GL EXCLUSIVE: FAWAD KHAN IN MAULA JUTT?

We have been hearing a lot about Bilal Lashari's Maula Jutt lately. The project is highly anticipated, thanks to the mind-blowing success of Waar, and there have been a bundle of rumours surfacing from time to time regarding the star cast of this mega budgeted project.

An interesting one made headlines a few months back when it was reported that Noor and the troublemaker Gullu Butt had been finally stamped by the ace director Bilal Lashari. Bilal, however, denied all these Chinese whispers and said casting was under way for the Maula Jutt remake, and that no one in particular had been finalised for the lead yet.

But our sources at Galaxy Lollywood now confirm us that Fawad Khan, not very far from now in the past, was approached by Bilal Lashari for the Maula Jutt project and there have been serious considerations between the two regarding the film. Yes! Fawad Khan...for Muala Jutt... Fawad, who is busy in India lately with his Bollywood projects. Fawad Khan and Bial Lashari even met in Bangkok few months ago, of which Ahmed Ali Butt, who was also present there at that time, shared a picture on his Facebook account.

But, on the low side, one of our sources suggests that Fawad is finding it extremely hard to manage the shooting dates of Maula Jutt in his schedule as his endeavors in India are currently occupying most of his time.

Well, we hope some miracle happens and the dream combination of Bilal Lashari and Fawad Khan somehow manages to set our big screens on fire.

For now we would say, stay tuned to this space for more updates.
