awesome update! arnav's condition was so heartrending..the way he desperately clutches her mangalsutra n toe rings from the flames, as those were the things which first made him feel close her, was just too overwhelming n sad. i just can't describe the pain i felt while reading thru that scene. according to me, that was the most effective n heartrending scene in this ff, after the MU. i cud imagine arnav sitting at a corner in the room n watching all the flames with blank painful eyes...
khushi received a severe blow when arnav said all that on phone. all her dreams shattered in a single minute. deepthi i must tell u this even if some people may not support this..i am really not in favour of the idea of khushi treading on the path of prostitution. i was guessing this may happen when u told in the last update that she will take a decision which will be against her morals. but i never wanted this to really happen. if it really happens, if she really does sleep around with men, it'll be severe butchering of her character. i know that they are hell bound on destroying each other, not caring that they are abt to ruin their own selves. but this is just not the way!!
i must make this clear. i don't hate prostitutes. but i dont like the idea of prostitution when u really have a choice. some of them come to this field out of force n pressure, some due to injustice done by the society, some due to the fact that they have no choice as the entire society have shunned them frm choosing any othr means of livelihood. but i believe if there's really the remotest choice of choosing something else(excepting the cases of coercion n pressure)even if the girl is not that educated, she should never do anything like that.. ...she can go someplace else far away, where the society no longer knows her...when a girl can take such a drastic step as selling herself, why can't she take the step of moving away frm her city, her society. there are so many menial jobs in our nation for girls n boys to learn n do which dont require them to be educated. sure they wont earn much, have to work very hard, but then could live a much respected life, nowhere near prostitution, which is the easiest way out to get out of a situation. the thing is that khushi is a character which is very inspiring, at least to me. whatever she has done or achieved in life she has done it all on her own. her never say die attitute, come what may quality and courage to face society in spite of any situation, inspires girls to draw out courage frm her. but her latest decision of avenge, has disappointed me too much. deepthi, just tell me she wont hook around with men. she is going to just roam around with the rich men in parties, just to create the impression to the society that she's sleeping around, but in reality she's won't. and arnav will think she does. isn't it?? just assure me this much that her pregnancy is a result of that night, n not as a result of sleeping around.. adi raping her was a heartbreak to me, though i know our khushi is strong enough to overcome the trauma. it took me some time to accept all that, however overwhelming it was. i really do hope u don't take the story to that level...i may sound a bit harsh. but spoke whatever was son my mind.
