did you really think that she would forget it all
how can she man
you didnt even let her know why you never contacted her
and after kissing her you didnt get back
what was she supposed to think
except that you just kissed her in heat of moment
didnt care enough to talk to her again
and after royally screwing that up you are determined to make more mess
dude give her time
she cant forget all those years of pain and rejection just because you have decided to get her back
and why would she believe you right
you havent given her reason to listen even
ahhh they got along well back then
it is creepy to stare at her like that his friend was right
so is shyam invloved in this smuggling and poaching business
well he might be or is turning blind eye to it
lets see what else happens next
both on arnav professional and personal front

Am back ...first thing which struck me is Arnav feeling he is a failure both professionally and personally..poor soul..I wonder why didn't Aman voice what he wanted to tell Shyam to Arnav which Kushi overheard..Arnav is not showing any signs that he suspects Shyam. Might not be personally, but for the sake of their love i.e forest, Arhi might come together to solve the mystery..

I know what Arnav did is unforgivable but Kushi should listen to him atleast..hope she does in future..already waiting for next update.. ;-)

Wow Arnav fell in love with Khushi at first sight. And than he acted all immature to push her away from himself without giving her the reasons. 😡

Well I felt sorry for him when he felt "a failure professionally and personally". I can't say about professionally coz he is making an effort to work hard and get the culprit. He even vowed to it.

But what about personally, like he said just kissing her would not make all those years and his irrational and immature behavior of the way he broke up with her disappear in thin air. He need to work, work really hard to win her trust back.

It's true and he can also feel from her reactions to his proximity, his touch and the extra effort she is putting to distance herself from him, that she is still affected by him like he is. But that doesn't provide her heart the confidence that he will not heart her again the way he did if she gave them another chance.

Yup life is not a board game to sweep it up and start again, but you can win second chance if you make an effort. And I guess Arnav need to vow like he did to keep his jungle safe, to win her trust and love back and to instill this notion and act on it that he will not abandon her this time.

Arnav you don't need chance to defend your act rather a chance to win her trust. Defenses are for weak heart people and I guess ASR is not a weak heart person 😉

What I like the most is the seamless flow of words.

It doesn't seem as though there are more than one writers writing this.

👍🏼 For that!

Love reading the description of the forest.

It makes me want to visit the sanctuary!

The poachers are at work again.

One could feel Arnav's anguish and frustration at what is happening around him.

Is Shyam involved in these activities or not?

I'm not too sure.

A glimpse of the past was beautiful.

Arnav was quiet and timide.

Arnav and Khushi do share a lot of common interests.

This is why they got along so well.

The dance and the song were lovely.

And then came the break up.

Arnav is regretting his hasty decision.

Hope Khushi gives him a second chance and atleast listens to his side of the story.

Loved the chapter, :Jen.

Waiting now for Sami's !

He ws her asshique..he stalked her..and ws shy enuf to talk to her haaayee.. it feeels soo nice seeing his lover boy side :) ..and ab na jaaa cud it gt any bettr :D
Though I stnd by Khushi..Arnav hd been loving her since for ever..he doess deserve a chance..
I loved how hes goin crazzzy..abt the foresst and her :)

Surprisingly I liked the details and the intro to the thriller theme!! I mean the poaching and smuggling!! Heheh it was more happening than the sad ending for ArShi you see :P

Man Jen you play with words don't ya?

Lovely!! And He smokes? No pls nahi vendaam!! But the atmosphere was perfect :P poor Aman always at the receiving end!! And wait did I actually read Shyam called Arnav immediately?? First of its kind and definitely something to read between the lines!

The flashback aww that was cute!! So our boy would only stare and gawk!! So a friend gave him the necessary push and then no stopping of course till the unexpected "I walk out!!"

Dance was bliss hearts spoke! Didn't they?

And finally the last part boy you have a lot of winning to do!! Trust, heart and the feelings!

Now how will he set right things Professionally as well as personally!

Another beautiful chapter! I love the way all of you together are taking us readers on this wonderfully exciting journey through the woods of Jim Corbett National Park, and the hearts of Arnav and Khushi at the same time.

The pace is superb, the suspense gripping, and the love story captivating! This story has very quickly become one of my favorites!

To the wonderful group of authors collaborating on this - Thank you!

I am amazed at the way your writings blend - uniquely your own, but seamlessly merging from chapter to chapter - a treat to read!

About Chap 5:

Loved every bit of it, but especially enjoyed the vivid imagery of the words. These following lines - my most favorite - for the visual and auditory descriptions that brought the story alive in my mind - I felt I was there, hearing those sounds of the forest around, seeing those trees flashing by, and feeling that squelch of the mud under the tires!

"A rugged Mahindra Thar Jeep, painted in camouflage colors, painstakingly made it's way down a narrow, mud path that meandered through a particularly dense area of the Jim Corbett Forest. The jeep's powerful wheels squelched over the river of sodden earth, that the monsoons had transformed most of the forest paths into. "
