Now this is one of the best fictions on the forum. Absolutely adorable. I m loving the pace. Please continue the way you want to. Readers will love everything. The characters have so much layer. Zoya is not what she pretends. I dont know why but m not getting good feeling for her. Even asad is not what he pretends, but on a positive side. Feel sad for him. I love your way of description.so realistic.

Coming to the part, it was brilliant as usual. Jealous asad is a
ways a treat. 😊

LOVE OR LIE : PART 2

Asad' heart missed a beat when his eyes fell on the mark on the crook of her neck. It was his mark, he knew. He shut his eyes as the whole incidence replayed. His gaze, slowly crawling from the spot , to her eyes.

Her eyes, They glowed with the depth of universal love, casting off stardust as a diamond casts fire and they smoulder like embers of a fire in a desert night: glancing upwards as they reflected the heavens above.

Zoya felt the jitters curl into her stomach . Her hands made fists to feel her palms had moistened. Blood rushed in her ears and eyes, as they reached the epitome of embarrassment. She felt her eyes slowly slide away from his.

"I..I have to go"

she said, trying to push him. Asad pulled her back, forcing her to look back at him. He rubbed the mark with his thumb, ever so lightly. "This, gives me the right zoya." He whispered. His eyes not reflecting the rage anymore, rather a strange warmth clouded them. Zoya was in awe of those hazel green orbs. They spoke volume; only if she could comprehend. They held so much pain, that it scared her to hurt him even more. Didnt she know that this beautiful damage was mutual? She held his cheek as softly as she could, trying to fathom his unspoken words.

". Your eyes. Have you ever noticed them?" She said.

"What about them?"

"The color," She breathed.

"When you stand in the light. They're amazing... like intense green forest. I could paint those...They are beautiful"

The fullness of her voice coated his skin like a warm, heavy blanket. The lightness of each note, like a gift from heaven. If sound could be a light, then that's what it was. A light in the darkness. It rose and sank effortlessly, touching upon each sound like a dove.

Love is like a flower blossoming in your heart, you can feel each petal opening and even in winter you can smell the freshness of spring.Zoya was experiencing the same. A lot more rather. A sudden wave of emotions passed through her ,And when she lifted her eyes to his once again,her heart saw the deepness of emptiness they showed.

Asad was a man of different layers. A man, who had so much depth, that it was imossible to reach. But The soul, fortunately, has an interpreter - often an unconscious but still a faithful interpreter - in the eye.His eyes had always been her biggest weakness. The orbs were the pool of many unspoken secrets, she knew. She could see through; Only if he trusted her much to let her in.

Pulling all her courage, zoya stroked his cheek, trying to sooth , ease him with whatever was hurting him to this extent. "If I can see pain in your eyes then why cant you share your tears..." she whispered, again.

Asad wanted to speak, but he felt himself frozen. As he looked into her eyes he felt that old feeling that weakened his walls. He got a warm sensation all over his body when her hand touched his skin. He was experiencing unconditionally loving . He felt peaceful, a feeling that he had craved for all his life. Asad was in a Heavenly state of mind, a level of consciousness that couldn't be adequately described with words. His heart was wining the battle this time. He didnt care if zoya was too young, he didnt care about who he was or what he did, the feeling he endured was too precious to lose. Finally when all his senses went numb and his heart refused to step back, he let go off all his guards. Asad hugged her, pulling her close to him. His every single nerve throbbed as calmness slowly engulfed him. Not realizing zoya was not responding to his hug, he kept her, in no mood to leave her.

The anxiety curled into her stomach . Her hands, indecisive, stroked the air. Zoya found herself in the biggest dilemma of her life. On one hand where Her hands, on their own accord found itself a way to hug him back, her ears echoed the stranger's voice. 'Your brother has put his trust on you, dont let him down'. The words squeezed her heart, making her feel chocked. She craved to hug him back, to give him the support he was trying to get in her embrace, but the reverberations of the voice held her back. Zoya could see his walls crumbling down gradually. Was it acceptable? To heal and then destroy? Her heart screamed In agitation. Was she being inhuman to him for her brother's sake? The questions pierced her, but when she felt asad so close to her for the first time, she fought against herself and hugged him back. The heartbeats mingled as the hands made imaginary lines passionately. They felt themselves melting in each other, forgetting about the sadness they had.

Zoya once again was lost in the moment, and placed a feather kiss on his neck. "You can trust me, mr khan." She hushed, making asad's inside shudder.

Asad couldn't separate his feelings. Everything was a jumbled, confusing mixture of intense emotions;horror, fury, and self-hate vied with one another for the top spot. Perhaps relief would have been appropriate as well, but it wasn't there. It was too weighed down by recriminations and self-reproach, disgust.
His actions became mechanical as he struggled to keep what was inside him. Frustrated, he left the room leaving a heart broken zoya.

The sun had completed its tour for the day, and had now been replaced by myriad stars, which dotted the inky canopy. A low, waning gibbous moon hovered tenuously in the twilight firmament, bestowing a very dim light upon the land. It was a cool, windy night; swaying of trees and rustling of leaves could be heard but not seen, as the encompassing darkness had blotted out all but the faintest light. Briefly, a dark, wispy cloud eclipsed the crescent moon. For a few shadowy moments, it looked like there was a halo around the cloud, a dull aura of lunar luminescence.Orion's Belt could be seen to the north. It had taken its place for the night amongst a thousand other celestial constellations known and unknown, real and imagined. It, too, succumbed to the veil of cloud cover. Patiently, it waited for the nebulous cirrus clouds to pass, waited for the moment it would shine bright once more.

Zoya too hoped for a new rise of her life. A new beginning, where she was not just a carefree teenaged girl, but a girl carrying her brother's trust, his strength; a girl in love, a girl who knew she was needed by the man she loved and a girl who was deceiving the same man. Her chain of thoughts were given a break when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"Thinking about asad , eh?" Anwar smiled.

"Mmm, no, m just.."

"Love is inevitable my girl. The more you run away from it, the more it hugs u." Anwar gave her the coffee he had got.

" M not running from it kaka, its just that, I have fallen for a wrong guy."

"And how can you say that"

Zoya smiled sadly, as her inner self laughed on her dismay.

"Zoya, Love is like a dream that never ends giving you a feeling of tranquillity and harmony.its like a melody that flows through your mind like a river flowing gently down a stream." He looked at her and saw her listening to him. Smiling, he continued. "Have you seen a sea?" He asked. Zoya nodded andtook another sip from her cup.
"Love is like a raging sea of flying white horses flowing through your body.Zoya believe in your self and trust your love. Love is not to argue and shout at each other but to understand the words which are never spoken. I have seen it in his eyes girl. He just needs to admit. And no one but you need to do it. I have never seen him letting anyone this close to him as he has let you. He may npt realise it zoya, but he needs you..Love is a shoulder to cry on without questions. Be his shoulder"

"No kaka, hes a man with no heart. He can never love."

"You wouldnt have said thos e zoya, if u knew who asad ashmed khan is."

Amazing update yaar truly lovely & sweet one .

The way asad hugged her & she respond it equally.

It sounds like a sign that every thing is going to be perfect between them.

Eagerly waiting to read about asad's past & zoya's reaction towards that.

For sure once zoya knows about asad's past she would never go against him cause there must be something that defend asad's character .

Is anwar really a well wisher to asad or he has his own mission ?

I really don't know why but I doubt him.

yup! I was the one who asked u to reveal Asad's past.

now I really hope after knowing Asad's past Zoya wouldn't heal Asad just to destroy him.
