Maybe the Cv's thought the audience wouldn't appreciate being caught so off guard especially when it comes to laila and let the cat out of the bag early?

I agree with this...if they had to have that whole buildup with flashbacks of Mala and all and the breakdown scene just before then the identity of the lady should have been hidden in the promo and of course no SBB spoilers!

And if it was Laila and it was revealed for the reason you said I didn't get why they had that scene drawn out where Rudra thinks it's his mom...was it to show he doesn't even recall anyone called Laila in his life now...meaning when the BSD guy said the lady says she has a relation with you he doesn't think of the possibility if it being Laila...that's the weirdest thought that occurred to me!

I think the audience would revolt. Ki itna anticipation build up karke how dare you put Laila in our faces?
