SC is also crap and has been for months. Leads are not given too much screen time and other parallel leads are also in focus so Gauti should be able to manage both atleast for sometime..

Some SC actor did mention SC is ending mid September. Not sure if its true.

Edit - dunno if Mishal is still doing SC though because Gautam's character is not dying. And Mishal was supposed to be next lead against Jen.
