Vidushi exited her hostel room and went strolling down in the open to get from fresh air. She selected a secluded spot near the college basketball court and sat on the steps of the court. She inhaled swiftly taking in the air, feeling a chill down her spine due to the harsh Delhi winter. She cursed herself for forgetting to put on a stroll or jacket over her pyjamas and she started rubbing her arms. "Who the hell is this?" asked an angry tone of a guy which she instantly recognized and said "Its Vidushi" replied Vidushi in a stiff voice to which the voice said "What the hell Vidushi? Why are you sitting here like this at this time of the night in this cold weather? You are blocking the entrance so get off." "Shut up Randhir. This is the college property and I don't need your permission to sit anywhere so don't order me around. And you are asking me why I am here but what about you? What are you doing?" asked Vidushi in an irritated tone to which Randhir replied "It's none of your business Vidushi and if you don't want to get off then scoot over and make some space for me to sit." Vidushi pondered over such a change in the guy's attitude in fraction of a second and then let it go as she thought that the poor guy is pretty much shaken up from Sanyukta's betrayal. They both sat over there for few moments in silence comfortably as none of them needed disturbance and both of them needed solitude when Randhir took off his jacket and placed it between them which Vidushi accepted and wore gaining heat and warmth from him or rather his jacket. They both just stared at the sky and the moon and the stars but never each other, not even a glance or nod in each other's direction. The next evening both of them returned around the same time when Vidushi returned his hoodie jacket. Both of them enjoyed each other's company in complete silence as none of them tried to start random conversation like old friends or small talks like complete strangers. God! You have no idea how happy this made me. I love Randhir and Vidushi as friends.And the silent understanding between them was described beautifully!

They continued to ignore each other completely in the day time in classes and in lab but continued to do this little ritual of meeting under the blanket of the sky for about two weeks but none of them even bothered to get in to formalities or courtesies like Hello or Goodnight. This was not some romantic liaison but a comfortable companionship between to like people but strangers in the real sense. They silently came to their spots, sat there for an hour or two and then left in complete silence. Both of their roommates found their behaviour strange but none of them bothered to ask them about their disappearance at mid night for couple of hours- Randhir's because of fear and respect to his privacy and Vidushi because of indifference. Yup. Can totally see this happening😃 One evening Vidushi missed their daily dose of solitary companionship making Randhir worry for her. He texted her the next morning when Vidushi was working as Assistant and was dismantling a motor with Parth for the first year students in the Mechanical Lab - "Are you okay?" to which she replied back "Yeah I am fine. Just exhausted from working double shifts." After few moments her phone buzzed "So are we on for tonight?"to which she just smiled and replied quickly "Yes" In any other scenario, I'd get gutter thoughts.I wish Parth had seen the texts. Actually, it 's good he didn't. . Parth saw this out of the corner of his eyes, disgusted to see Vidushi smile at her phone contently like a cat seeing cream. He was angry seeing a conniving thief smile after making so many people cry and worried for their things while she was still happy with no ounce of remorse on her face. He decided to wife off that smirk of her face and making her miserable as the rest of this world. Typical Parth. He'll never change na?How can he ignore the opportunity to make Vidushi cry? It's his obssession. Look at Vidushi. be angry to see her happy. Fix that (Make her cry)That evening when Vidushi walked down to "The Spot" she didn't notice someone following her. She was early today so Randhir was not there while Parth found a spot to hide behind a tree left side from the steps from which he could see Vidushi waiting for someone. He nearly leapt out from behind the tree seeing Randhir strolling down to where Vidushi was sitting. Randhir sat next to Vidushi barely acknowledging her but fainting registering her comfortable presence. Parth saw them sitting on the steps just being and sighing in between the noise of some crickets. After few seconds Randhir turned around and asked Vidushi in a faint voice "Why did you post that invite on the notice board?" to which Vidushi replied in her same old position of staring towards the moon "I wanted revenge from her for exposing my truth in front of the college and humiliate me." Randhir pondered over her honest reply for few seconds and then replied "Thank you. Not for taking revenge from Sanyukta and not for stealing but for opening my eyes and helping me realize what a fool I have been." That made Vidushi startled and turn to face Randhir who was now staring in front and she asked in shock "You are not mad at me? I mean you got hurt because of me. I won't say sorry just for sake of it because frankly I don't feel remorseful for exposing her lies because even I could see she was fooling you around for the sake of that stupid Dream Team. But I will say sorry for the hurt and humiliation you felt because of me when you saw that notice board. I never thought something like that would happen on her engagement and for you to get hurt and beat by her family. For that I am truly sorry." This was what I wanted. Sorry in Vidushi style! Beautifully written Shreya! Proud to be ur friend!!! And extremly happy to be able to read such emotional, beautiful work!😊 Randhir sensed the sincerity in her apology and said "Even though I don't like you much and think so low of you I feel you are the only person who has been honest with me. That's what I like about you Vidushi you never apologize to make someone feel happy or just for it even if it's your fault. You apologized to me because you genuinely felt remorseful which surprises me because you have done some things worse than this. I forgive you because you are the only person who have not bubble wrapped me or defended Sanyukta in front of me although I know that it's because you don't like her. I don't care you lie, beg, steal or cheat and neither I care for their reasons. All I know is I see me in you. People may call us evil, villain or vamp and even the devil themselves but what they don't know is they made us like that. Always remember Vidushi never apologize to someone unless you really feel guilty. Vidushi never let your guard down and let someone in and close that they feel they have power over you. Remember Vidushi people may call you arrogant bitch, cold ice queen but never let them see you weak and vulnerable. Never truly trust completely not even your family or your closest friends because they are the most likely to hurt us." This was excatly what I was craving for . Go girl! I want his to happen so bad! Randhir but it beautifully. They are the same. Misunderstood, arrogant and hopelessly in love with someone who doesn't appreciate them fully! They both sat completely still in a pregnant silence and after taking few deep breaths Vidushi asked Randhir in a low voice "What if it's too late?" to which Randhir replied "It's never too late to back down and save yourself from eventual heart break. Love is for fools like Sanyukta, Kuastuki, Jiggy and even Parth but not for people like us. This world never truly accepts us with our flaws and forgives our past mistake to give us a second chance. I know this. Learn from my mistake and save yourself because no one will ever really accept us for ourselves." Yes!! Again this was. My. Wish. Randhir telling her not to repeat his mistake. Loved the love is for fools part. It's true. Ppl don't see past flaws and mistakes for Vidushi and RD!

Vidushi remained calm on the surface but a storm was brewing her inside making her rethink about what she was doing with her life and Path. Deep down she knew that each and every word Randhir said was correct. Parth will never accept her let alone love her. He hates her. 😭 This was a much needed realization!👏 Vidushi got up with an inner turmoil hitting her to the core when Randhir asked her from behind "See you tomorrow?" to which she just nodded and left.

Parth couldn't believe his eyes or trust his ears to testify for what he just saw in front of him. Randhir and Vidushi? Friends? He slapped himself and even pinched to confirm that this was reality and not a dream or more of like a nightmare. He had to tell someone before he went crazy. He could just think of one person who would have the same problem with this happening as him- Sanyukta. He shuddered at the thought about what will happen to them if two of the most evil forces shook hands and becomes friends. Hell would descend down on Earth if two negative energies decided to destroy the positives of the world. He thought of friendship between the most unlikely duo of Vidushi and Randhir- Friendship? Maybe or maybe not. He could never let that happen for the sake of his peace of mind and for the peace of this college. Hell would freeze before he would let Vidhir happen!!!

I hate Parth right now! Who is he to judge Vidushi and Randhir as negative energies??

And he will not let Vidhir happen? What will he do? Lock Vidushi up again? Keep an eye on RD 24x7? I need to read more of this Babe!

So I will probably receive bashing for writing on Randhir and Vidushi but let me tell you guys this is not in any way a romantic angle on them because that will make me puke myself but this OS explores about their chemistry if any friendship or bond might happen between the. Some people might complian why am I not writing Vidarth and no kisses in my story???😆😆😆but that would have been impossible for me because at this stage Parth don't even like Vidhir happening...Some people might bash me for coining the term Vidhir like Sarth but calm down people. If you don't like this and my efforts please bear with me and complian if you want. I will be wearing imaginary helmets if some of you decide to throw stones, tomatoes or eggs on me😆😆😆
