Sometimes, when things have to go wrong, they really go wrong! For Kanchi Kaul, Saturday was one such experience. Not only rains, the actress's car too decided to have a flat tyre! Recalls Kanchi, "Arzoo (Govitrikar) and I were returning back home after a late night event around 4 in the morning when my car got a flat tyre near Andheri station." Usually, Kanchi has her driver with her but this time, unfortunately, she had decided to drive her car. "Both of us were very scared. There were shady looking men around at that time. There was a penknife inside the car and I sat with it in my hand. Arzoo was laughing at me!" says Kanchi now with a laugh herself.
On top of that, Kanchi realised that she had left her credit card somewhere, so she was tense about that too. "I was trying to get the card blocked but nobody was picking up the phone. Finally, I managed to get it done," she says. In the meanwhile, Kanchi rang up her place and got her family members to arrive there with a mechanic. "By the time they fixed the tyre and we got home, it was 6.30 in the morning!" she adds with an exhausted sigh.
On the workfront, after Ek Ladki Anjaani Si on Sony, Kanchi has not signed any other daily soap. "Comitting to a daily soap is a huge responsibilty and after Ek Ladki... I will not do anything which is less that excellent. No cameos or character roles for me," she says.
