For the story to progress, there has to be a conflict for Raman and/or Ishita. In this case, if it's Shagun, for Adi's sake and given her recent suicide attempt, it could make way for Raman to get custody of Adi as Shagun as his guardian is unreliable/unstable recently. There are enough people who could verify that she's hell bent on making Raman and Ishita's life miserable.

If it's Adi, the predicament for Raman is larger. Again it paves the way to get Adi moving in with the Bhallas so Raman/Ishita/Ruhi could reform the spoiled brat as he creates hungama in their midst.

If it's Param, could this be the first wake-up call for Simmi? Will she still stand by her man and continue her vindictive plans to dig a hole for the Ramans? Only time wiill tell! Btw, why does Simmi never ever shown bonding/playing with her child. She's only seen carrying the child around like a favorite doll or getting involved in cover ups and playing secret spy for Param. Odd!😕
