After the National Awards being announced two days back, now it is the turn for the government to announce theKerala State Film Awards
. The awards will be announced tomorrow. And as per the reports,Jayaram
,Fahad Fazil
and National Award winner Bharath Suraj Venjaramoodu are the contenders in the final list for Best Actor category.
Jayaram has been nominated for his performance in the movieSwapaanamandNadan. HNe gave an outstanding performance in both these movies. InNadan, he played a theater artist and in the other movieSwapaanam, he played a chenda artist. Movie critics have applauded Jayaram for his performance in both the movies.
Kerala State Film Awards: Best Actor Nominees
Bharath Suraj Venjaramoodu has been nominated for his National Award winning moviePerariyathavar. He played a sweeper in the movie, which hardly had any dialogues. Suraj said that it was quite challenging for him to play a role with expressions. But, he managed to do it with immense sincerity that has helped him achieve the award.
Fahad Fazil is yet another contender in the final race for Best Actor at the Kerala State Film Awards. He has been nominated for his movieNorth 24 Kaatham, which is yet another National Award winning movie for Best Malayalam Film.
Jayaram was also in the list of Best Actor category for the National Award. But, he was chucked out from the final list entry. So, this is more like a second chance for Jayaram to win an award!
