That may be, though it's not the primary motivating factor, not for established stars who've been in the industry 20+ years, you think stars like Khan's and Kumar lack money?, they're set, but Akshay does seem to sign up to everything that comes his way, they guy needs to take a break and sort it out.

He gave Housefull a Hit film in 2010, after which 6 flops... He gave HF2 / Rowdy R hits in 2012, after which till now another 6 flops... And now there is no way he can pull off a big blockbuster as he has tried Masala Genre, Every kind of music, action... his films aren't working despite having current trend.

And why isn't his films working?, wouldn't it be better if he took it easy and chose few projects over many, at least then if they didn't work, he'd have a shorter list of flops. 😆
