it means letting go of ur hang ups & inhibitions .. letting urself go .. So raman asked her ARE U READY TO LET URSELF GO ... ARE U READY TO LET UR INHIBITIONS LIE ASIDE ... R U READY TO EMBRACE "US"

Wasn't this the most superlative message wrapped in a simple ques .. have u ever danced in the rain ... ??

Tere mere pyaar ka yeh saal bura hoga

Jab bahar aayegi toh ..haal bura hoga

They step out in the rain .. & the first thing he does his HUGS HER to him ... there was no better way for him to communicate .. I AM THERE RIGHT BESIDE U .. I WONT LET U GO ... U TAKE PRIDE OF PLACE IN MY LIFE & HEART ...

& then the dance of Passion begins ... they let themselves truly go ..

The rain pelting on them .. the music throbbing in their veins .. he holds her from the back . caresses her waist .. keeps bringing her closer & closer to him ... Slowly sips from her shoulder ...

He gives complete reign to his passion .. & finally she is in the moment with him ... the passion is truly throbbing in her now as well .. whats more she is feeling alive ... She is feeling cherished .. she is feeling desire ...

They part .. & then he comes up to her .. looks deep into her eyes ... the rain pelting on them .. they are taken back to a moment ... when he first said I LOVE YOU to her ... it was a similar night . they were in the middle of a road .. that day to passions were on the rise .. passions of a different kind .. when he had whispered those words to her .. the silent communication ... alluding to that moment ... then he walks closer to her .. cups her face .. he looks into her eyes .. she is lost in his .. at that moment .. she became the FULL WOMAN .. she WAS ISHITA RAMAN BHALLA .. she was a WIFE . she was DESIRED .. SHE WAS COMPLETE ... SHE WAS ACCEPTED .. SHE WAS HIS ARDHANGANI ...

Pause here a moment ... Did u not think why Raman did not kiss her .. he clearly desired her .. she would not have minded it .. .this was a moment done for passion .. then why did he not complete the task ...

Cause tonite was not about PASSION AT ALL .. it was for HEALING ... & LETTING GO OF THE PAST .. Raman had just let go of his .. & today he made her let go of hers ... The WOMAN WHO DID NOT THINK SHE WAS A FULL WOMAN .. a girl who did not want to marry cause she felt she had nothing to offer a man .. a woman who thought she did not ATTRACT .. today .. all her inhibitions were laid to the way side ... today she FELT DESIRE .. today she KNEW DESIRE .. today she NEARLY TASTED DESIRE ...

But while they have taken these momentous first steps in love ... its still early days in their love lore ... this is the first moment of LOVE for them .. they have had intimacy . they have had desire .. but they have never had a moment of love ... & today ISHITA wanted to FEEL LOVED ... & FEEL CHERIsHED .. & FEEL DESIRED ... the only person who could see that was RAMAN .. her husband ... & he delivered that in spades

Now note the BG score .. & if u can please note when the words .. PAL PAL BADHE YEH HAI MOHABBATEIN comes on .. note the leads expressions at that time ...

He slowly releases her face & steps away from her .. he goes to his car .. rests his hands on the car his face bent .. trying to get his overflowing emotions under control ... she turns to face him .. he turns to face her .. they share a look & finally he smiles at her ... there was no hiding from this ... they were in that moment together .. THEY BOTH WANTED THE OTHER ...but she was not ready for this intimacy ... He acknowledges that .. his smile alluding to .. U CAN RUN BUT U CANT HIDE ANYMORE ... but but but .. PUTTAR .. biwi does not wish to hide .. hence she looked right back into ur eyes ...

YES she wanted this moment .. today she got her special moment ... a moment when after a long time in her life she felt >>>> WHOLE , DESIRED, ALIVE , LOVED & CHERISHED ... All thanx to THE MAN .. her husband .. mr. Khadoos no more ...

The next morning they rub balm to the others aching self ... while she rubs it she is mesmerized & stares at her hands rubbing his flesh ... He is mumbling .. & she says >>HO GAYA >.. truly ho gaya ... she is in love .. & all thanx to Param who nudged the thot in her ,, the man desperately trying to break these 2 apart .. actually pointed out the biggest thing to ISHITA .. how much she cared to be THE WOMAN in her man's life

They come to the breakfast table .. where she who is still in the euphoria & bliss of the night before blurts out .. she had her KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI moment last night .. she tries to hide her face .. but whats the use .. they lay totally exposed to each other last night . there was no need for barriers anymore ..

He stands up .. with a teasing smile on his face he tells her KEEP THIS BETWEEN THE 2 of us ... THIS WAS SACRED to them . this was their first moment of Love .. it was for them & them alone ...

PAsue here for a bit .. in my last post I had written how Raman was pissed about the fact that Ishita spoke to Mihika about his sensitive side .. a side reserved for Ishita alone ... a glimpse reserved for Ishita alone .. well lets add another thing to that list ... This moment .. this PASSIONATE ... this LOVING side of Raman's was only for ISHITA .. not something he would like to be with anyone ...

Kaant lagayaega yeh phoolon bhara chaman

Sajan mil na sakenge do man ek hi aangan mein

The precap .. it was interesting .. Sanjana blaming Raman for the break up of Mihir & his sisters relations ... Was she wrong .. while he not to be blamed .. but he was the cause of Mihir's break up with his sister ... right ?

Hey Ruby awesome post as always.
Something kept me awake last night and what do you know I surf IF to tackle my insomnia and see your post 😛 so yay I am happy to be the first one on it again

coming to the title now - Oh I love this song and the movie... its a playful song that speaks about longing and desires and what is so amazing is it is sung in the presence of family on screen and the couple is playing hide and seek in a way amidst all of them I can't even rem the no of times I have seen this movie and still can do... ok enough about them 😆

Now coming to the episode - I wanna say this Sonali Mam take a bow - that is one of the best, THE VERY BEST episodes I have seen on TV in terms on writing when it comes to our shows... need I mention the dialogues, the screenplay, the perfect and I mean absolute perfect song selection and of course the acting ☺️ ❤️

I love how this show is tackling this concept - of a marriage of convenience - between two very battered souls with such maturity here.

Their journey started because of Ruhi - a child in need of love of her parents. A woman who needed a child married a man who couldn't love his own flesh and blood because of his own trauma...his own bitter past... losing her almost shakes him so completely he realizes - he DOES love his daughter, the man who had cut himself completely from emotions - locked his heart - realized he isn't immune to every emotion - for one still persists - that of fatherhood, which makes his heart beat and keeps him alive.

A lovely quote I admire is actually adequate to surmise this couple' story here -

The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother. John Wooden

The marriage made Raman and Ishita parents - mother and father to Ruhi... but it didnt make them a couple, spouses - lovers... not until their journey really began, which was post their vows.

It started its journey when innocent Ruhi asked her Ishimaa a question when she saw her father maltreat her - too young to even understand what is happening or what happened - but perceptive enough to see and comprehend the woman who loves her unconditionally has been hurt and wronged - and by very man they both are bound too. The woman who made her happy is somehow in tears and the little girl cannot take it... she stands up to her dad for her maa and asks her later when they are alone - par pyar toh dikhta hai na Ishimaa? Aur aapka aur papa ka dikhta nahi... the mother replies their love is visible in their little girl making the girl ask again - would this be enough, would I be enough for you and the woman who was still to hurt, still afraid to come out of her shell - replied yes. Your love is enough for me.

That is the first jolt, the first wake up call and awakening of Raman Bhalla towards this marriage - the woman who is now his wife when he hears his naive child - learns how it is breaking her heart and wounding her already bruised and battered soul. He realizes he cannot take this marriage, this woman for granted - stomp on her heart and NOT expect any repercussions for the same. He vows to change his ways - to be a better father, a better man, one his daughter would look up to and be proud of. And how can he do that - by repenting, not repeating his mistakes and by accepting - yes the woman who is the mother of his child is also his wife and they are married.

He starts doing things for her, takes efforts and finally gives her space in his cupboard... a very small one. Ruhi again asks her Ishimaa papa gave you only this much space - and she says I only needed so much - bas itni si hi jagah chahiye thi mujhe... she merely needed acceptance then - as a person, as the mother of his child - not as his wife or a woman he need love.

Care takes root so what comes next - trust.

A man - a monster tries to pry on her - his lust for her amplified when he learns the couple is only living a facade... he tries to molest her, she escapes from his clutches but not his trap - she is declared an immoral woman, now a man who has faced infidelity - who once had accused the same woman in a similar way gets another jolt and trusts his gut that tells him - the woman who is his wife, the mother of his child cannot be this, isn't this and he fights for her, for them.

His act establishes trust among them and also serves to make them realize - that their differences allowed someone else to do this to them, to dare do the unthinkable. They started coming closer as a couple - started behaving as a unit rather than sole entities whose lives run parallel but are on the same course. They learned this cannot be allowed to happen again ever.

Next comes a major leap - when he asks her would she always stay by him, stay with him unlike a woman who deserted him - publicly at that. They dance and while she is too hurt to have her heart in it, she doesn't brush him aside and he wipes away the tear he made her shed.

Post this an accident happens and their lives change - he steps up in her family and takes charge of things... makes it known to her - Amma bolta hi nahi maanta bhi hoon... and she is touched.

Another cementing block to their relationship but of course it has to bear its winds too and so in comes the factor when he has to change course and stand against her and all those with her - their families, now united as one...

He errs and she forgives but what is important is - he asks her to be his strength - he leans onto her for courage and support when he finds himself all alone and on a wrong road.

Next comes the part when they learn to fight for one another instead of each other. He sacrifices a valuable position for her and she fights for him... they learn to defend each other but that defense comes because now there is a sense of belonging - a sense of ownership - which is why he says Meri Biwi Ke licence ke sadke main aisi hazaaron presidency kurbaan... she says Main unhe Mere Pati ka naam kharab karne nahi doongi.

They now truly consider each other as their own - Mere.. Meri - Mine - comes into play... in any other aspect the word denotes selfishness... in a relationship - it stands for possessiveness. says I can't and wont share... this person is mine and mine alone.

Somewhere along this time they also turn friends.

There is care, respect, concern, friendship, protectiveness, but something still lacking - as told by the younger siblings MiMi....rishta adhoora hai.

What could be the next step in this marriage now - intimacy, passion, desire, love - in a word ROMANCE.

Their first brush with intimacy happens when he sees her in an intimate act, where despite her being fully clothed he is unable to look away from her - something that catches them both unawares, unplanned as he wakes up to her - literally and metaphorically.

It finally makes him notice - Ishita the woman.

They both however are embarrassed as he runs and she hides her face.

Next is again a moment unplanned for them as they soak in the showers. This time she touches him in an intimate manner and its her first caress upon his body, on his skin and he is unable to mask his reaction - something which stuns her too... to see this raw desire in his eyes FOR HER but she is still not sure - if this passion, this desire is for her because she is in the moment with him or because he feels she is special to him...whether its purely a physical moment or is there any emotion involved from his end for her... which is why she never blinks, she never shies or looks away.

In his eyes she searches that emotion which makes her know - she and ONLY she is responsible for this - Ishita and not just a woman.

And so comes the moment of truth.

Various couples gather and share their moment of romance - the KKHH moment, when someone became more than a friend, someone became more than just your partner on paper and for the world at large - someone became special to you, someone made you feel special in the way they perceive you.

She is asked and cannot answer for sometime making her sister prompt.

The woman shares how her husband is a very caring man and giving, the fact he put himself before her touched her heart...she has found more in him than she hoped, somewhere she is thankful for that. This is more than she had dreamed off their marriage.

The younger sister chides and says you overlook all my jiju does for you - what you narrated was care and not romance. She explains he is an unromantic man incapable of those gestures - she hasn't stirred anything in him which says she affects him, he finds her special - finds her as a woman he desires and craves.

For all his goodness and kindness - her husband DOESN'T love her.

And he hears it... learns his silence, his gestures while finding a place in her heart haven't yet earned him a place where he is special for her, to her and what keeps her from doing that - he himself... he hasn't ever shown to her not beyond those moments where he is stunned speechless she is a beautiful woman he craves.

And of course who can shake the foundations of that very fragile woman - the woman who once ignited the man they both happened to be with albeit at different times of his life. She brought out the romantic in him, she was someone he adored and desired.

The woman shares a moment of unhibited intimacy they shared long ago in what can be assumed as a public place - trying to show down her rival... that what you are unable to do to him in the privacy of a room, behind a closed door and in between four walls I could do to him regardless of the place.. when he saw me, he craved me and forgot the world.

The man obviously doesn't like it - to him the moment meant something. The sensitive man didn't like his emotions of his past, ones he cherished being made a public spectacle and only to show down his wife in their own home, especially when the woman said he made her heart flutter always... the same heart which wasn't satisfied with his love. He says times changed things with him and when the woman mocks him saying with her romance left his life he agrees - and says romance went out the window as did many inauspicious things in my life with you.

He leaves the room shattering glasses - that depict his emotions and heart - the dual wounds inflicted upon him by two women of his life - the present one' perception of him being considered a feelingless man and the cruel joke made by another for whom he was ready to lay the world at her feet.

He knows which one of them is important though - which he needs to ignore and which needs his attention... it further reaffirms his belief - she stayed silent tonight because I haven't given her that moment which can be termed as ours, it made him recognize again why and how this woman who is his current wife could bring his ex home and put her in his bed no less...because the woman doesn't KNOW what he feels as he has NEVER SHOWN it to her.

Hence he asks her to accompany him, notice his words when he does that - mujhe waapas kaun laayega? Who would bring me back?

The me in question - a man who once knew how to love, to desire, to cherish, to crave and to belong someone as much as to possess someone... he belonged more than he could possess and hence lost himself along the way, now he needs to, wants to come back though - for her and who could he ask for help BUT her.

Unsure how to go about this he stays quiet on their ride back until her request gives him an opportunity as an idea, an inspiration strikes him.

He asks her if she dances - she doesn't get where he is going at until he steps down and asks for her to match steps with him - asks her he wants to find out if he really is as snobbish - khadoos and insensitive - whether he really is incapable of finding his passions again.

He creates a moment, their memory - a first for them as a couple - something solely theirs - something new to both of them - as he finally sheds his inhibitions and makes her shed hers.

"Dancing is a vertical expression of a horizontal desire." Robert Frost

He takes her hand and immediately brings her in his arms, a move which takes her by surprise hence her widened eyes as her head lands on his shoulder - he unravels her bun, setting her locks free - those very locks he always mocks and asks her to keep tied up...he wants to set her free...and in the process loose himself in her.

They start their dance but she is still uncertain, unwilling initially as she feels he is doing this purely to show her something - his heart isn't into this - he isn't into her... its pity and not passions at play here..

The words echo as he once again goes towards her - holds her by the shoulder this time - a gentle yet firm touch instead of holding her hand... and finally this time around he holds her, brings her close to him, eliminating the distance between them as he nuzzles her and when she reciprocates by holding onto him, by wanting to stay in his arms he has a wide smile on his face.

Koi nahi.. tere siva mera yahaan
Manzilein.. hain meri to sab yahaan
Mita de sabhi aaja faasle
Main chahoon mujhe mujhse baant le
Zara sa mujhme tu jhaank le
Main hoon kya?

Their dance ends and he almost kisses her, almost, but stops since he sees - this is surrender to the moment, to this rain filled passionate moment, this dance but not him. And he doesn't want a compromise, he doesn't want a moment but a lifetime with this woman. But that is still a distant place and so he walks away.

This moment purely about making a breakthrough happens. It is what makes Ishita say she needed this moment tonight, somewhere she needed to believe she hasn't surrendered to a life where there isn't even the faint hope of love in it.

Somewhere she needed to know - as a woman - she is desirable, beautiful, capable of being seen as someone who might make a man want her. That her barrenness which has always been something that made her undesirable to so many including the man who loved her for the better part of her life isnt really what defines her.

They wake up the next morning with cold...both equally affected by the rain, both on equal grounds finally though still not in the same place.

He calls her a doctor and she says thank god I finally became a doctor today - we made progress...from dentist to doctor... could this writing be anymore brilliant?

Apparently it could be and is when she nurses him and is unable to help herself as with this touch, she remembers their moment of the night past and it really affects her she can touch this man now, as her own, as her husband. Her hands apply balm to his throat and even his chest.

When he gets up to apply balm to her she denies, refuses and finally gives up when he is adamant to nurse her...

He starts off without any hiccups only once he realizes that he has rubbed balm on her throat... he cant go any further as he has yet to touch this woman as his wife in an intimate manner, touch her like a husband can when aiding his ailing wife, without any worries or apprehensions even intimately, especially intimately.

He runs off to take a bath and next they are at the table where he puts the blame on her for their sickness, blatantly lies to his mom as he teases her but admits with a wink and a smirk- he started enjoying getting drenched too as he looked at her.

Who knows apart from these two what happened? No one... so yeah he admitted he LIKED dancing with her, getting drenched with her...the man reaffirmed - he is just as affected right now with the moment and it is special to him as well making her have that slip of tongue - as she admits she got her KKHH moment.

Something he wanted to hear again so much so he stood up.

Only she wouldn't say it and hence he says - don't share this with the world now, its only for us.

Something which makes me love this couple - their really important moments are their own - private - whether it is when he broke down and owned his son is a culprit, she revealed his daughter is his or tonight' dance. Something which also assures her again - this was for them, not for anyone else or for a story.

He leaves the place without having the glass of milk meant to cure his cold as she drinks it - is it any wonder then tonight she gets the wind knocked out of her as she learns her husband may have had someone else apart from his ex in his life.

Once again she would be made to question her femininity, her worth and desirability in the eyes of a man she thought only needed time and space for healing as he nurses his battered, wounded heart. It would make her think he could move on from the woman who is his first love, the woman he madly loved and find another... but when it comes to her... she would never be enough for him, never would be she someone he could love or desire as a man does a woman.

Her ailment, the aftereffect of the rain cured.. while he would still be carrying those with him, unaware of things changing once again against him, against them - just when he thought he was finally finding himself again, finally getting to a happier place and this time around with a companion, who would never desert him, who would be his partner in every manner possible for all his days to come.

PHEW!

Beautiful is all I can say for ur post 😆 beautiful song too.

It all started with Raman breaking the glass n breaking Ishitas misconception that he is still pining for Shagun when he said he is over the biggest upshagun in his life. 👏

Shagun was really really required in todays epi, unless u sort out the misconceptions how can a couple proceed in love? N i also loved what Param told Ishu after Shagun drama, he surely is d best Ishra cupid coz Amma gets Ishra physically closer but Param gets them emotionally closer 😉 i m sure she mustve got hurt coz of Shaguns words but she was more hurt by Params ghee in already bhadki hui aag. 😊

I am glad he didnt kiss her in the heat of Passion. 👏 raman being the man is well aware of his emotions n Ishra as a couple need to sort out hell lot of things before proceeding physically.

If it was a just a couple in love they might have but this is a couple in marriage. Marriage shows u the worst side possible of ur spouse. I have had a love marriage n I have known my spouse for a long time before marriage. But but but still there r so many things that still amaze me. 😉

So Ishra is a couple in a marriage n they need to understand n accept hell lot of things before coming to terms with physical needs. Yes being adults they can anyday have sex n get over with it but wud it be as satisfying as when they have emotional bonding as well?

Obviously there will b constant growth in the relationship even after u hv emotionally bonded there will b ups n downs 😉 but in Ishras case who have such huge emotional baggages of past that it will take time to heal. N today ya this healing process started. 😳

For the first time I could see that they r trying to work towards their marriage n need to take it to next level.

In license track it was more about identities than emotional connection, Ishita is my wife she cant face failure professionally I need to do something. Raman is my husband he cant give up president ship I need to do something. Both understood that thry loved their career equally well n worked hard to help each other out.

Beautiful post dear just beautiful, loved the forget ur inhibitions part 😳

But the moment of the day for me was he told her to not share their special moment with any body else...ufff...Raman again proved that he's absolutely possessive about his ishita 😳...

I am not too worried about this Sanjana crap...also that actor really needs to step it up...she's is bad

Ruby,

Can I just say that the episode, the moments, are not complete for me without your beautiful description and analysis? Simply brilliant!👏

What a beautiful flow of sequences..couldn't have been more perfect..Bala and Vandu's marriage anniversary..a celebration of love, of companionship, of togetherness..Ruby, loved how you pointed out how Ishita's perfect man erred and was rescued by non other than HER MAN, her knight in shining armour..never thought about it that way..truly wonderful!

Everybody was happy..each couple was sharing their most romantic moment, cherishing their togetherness..among all the couples was one couple, Ishita and Raman..while happily married for the rest of the world, this was one aspect of their relationship where they had a huge bridge to cross..they were put on the spot to relate their most romantic moment, they were the newest wedded couple, after all! But both exchanged blank and awkward looks..Ishita relates a moment in her life that touched her heart the most..Raman's selfless act, NOT for Ruhi's sake, but for Ishita's sake..a huge, sacrificing, selfless gesture..

She innocently covers up Mihika's remarks by pointing out Raman's temper and insensitivity, saying the man is incapable of being romantic.. Shagun as always in her own bubble, announces how wrong she is, and that Raman was the most romantic husband in the room..she relates one of their private and most passionate moments..and Param does what he does best, adds fuel to the fire..

Ishita's insecurities come flooding back to the fore yet again..she is once again made to realize her deepest fear, of inadequacy..she does not affect him in that way..he cares about her, trusts her and respects her, but there is no love, no passion, no desire for her..and Raman understands this, realizes that only he can put her insecurities to rest..

You have explained the whole rain dance so beautifully, Ruby, I couldn't have said it any better.. The whole sequence was so perfectly choreographed, the song selection was perfect..especially loved these lines -

Koi nahin...Tere siva mera yahan...Manziley hai meri toh sab yahan
Mita de sabhi aaja faasle...Mai chaahu mujhe mujhse baantle...
Zara sa mujhme tu jhaankle..Mai hoon kya...

They both are in the moment, passion overflowing..all he wants to do is to hold her, to kiss her..but he stops himself..this moment was not about his feelings, it was about her, to break all her misconceptions that she is not beautiful as a woman, that she is not capable of making a man desire her ..she really needed to know that...and hence her monologue that follows..

She opens her eyes, and finds herself alone..she is confused, looks around for him..did she not affect him, after all? She turns around and sees him..searches his face for the answer..he smiles at her..and she smiles back..she got her answer...beautiful moment!!

Morning after, they are back to being this bickering couple, hiding behind their word-wars..last night they had shared a moment, and they do all they can to bring normalcy in their behaviour with each other, but they can't ignore the physical awareness between them..

Loved the scene at the dining table..when his mom asks about their condition, he tells her it was all Ishita's idea to play in the rain and teases her, but then admits that he, too, enjoyed getting wet...and smirks at Ishita..they exchange a look..a smile..

"Dheere dheere bheegne ka mazaa tho mujhe bhi aaya"..

That was their own private moment..that was the best moment for me..his acknowledgement that he enjoyed the moment as much as she did..

She was elated! She couldn't erase that smile off her face, couldn't wait to tell the whole world that she had experienced her "kuch kuch hota hai" moment with her dear husband! Knowing her well, he tells her not to announce this to the whole world, saying some moments are best kept personal..

"Ab is moment ka dhindora saare shahar mein mat peet dena...Kuch moments aapas mein hi achche lagte hai..."

"Yaadon ka kya...nayi ban jayenge..humari...tumhari aur meri..."...We shall make our own memories together, you and I...This was their first step towards it..

loved it...the episode..their moments and how you explained each moment and gave a perspective to each unspoken communication betwween the couple ! Yes RKB is very much in tune to what his JKR feels...and now took their relationship to that 1st step of building their own moments of love.

take a bow👏

I have never missed any of your posts right from the ipkknd days when I used to be a lot more active and I actually search through the topics to look for your posts each day ever since I discovered your post on this forum.

I had to absolutely add my two bits too ..as I loved Raman's slow smile and the admonishment from him to keep this moment to themselves...as well as your post.

For me the question have you danced in the rain was a link to thinking have you had this kind of moment before but I did not consciously think subbu's though that was implicit...Idon't know if I'm being clear here...point is that you wrote that out beautifully...but what apart from the sheer passion of the dance was the slow smile he gave her and she felt that...her expressions before that ..after she opened her eyes and didn't see him in front of her and made her seek him out..his unblinking stare changing into that slooow smile was the kkhh moment for me
And yes Raman was the cause of mihir and his sister breaking up...only she will keep ishita thinking that she is the sister and not shagun right upto Mimi wedding for maximum impact
