Usually I don't read any FF or SS of any forums. But it just happened that I got obsessed with Saahil, started looking for SS (obsessive much?)
Thank god I started reading yours and man...you really blew my mind away!!! The way you described their feelings are impeccable! It's like I'm watching QH episodes, literally!

Gul should seriously consider in hiring you as one of the writers. (Mind you, I'm not the type who easily gets impressed and Mandy you've did the impossible)

Keep up the good work and do continue writing in future. 😉

Hey sorry my college opened this week so I was crazy busy lol Read ur last two parts in between my class breaks lol ;) loved Tera Hi Bas Hona Chahoon, in fact I wrote an OS inspired by the song too. Aahil's accident always has good results lol poor guy... His pain gives us romantic scenes ;) lol but I felt bad when he told Sanam to leave even though it hurt him so much! And Rehan always unknowingly creates MU's! Like I adore him but his timing is bad lol Loved the cream applying scene (sounds weird lmao) and the last line "when I look into ur eyes... i can almost believe" makes me so impatient to read the next part! Update soon! Love how u create romantic scenes and emotional ones. Keep writing cuz ur a great writer and I always looks fwd to ur updates :)

Can you e-mail Gul and ask her to give me a job? Of course I will have to work remotley coz I live in New Zealand! :)

Thank you so much for the compliment, and I am very touched. Even I was looking for SAHIL stuff to read and there really is not that much around. So I decided to write my own. Since Arnav and Khushi, no other couple has got me this much. I loved ASYA, but they didnt have the "Junoon" that SAHIL have! They have taken it a notch up!

"...Excactly same thing happened with me too. Since Arnav-khushi, no other couple made any impact like this. Frankly speaking i didnt liked ASYA at all. But SAHIL had definitely made a huge impact...And ur OS , i am enjoying it more than the GUL version...

Part 14 - "Yaar Na Miley Teh Marjawa"

"Tu hai lajawaab, tere jalwe hazaar...Mera bhi pata hai, main na maanu kabhi haar...Teri meri duniya mein be-hisaab pyar...Main hoon ek Angel aur Devil mera yaar..."..."Mainu yaar na mile te mar jaawan...Mainu pyar na mile te mar jaawan..."

"When I see that look in your eyes...I can almost believe..." he said huskily.

"What?" Said Sanam dazed.

"That what you told me in the hospital is true!"

"You still don't believe me?" said Sanam.

"No...I..." Aahil was stuck for words.

Sanam stepped away from Aahil. He didn't believe her. So what was the point of kissing her then? Probably just giving into the moment. She should have realized he would not just suddenly believe her. But she still felt miffed, that after she had kissed him like that he still didn't think she loved him. After all, she stayed at the hospital with him even when he told her to leave. Since he got back he has been acting like a petulant child and she's been indulging him. But still he thinks she is "pretending?" "Well you did tell him that you were only with him the other night coz you were curious about sex Sanam!", she told herself. Yes, she had said that, but that was before all this happened. Before he told her he loved her and she had told him she did too. Surely by now he must know that she wasn't with him out of curiosity? That she had wanted him as much as he wanted her?

She turned around to leave when she felt herself being stopped. She turned around and looked to see Aahil was holding the end of her dupatta, which was pinned to her shoulder.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked huskily.

"Since you think I am pretending, what is the point of me staying?"

"Maybe, I need to be convinced? Why don't you show me?"

"How?" said the ever obtuse Sanam.

Aahil pulled a bit more on her dupatta till she was inches away from him. He then put his arm around her waist and pulled her back against him. Her back was to his front. He bent his head and murmured close to her ear.

"Oh... I am sure I can think of a few ways!"

Sanam could feel the heat creeping up her face. Aahil could see her cheek turning pink and gave a small smile. Damn, but she was so cute. With that rose color in her cheeks she practically looked edible.

"Aahil... you just came from the hospital!"...she protested huskily.

"So? I bumped by head and got a few bruises, but other than that, all faculties are working fine baby!" He whispered.

Sanam blushed crimson at the implications behind his words.

"Aahil... you are not totally well...you..."

"I didn't see you worry about that just now when you were kissing me?"

"Excuse me? YOU kissed ME!" Said an indignant Sanam.

"Yeah...and you kissed me back! And HOW...?" He said with a smirk.

Sanam blushed even more if that was possible. He started to nuzzle the side of her neck.

"Mmm...you smell really good..." he murmured, before nipping the spot where her neck meets her shoulder..."and taste sort of peachy!"

"Aahil...the door is not locked!" she whispered.

"Who cares? We are in our room Sanam!"

"That's right Aahil. This is Sanam. Not girl from haystack. I DO care if someone walks in on us!"

"Smita...NO...Simran...that was her name. Simran with an 'S'..." he said with a laugh.

Sanam could barely see for the red haze that covered her eyes suddenly. She was mad. How dare he laugh about that incident? It was bad enough she had to be subjected to it in the first place, and now for him to joke about it...?

"I am not interested in knowing the names of your conquests Mr Aahil Raza Ibrahim!" said Sanam coldly, as she pried his arm away from her.

Suddenly Aahil was not laughing anymore.

"Sanam... I'm sorry. It was just a joke baby...I..."

"I'm not your baby!"

"Sanam... come on...Sanam...!" He said as she started to walk away. He reached the door quickly as she was about to open it, and blocked her way.

"Come on Sanam...I'm sorry I joked about it. But you brought it up. It meant nothing baby. None of it did".

"Whatever Aahil. I don't want to talk about it. Please just get out of my way".

"Sanam...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. Since you brought it up, I just saw the funny side of it. It all happened before I met you baby. It's not fair to hold it against me now"...he said, and Sanam could hear the element of pleading in his voice. But she was suddenly overcome with emotion. The last 3 days had been a roller-coaster of emotions for Sanam, and suddenly this intense feeling of jealous anger she felt was more than she could take.

"I don't care what you did before you met me. I don't care about any of it. Just get out of my way!", said Sanam icily.

"No", said Aahil and trapped her against the door. "You have to hear me out. I know I have not been perfect. But before I met you, I didn't know I could ever feel this way about anyone. I never thought I would fall in love. Those girls have nothing on you baby. You're special Sanam. Non of that ever meant anything beyond a fleeting fancy. It's not the way it is with you. When I'm close to you...I can't even describe the way I feel. It's like I'm lost in you. You're more than just beautiful Sanam. Your fire and ice both at the same time. You do things to me that I don't even have words to describe. I'm crazy about you. You have to believe me baby!" he said hoarsely.

Hearing what he was saying was turning Sanam into mush. The look in his eyes, and the tone of his voice told her that he was desperate to make her believe that she was not like the others. She did believe him. But she was angry at the same time. HE refused to believe that she loved him, but she had to believe everything that he says?

"The same way you believe me?"

Aahil looked at her and he was lost for words. She did have a point. He refused to believe that she loved him, so why would she believe him?

"That's what I thought!" said Sanam. He had moved one of his arms away from the door where he was trapping her and Sanam stepped past him and opened the door and walked out.

"Good one Aahil!" He gritted his teeth. "Just perfect!" A totally meaningless encounter was a thorn in his side now. How could he make her understand that it had been more about bravado for him than sex? If only he knew the future love of his life was going to see him, he would have run a mile before going anywhere near that bloody haystack! Looks like he will never live it down! Aahil punched the door with his fist in frustration, for a minute forgetting his injured state!

"Aww...!" he said involuntarily as a pain shot through his arm. "Damn this pain!"

Sanam was walking to the kitchen in her angry haze. She knew she was being silly. Aahil had apologized and he had also told her all those amazing sexy things, about how special she was to him. She had not wanted to show him how effected she had been by his words, so she had quickly left. She flushed when she remembered the way he was looking at her when he said that he was crazy about her. She was crazy about him too. But of course he didn't believe that! Let him stew in it for a while, thought Sanam. Know how it feels to have your sincerity questioned!

She thought she should cook something. Other than cleaning, that was the next thing that calmed her down and helped her de-stress. These days, she didn't get to cook as much, as she was officially no longer the cook of the house. She had a lot of things going on since she had taken on the role of "Choti Begum", and it seems that it was no longer a temporary role. This will be her life from now on, coz she knew she could never leave Aahil. He loved her, and that was clear. He needed her, and that was even more clear.

She realised how different he was from what she had initially thought him to be. He was a pretty emotional guy. His feelings ran deep. He got hurt so easily, coz he had a big heart. At the start she had thought he was just this arrogant guy with an attitude problem, who just liked to play the field, and drink too much. She didn't even think he had a conscience. But now it's clear he did. There was so much more to him than met the eye, and you had to spend time with him to see that. When he had been sulking earlier, he was so cute. Even though she had pretended to be irritated by him, she had found his petulance quite endearing. It seemed like he had not had the chance to be spoilt by anyone. After all, his family members had forgotten his birthday? His 30th birthday at that. Well if she had her way, his 31st would be a very much more memorable birthday than this one.

She thought she would make some Kheer. Aahil liked that too. She got her ingredients and she was getting things together to start making her Kheer. She then realised that she didn't have any sugar in the container on the counter. There had to be sugar in the cupboard. She looked on the lower level where she used to keep it, and it was not there. She opened one of the cupboards above her head and realised the extra sugar container had been put there.

"Yeh Latiff bhi na...!" she told herself. He must have put it up there. Why couldn't he replenish the container below when it ran out? Probably too busy from putting on face packs to maintain his "Chui Mui" figure! She could not possibly reach that without a stool. So she took a stool and stood on it. As she was reaching for the sugar canister, she stumbled on the stool. She started to slip, and suddenly a pair of arms caught her.

"Rehan...?"

She involuntarily put her arms around his neck to steady herself.

"Sanam...are you ok? What were you doing on that stool?"

"Yes. I'm fine. I was trying to reach the sugar canister. Latiff must have put it up there!"

"You should have called someone Sanam. If you had fallen and sprained your ankle or something?"

"Don't worry Rehan. I am fine!", she said smiling.

Rehan lowered her to the floor and she put a hand on his shoulder to steady herself.

"Thanks Rehan!"

"No problem!" said Rehan as he turned to leave.

"Rehan...?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you get me the sugar before you leave?" she said with a smile.

"Yeah of course. I can't always be here to rescue you can I?"

"Yes...you're a Knight in Shining Armour Rehan!"

"This Knight is always at your service my lady!" Rehan said with a mock bow!

"Lucky me!" said Sanam laughing.

Rehan reached for the sugar and put it down on the counter for Sanam.

"Thank you Rehan!"

"Anytime!"

Saying this Rehan left the kitchen. As he left from one side, there was someone else who had been witnessing this whole scene from the other entrance.

Aahil had come downstairs looking for Sanam. He had deliberately given it a bit of time, so as to let her cool off, before trying to talk to her again. He had to make her understand that she was the only women he ever wanted now. The only one he had ever wanted this way and ever would! He was insanely in love with her, and he could not lose her. Yes, he had told her that he would set her free. But after coming home from the hospital and the way she had indulged him and how they had kissed, had convinced him that there was something here from her side too. She had been jealous after all. That is why she had lost her temper. He smiled to himself. He had been right. Sanam was fire and ice. One minute she had been on fire in his arms, and then she had been breathing ice on him about Ms Haystack. There was never a bored minute with her. He realised that no matter what he had said, he could not stand the thought of not having her in his life every day. So he had come down to talk to her. He looked around the hall and when she was nowhere to be found, he had come to the kitchen thinking maybe she had gone in there?

As he was about to walk in, he had seen Sanam and Rehan. Rehan was carrying Sanam in his arms! He had just been so stunned for a moment that he had not even been able to react. Then he realised that he had caught her when she was falling. But through the red haze of anger and jealousy he felt, he had not been able to think or react logically at all. Every fibre of his being screamed his displeasure at having Rehan so close to his wife. His love. He suddenly realised what it felt like to want to just tear someone apart. Even if it had been another guy, he would have been displeased. But this was way worse. Especially because this was Rehan. Rehan who had been in love with Sanam. Who was probably still in love with her. Sanam knew this too. She said she loved HIM, not Rehan. He was just a friend. But every time he turned around she was spending time with him. Giving him importance. Sharing things with him. He had heard the "Knight in Shining Armour" comment, and it had hurt. So REHAN was a Knight? A monument of chivalry. What was HE? A Batameez Philanderer? It was ironic really. Considering HE was the one who saved her life. Twice! But Rehan was her "Knight!" Suddenly Aahil could almost barely breathe. This was IT! He HAD to do something about this. He can't let this one go. He turned on his heel and stalked out of the kitchen before Sanam saw him. He had to find Rehan. This was going to stop today!

He walked towards the hall and he saw Rehan walking towards the garden. He followed him. He remembered another night he had followed him to the garden and seen him confessing his love to Sanam. From the way Sanam had reacted to him saying Rehan loved her, it seemed like she had had no clue regarding his feelings? But was that really the case, or had she just pretended to him? Was she pretending now? His mind was spinning and logic was fast leaving his brain. He saw Rehan look up at the Moon! Was he searching for the face of HIS beloved in that Moon? HIS Sanam? He would be damned if he let him!

"REHAN!"

"Aahil Bhai... Aap Yaha Iss waqt? Shouldn't you be resting?"

"You know what they say Rehan... there is no rest for the wicked? Not all of us can be Knights in shining armour like you?"

"Excuse me?"

"NO. I will NOT excuse you Rehan. Not this time! This time you crossed your limits!"

"What are you talking about Aahil bhai?"

"I am talking about MY wife! I am talking about the fact that you can't stay away from my wife God dammit! THAT is what I'm talking about!"

"Aahil bhai... yeh Aap kya kehere hain he?"

"PLEASE don't give me that! You know bloody well what I am saying! Every time I look around, you are with her. Do you think I'm blind? Or do you think I'm a fool? You think I can't see what you are doing?"

"Aahil bhai...lagtha hain apki tabiyat Theek nahin hain? Do you even know what you are saying?"

"Yes. I know very well. What do you think Rehan? That if you bide your time you will get another shot with her?"

"Aahil bhai... you are really crossing the line now!", said Rehan angrily.

"Which line is that? The one you are already on? Do you think I don't know that you are still in love with MY WIFE?"

"OK. Lets say... that it IS true? What does it matter to you? Why do you care Aahil bhai?"

"Are you on crack Rehan? Sanam is MY wife. Of course it bloody well matters to me if another man has designs on her!"

"Is it because she is your wife that you care, or because she is your love?"

"So you know I love her! You KNOW? And you still don't give a damn and act like you can try your luck with her? Tell me.. did she give you any indication that she shares your feelings?"

"That is a question you should ask Sanam, not me!" said Rehan in anger as he stalked off.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean? Rehan... Rehan!"

Aahil angrily called out to him, but he didn't stop! What the hell was Rehan talking about? Aahil was so angry he could barely draw breath. Ask Sanam? Yes he would ask Sanam all right!

Sanam went into their bedroom with the Kheer she had made. Finally it was ready. She tried it, and it tasted just like her Badi Ammi's Kheer. It always took her back to her childhood! It was such a great comfort food!

Aahil was sitting on the white couch. He had his laptop open, but he looked like he was staring into space. He looked angry? Yes, but more like still? What was happening? SHE had been the one who was angry when she had left the room? So why was HE looking like this? She put the tray with the Kheer on the table in front of the couch and sat on one of the cubes in front of Aahil.

"Aahil...I got something for you. Have some Kheer. I know its one of your favourites!"

She extended the bowl towards him and suddenly a hand came up and instead of taking it from her, he just flung the bowl away from her hand. Sanam stood up from the shock of it.

"AAHIL...?...WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?"

Aahil stood up too, and faced her.

"Why don't you give this Kheer to your Knight in Shining Armour Sanam?"

"WHAT?"

"Don't act innocent. I saw the two of you. In the kitchen. He saved you from falling and you were so busy complimenting him for his chivalry that you didn't even realise I was at the door!"

"God Aahil... What is it with you? How many times do I have to tell you Rehan is just a friend?"

"What is it with YOU Sanam? Cant you see that he considers you as more? Do you know what he told me when I asked him if he is waiting for you? If you have ever given him any indication that you have feelings for him? He asked me to ask YOU! Ask you! Is there anything you need to tell me Sanam?"

"I cant believe you are actually asking me this question?"

"Why are you acting so shocked? Are you shocked your boyfriend let the cat out of the bag?"

"My... what? Your insane!"

"Yes I am. Insane for thinking that you actually felt anything for me. I came looking for you, to tell you that I BELIEVE you Sanam. That I believe you Lo...", he just could not make himself complete the sentence. Aahil closed his eyes, and his breathing was shallow. He looked like he was struggling to get the next words out of his mouth.

"Aahil...it's your mistake. You..."

"Yes it IS my mistake Sanam. I gave you a piece of myself you could break! THIS is the reason I used to just have meaningless flings. At least when they ended it didn't hurt this bloody much! It didn't hurt at all!!"

Aahil took a deep breath.

"You know what...? If this is what you really want... if Rehan is who you really want... then I will let you go Sanam. I got a call from the lawyer just before. Ironic really. He called to say the property docs are ready to sign. So I guess we don't have to wait the whole three months. The transfer will happen in 3 weeks more likely. Then I will set you free, so you can go to him!". Aahil didn't even know how he had completed that sentence. Each word he uttered felt like it was stabbing his heart. But if she didn't love him, then there was nothing else he could do. He had never forced himself on anyone in his life. He can't start now!

Sanam was staring at Aahil like she could not believe what she just heard! Had he really just told her that he would set her free so she could go to REHAN? Sanam suddenly felt something snap inside her. How dare he tell her that she can go to another man? How DARE he accuse her of WANTING to?

Sanam walked over to Aahil and grabbed him by the collar with both her hands.

"What did you just say? I can GO to Rehan?"

Aahil was too surprised by what Sanam had just done to react. Was she really holding him by the collar?

"I have had enough of this! I DON'T love Rehan. Nice as he is. He is just a friend, and that is all he ever was and ever WILL be! I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU, and have been for ages! Only I didn't even realise it, leave alone admit it to myself! But at the moment I don't know WHY I should love you,... considering you're stupid, blind, and won't even listen to me!"

Aahil was stunned by what she had just said. He stared at her dazed. Did she just tell him she was in love with HIM? Not Rehan?

She let go of his collar and was about to step away when Aahil reached out to her with both his arms. One arm went around her waist and his hand rested on the base of her spine, the other under her hair, as he held the base of her neck. He used the momentum to draw her close to him.

"Care to repeat that?" he said huskily.

"Which part...?"

"You know which part!"

"Your blind and stupid"...she said looking straight into his eyes..."and I LOVE you. I love you Aahil. ONLY you!"

Aahil groaned as he bent his head towards her and took her lips in a searing kiss. Sanam's hands went around his neck and she pressed herself closer to him. Aahil just tightened his grip on Sanam's waist. Neither knew how long they were locked in that kiss, until they had to part due to lack of breath.

"SO... still think I'm pretending?" Sanam breathed.

"When my Ice queen full of fire kisses me like that? NO"! He said, and took her lips in another kiss. Once again, they had to part due to lack of oxygen. Sanam just crumpled against him. Nuzzling her nose against the hollow of his neck. She pressed a kiss there.

"God Sanam... do you know what it feels like to know you really love me? To think a few minutes ago, I thought I would have to let you go!"

"You will never have to let me go Jaan. I'll never want to go. Ever!"

"What did you say?"

"I'll never want to go!"

"No. Before that. What did you call me?"

"Jaan!" she said smiling against his skin.

"Am I?"

"Yes! Jaan se bhi zyada chata hu main apko Aahil!"

"I love you so much Sanam. Don't ever doubt that!

Aahil bent down to lift Sanam up in his arms.

"Aahil... Are you crazy? You can't carry me. Your arms...!"

"Ok then. I won't carry you. But at least I can lift you? Make sure you keep your arms around my neck baby!" said Aahil as he laced his arms around her waist and lifted her off the floor against him. He walked towards the bed with her and slowly lowered her onto the mattress.

They had their arms around each other and Aahil bent down and placed a kiss in the valley between her breasts. Sanam's fingers went into the silky locks at the base of his neck as she gave a little moan.

He moved his mouth further up and started to nibble her neck.

"Aahil...!"

"Yes... I will lock the door!" he said, and got up from the bed and reached for the remote on his bedside table. He pointed it to the door, and they both heard the little click.

"Happy?"

"Hmmm... you talk too much. Less talk. More action!"

"Why you little..." said Aahil as he pounced on Sanam. She started to giggle until his lips closed on hers.

"Mohabbat bhi karke dekhi...Kya paaya woh kaise bataaun...Dil ka aisa aalam tha ke...Dard-e-dil kisko sunaaun...Haan main hoon tera gunahagaar...Mat dohrana tum abki baar..."
Mainu yaar na mile te mar jaawan...Mainu pyar na mile te mar jaawan..."

OK folks! The confession and kiss and make up done! Now let me know if you want to read an Epilogue. If I get enough response I will write it! Very very late here, so I am out.

This took WAY longer than I expected to write. Have a full day tomorrow. Let me know what you think! Hope it was worth the wait!

Cheers

Mandy

The END??? How did that even happen...?

Hmmm...

BUT, omg I loved it!

I mean, I don't really need to tell you how much, right? Because I think my comments speak for themselves?

And best part for me in this update?
:

"Aahil..."

"Yes... I will lock the door"! he said, and got up from the bed and reached for the remote on his bedside table. He pointed it to the door, and they both heard the little click.

"Happy"?

"Hmmm... you talk too much. Less talk. More action"!

"Why you little..." said Aahil as he pounced on Sanam. She started to giggle until his lips closed on hers.

Two idiots, supreme - but they're lovable idiots, right 😳

And yes please, I will take an epilogue hun - soon, ok?

And soon after that, another story?
