Hi Mansi, thanks for a positive take after so much horror we witnessed. Here is my take on the episode which I also posted on another thread

I do believe Jalal was justified but justification does not negate the fact that it was cruel murder. If it were not, it would not have gone down in history the way it has. It was barbaric not because of the times it was executed it, but coz it was so unlike Akbar. This emperors stood the test of time not because of "Khuaf e Jalal " but because of his tolerance and compassion, more so towards his family.

Coming on to jodha, does Jo not meet expectations of being Jalal's begum because she was scared and called Jalal's act kroor, did one expect her to be "okay" with it because she is a Rajput?

If so lets let's address her two traits - being compassionate, and being a Rajput herself.

Firstly compassion is not a switch that one can turn on and off, it is indeed a very rare quality, which unfortunately only gets appreciated when you are at receiving end of it. So by calling a murderous spectacle of dard naak Maut(which Is exactly what Jalal wanted it to be) kroor, she is simply putting in words what every single witness of the act thought of it. And i personally don't find calling a spade a spade wrong, or unbecoming of a queen.

Secondly, being used to of the blood shed as she is a warrior process. Even Jalal was horrified to see dead bodies during harem war - does it make him any less brave? No. I don't think any civil human being irrespective of century gets used to of blood shed and death, we may subdue our senses and make ourselves immune to suffering given our circumstances, but at some point or the other humanity does prevail in us - that's what makes us human, and once we embrace humanity, it is difficult to go back to our pragmatic and take it in our stride ways. Look at Ashoka the Great, he was as ruthless as they come, but once he found solace in peace and forgiveness, there was no looking back. So we can't say she is being unlike a true rajwanshi -did rajwanshi's not value life?

Just because someone is used to seeing murder and bloodshed doesn't mean they have grown immune to it, right? That's what we have to learn from what we see!

I will absolutely hate the CVs if they WRAP this up fast. They absolutely should not, this was such a landmark turning event in Jalal's life. We have to be able to see the reactions in detail of every person who this affected. Jalal, MA, Javeda, HB, Jiji Anga, Jodha just to start. It is going to be totally mind churning and I hope they do not wrap this up with lollypop scenes of crying.

Jalal did not just lose Adga Khan and Adham and MA - he lost last bits of his childhood completely. We should not forget Jalal is a young man, for him MA was his mother, Adham brother and Adga Khan the father figure he depended upon and trusted.

I cannot get over the look in Jalal's eyes - after killing Adham and addressing the awam - he was numb. Like brain on auto pilot where he is taking in the words of others but his mind is somewhere else. Yet to come to terms with a single event of this horrific morning.

He just obeyed HB blankly, not a single thought in his mind about MA. Seeing her ask him questions and talk about Adham brought bit of Jalal back.

I am wondering did he take in all the words MA spoke? Did Jalal realize that the woman he worshiped, the woman he put on such a pedestal, who he loved more than he loved his own mother - did not love him as much, never did.

MA kept talking about Adham being her guroor, what he means to her - was Jalal finally rid of the last vestige of hurt and pain at her betrayal? Will he realize that he loved MA far more then she ever did?

This realization should finally liberate Jalal from feeling any last vestige of guilt about MA and Adham. He certainly gave her more than she gave him by way of respect, love, protection, affection - everything a mother has to give to child.

Will Jalal then finally be rid of the guilt? After this hopefully only the compassion and kindness for MA and Javeda might remain - which are part of his personality.

I think maybe Jodha will be be shaken to see this Jalal, like he had told her once that if she sees him in battlefield she will not be able to recognize him. Jodha's reaction might bring Jalal out of the zombie like state to realize what he became and what he lost.

I wholeheartedly support every single word you have written here,, Maddy!👏👏👏👏👏

Fabulous post. I am still remembering your yesterday's post. Bang on both of them. 👏

Bravery is NOT LACK OF FEAR but OVERCOMING the fear.
In war one is facing the enemy and has no feelings for that person involved most of the time.

Unlike Mahabharata - where even Arjun could not come to terms with fighting his own relatives after what all they had done, that he put his bow down.

Does loving someone means do it blindly? Doesn't everybody have a first, second, third, fourth reaction to a shocking event. If someone has seen bloodshed does it mean they get used to it? Especially a woman who has understood what war means but might not have seen all the gory details of it.

mansi yday episode was one of the best episodes in ja...electrifying,magnificient performances by rt,ashwini,chetan...👏
i loved episode so much bcz of these three amazing actors or else it wud b difficult to watch violent scenes...i was actually having dine at that time n cudnt eat aftr seeing adham death...almost he was thrown five times making his whole body crushed...it was very painful n cruel death...somewer i felt pity for adham from last two episodes as maham is main culprit for adham to grow lik this..even maham admitted this yday...im feeling bad for javeda as she is one innocent soul but she is the ultimate sufferer... not only adham death scene but also jalal talk to awaam by lifting adham looked deadly scary with blood oozing from his body n falling on jalal face...i almost felt lik puking aftr those two scenes...
I cudnt understand y cant hb take jo inside?y r they witnessing adham death?jalal shud hv killed adham with sword atleast the impact wud b less...see salima inspite of getting shocked she came to senses n took rahim inside...i expected hb to do same with preg jo...alas it dint happen...todarmal came atlast n told them to go inside wen evrythng got over...
Maham love for adham was seen yday wen she fainted seeing javeda in white dress...she stil cudnt beleive that adham is no more n got that the blood on jalal body is of adhams..she pleaded jalal to keep adham in jail so that his life n also jalal life wil b safe...she poured out evrythng abt adham n her mistake to negelct adham in childhood n motherly love for him...
regarding precap i know very well abt our cvs...they wil not leave any chance to copy scenes from ja movie..same thing happned in movie wer jj talks abt it...they wil show here also adding sme more masala to it...so i expected precap scene before itslef... y cant jo b scared or go away from him...by seeing jalal look in precap with blood all over his face n body even todarmal n other men wud hv got scared... the way adham death happend any one wil get shock so as jo...she got shocked to the core seeing this...agree jalal needs jo shoulder but that doesnt mean jo shud b ever ready to give him as she herself is in shocked state wer she also needs smeone support...actualy i cudnt understand y he came to jo...he dint even see atgah till now... did he come bcz of guilt that he gave painful death to adham?or did he come to cry for atgah death??

how wil mahamanga react to jalal aftr knowing abt adham brutal death?wil she become ill n die lik in history or cmeup with sme nasty plan...
