of course ppl here listen/read only those things which they want 2 listen/read.
@ jagya i don't know why wenever sum1 criticises the great madam anandi or shiv ppl drag jagya & ganga in2 it.
in jagya's case even he was wrong & his trust was also misplaced but he'd many more reasons 2 trust SL & he gave so many proofs of his gudness while wat pramila did she only bought sum clothes made by A's NGO.
and moreover J atleast never said 2 ganga u r not trusting me unlike A who said 2 shiv u r not trusting me. jagya said 2 ganga i know u won't talk against sum1 un-neccesarily.
and yes wenever such situn happens wid jagya or ganga then its the rant & chant of inherent nature or wrong intentions etc etc. which is/was never shown by CVs in the show. but wid anandi she s human also & her intentions r alway rite or her inherent nature is selfless etc.etc.
and here its not abt inherent nature or intention but A's ego working that i can't b wrong in judging ppl & its eitehr MY WAY or the HIghway!!🤢🤢

I agree with aparna,

If the police raids a place without proper evidence collection, it can become a serious human rights issue. People may not like the fact that i tend to quote from real life examples, but there is nothing like an actual incident to highlight the complexities involved.
When the Aam Admi Party was in government in Delhi, the law minister took along the police to raid a suspected drug cum brothel house. The police rounded up half a dozen African women residents of the house -- they were headed home in a taxi -- and forcibly took them for medical examination.
The raid exploded into a major controversy with rights activists up in arms over the manner in which it was conducted. The government used the plea that they had numerous complaints from residents of the area but the right activists argued that women cannot be mistreated on a mere suspicion.

There were clearly two sides to the issue: the govt's case was that they were acting on strong complaints. The activists made it into a human tights issue saying the women had been victimised by the police.

A case like this in reality would have caused activists to ask if the police had done due diligence. Anandi could have been acting ad a rights activist.

Also we have come a long way in our understanding of sex work. Sex workers are now treated as victims and the earlier practice of arresting them to a blaze of media publicity is no longer viewed as the valid way to treat the issue. A difference is made between pimps and brothel owners and sex workers who ply their trade out of compulsion

I was referring the same.

Polices has to verify the facts and should have evidence before going for a raid otherwise it can backfire and put it into line of fire by women organisations. Here Anandi represents them.
Anandi as a human right activist ,was not completely wrong in saying that a raid based only on words of few people could have destroyed the reputation of girls and their academy.

@Red, Completely agree on that. Even few of girls of Pramila's academy might have trapped by her by making false promises.

Since the question whether Anandi is stupid and duffer wife
Well Anandi is coming across more of a stubborn person who is firm in her belief rather than stupid person.

She believes that Pramila is doing good work based on what she saw with her eyes and heard with her ears.

She has no reason to believe that lady is involved in unlawful activities just on the basis of the complaints of the neighbours or just because her husband believes so.It is a diifferent issue that she knows that her husband doesn't do any wrong thing but that doesn't mean she has to take his word just like he is not expected to take her word.

As a social rights activist she has every right to question the raid and it is also her duty to check police excesses.

The only thing that she didn't do was to investigate why the police were troubling this lady. Had she done that she herself would have stumbled on the truth.

One of the girls may have been arrested and Pramila did get her out on bail but it could very well be that unknown to Pramila that girl was indulging in thses activities and Pramila got to know through the arrest of the girl.Pramila could have gotten the girl out because she felt responsible for her.
So Pramila getting the girl out on bail is also not a strong enough evidence against Pramila.

Anandi is not stupid or duffer wife. She told Shiv he may be right in his belief. It is upto Shiv to make her believe him if he wants her to believe him.

Shiv doesn't need to make his wife believe in what he is saying either. He just needs to gather enough evidence and proceed in a methodical and throw the lady behind bars which happens to be his duty as a collector. His wife will come around once she realises there is enough evidence against this lady.

An instinctively humane DC like Shiv should have handled the case far more sensitively than he has been shown to. For the simple reason that while Premila is the lynchpin and therefore clearly guilty of committing a serious crime, the same cannot be said of the girls who may have been under all kinds of threats.

Shiv could have sent a decoy and caught premila redhanded. At the same time he should have ensured the girls were protected and not subject to media scrutiny and ridicule.

I thought the track was to highlight human trafficking. It has instead highlighted husband and wife divergence of perception.

exactly...yesterday we seen Shiv figure it out Anandi won't agree till he get full proof
Precap Shiv make it clear to her...what people Present themselves that does not mean they are actually like that

Shiv understood Anandi has seen so much Good things about Promila that circumstantial evidence won't change her opinion. Shiv knew very well his wife is stubborn becoz she believes what she saw.

Anandi is emotional fool Stubborn Ziddi adamant because Prolima did not give any chance doubting her intentions.

Like yesterday Anandi did Q sternly about bailing out Purbia who arrested for prostitution. Anandi even said she go against her own husband to support Promila. Becoz she felt Promila is doing right thing people are misunderstood her intentions. Promila trapped accepting half truth. Anandi feels Promila has no hands in Prabia's misdeed.

Isn't this happen when people doing something Soc had tendency to criticize. Anandi feeling exactly about Promila thanks to Dancer's stories being Alone women in harsh world.

@rohini...
The African ladies case clearly became a human rights issue because the police did not have a warrant, the women were molested by the police and forced to give urine samples. In addition, the police used bad language and asked the African ladies to stop cooking cockroaches, stinky meat and to go back to Africa. This was a clear case of racial profiling.

In pramila s raid, the police only searched the premises. They did not molest the girls, nor use slurs. The district collector has the power to issue a warrant and he did so in good faith of investigating the complaint ...not because he had a vendetta against a particular social group. I do believe this was a legitimate raid.
