I just can't wait to see him in the revenge thriller by Raghavan where he's out of his comfort zone as well as ABCD 2 where he's in his element. :) I actually really liked his character growth in SOTY. He was the only one who showed growth in terms of character (from the douche to the jilted lover to the rebellious son, to the ambitious student.) whereas Abhi and Shanaya pretty much stayed the same tone or if they were supposed to change then they didn't do a good job at all at the transition. It's a shame the film in entirety wasn't great that I can even go on about how he excelled in that role but he nailed each and every part of it IMO. :)

I always felt that Varun is the total Hero package. He can act, dance,he's quite a looker, great sense of humor, and so on. I just wish more people realize that and I'm pretty sure they will when ABCD2 and his thriller with Raghavan comes out.

Even during soty, Varun was the most praised by critics out of the three. It really feels great when he's getting so much appreciation again from not only the audience but critics as well.

Yeah, he checks most if not all the boxes for a hero :) I also wished that more people realized that. I hope he wins them over with his work. I'm hooked on for life though, that's for sure.

I wasn't sure about Varun-Alia's comfort level when HSKD happened but then I rewatched interviews, saw the KWK episode, realized their closeness and I loved Highway, 2 States and MTH so much that I was SO AMPED for this film. I can't believe it's come and gone Chamku 😭

I kinda felt Alia-Varun are really close even during soty. But definitely became closer with hskd. I don't think there's another pair like them in btown right now. Their level of comfort, their nok jhoks and everything is a class apart from the rest. Now you're making me senti as well. No more interviews 😭 no more varun and alia. Dude, Varun's expression when Alia again let out their secret. That she gives varun really good massages. Senti hone ka time hain baba... sirf Faridoon ka interview hain shayad and maybe pics of success party if Karan throws one. Phir no more Varun-Aloo for long. But it was a great journey yaar :) She also mentioned massages on that Karan show... and she was like: "Arrey... nahin nahin.. it's not sensual" but by that time, Karan took it somewhere else and Varun was already blushing 😆

So true. In a recently IV i've seen varun feeding Alia a samosa. Too cute for words. Oh really. Naughty karan 😆 I know..I know...I fangirled so hard when she said this and rated varun a 10/10 as a kisser. 😆

Yes. It was the cutest thing EVER. He fed her the samosa first before eating it himself And then she ate during the entire interview 😆 And then this one women sat down I think... and Aloo stopped mid-sentence and was like: Kya hua? And the lady was like: No, I'm fine. Just tired... and Aloo was like: Arrey bhai, koi inko samosa do... she was offering her one from the tin and she also offered the others later as well 😆❤️ And when the reporter asked her to say something about Shaandaar, she said: "You're looking very shandaar tonight" 😆😆

''Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'' was expected to take good start at box office and film has exactly done the same. As we explained in our earlier reports, film had buzz due to lead pair. Film released across 2200 plus screens.

Film was super in Delhi/NCR and East Punjab but film was below the mark in Mumbai city, Nizam and central India. Film grew in evening but it could have been slightly better. Film was affected by rain and ''Laibhaari'' wave in Mumbai/Maharashtra.

Film collected close to 9.02 cr nett on day one which is very good. This is highest day one collection for Varun Dhawan after SOTY and ''Main Tera Hero''. But film remained lower than ''2 States'' and ''Gunday'' comprising similar sort of actors.

Film jumped big on Saturday and collected 11.25 cr nett. Film was better across the board on Sunday and film collected big 13.45 cr nett. Film has collected 33.70 cr nett plus over weekend which is highest for Varun Dhawan and 2nd best for Alia Bhatt after ''2 States''.



Film was equally good on Monday and held well across the board except central India. Film collected close to 5.78 cr nett on Monday which was drop of 37% from Friday. Film is steady on weekdays and collected 4.90 cr nett on Tuesday. Film collected not so great 9.75 cr nett over weekend in overseas market which was below par.



Film has collected 44.20 cr nett plus in 5 days. Film has advantage of weak competition in 2nd week and film will dominate box office for next 10 days. Film should aim for 70 cr nett lifetime total.
