An amazing job with the analysis today as well! :)

It's beautiful how you analyze the scenes through the meaning they are trying to put across rather than stating the obvious.

I loved how the Choodi scene was done so naturally and subtly today. It is easy to give loud reactions and make it all 'flowers and hearts' scene with the family in attendance. But pulling of a scene which will set in motion a chain of reaction with minimalist acting and no dialogues but getting across the point is a huge task.
Kudos to the actors and the writers!

Thank you. I was a literature student and literature students suffer from Analysis Syndrome . 😆...and i love how you read the choodhi scene Even though the family was there, SWs were there... the actual interaction was between Rudra and Paro with the shadow of Mohini looming large.

No wonder you read between the lines during your analysis!

Indian dramas need the happy family presence no matter what! Most of the time, in the other serials the family would have been used only as living props coming together for a scene in the great living hall! I was very surprised when each member of the family was given a voice and a proper role. They all add to the story, even Samrat who hardly has dialogues is a complete antithesis of Sumer despite being brought in the exact same environment by the same parents. These small technicalities stand out in RR and makes it worth every watch!

True. Legally, the haweli and the business will go to Rudra. Mohini and gang have been more like caretakers but on paper , everything belongs to Dilsher and shows Rudra as the legal heir. Apart from that, we are yet to know Mohini's actual grudge against Dilshoo and his wife. Mohini has many layers and trust me, her ugliest side is yet to reveal itself. Paro is in more trouble than she thinks.

Remember Simba's uncle in The Lion King. Mohini is someone on those lines.

OMG... Poor Paro... and Poor Rudra... I hope Rudra fights with her and finally give her big punishment like Simba did

Correct, And now, i feel, we need to get on with Samrat-Maithli and Sunehri's storyline as well. Sumer should also be given a love angle - but one has to see how all this fits in the minds of the writers- they know their story ans their show best. I am sure they have a storyline for all the characters and it will be amply explored as IPL is on now. So,Rudra and Paro can also get a breather. 😆

Thank you🤗 . Errm, what can i say exactly in response to this. ...Okay, i will try explaining for once. I think that when you invest yourself in a story, you place faith in the story teller and you are willing to go where the storyteller takes you. That automatically gives the control in his/her hand because we have given it. We have made a choice to listen to the story and we must allow that to happen instead of interfering and trying to influence the story teller. Its unfair and its called taking away the freedom from the story teller which you yourself have given.

If RR is a story that is being told to us, we must listen to it as the makers see it and not as how we will like to see it. Imagine, if you and me were telling JK Rowling , Stephen King, Vikram Seth what to write and violating their original thoughts?

What am trying to say is that a listener, a viewer always has the choice to get up and walk out if the story has stopped exciting you. But under no circumstances you have any right to tell the creator what to do with his/her creation. I have seen many other shows and the moment i stopped connecting , i left them, instead of trying to influence the storyteller.

In my opinion, a listener who tries to influence the storyteller has no respect for the craft and violates someone's creative freedom. That to me is utter blasphemy of reaction to art.

That's it. 😳

I know RR is not perfect, i know that it walks a thin rope, i know that TRPs may force it to make some drastic changes... but its an honest story and the stoyteller holds my interest. And i refuse to violate someone's creative freedom just because am squirming in my couch.

@Red. as much i do understand some frustrations but what you mention is the truth. As long as a story, like RR started, is complete in many aspects in the right portions to actually be concerned as 'art', following it and understanding that story is the deal, its their story. Dont wanna sound superior or something, but in my overall IF visits, some statements honestly makes me question ppl's understandings of a lot of things, its so black and white at times, not in a negative aura way, but feeling somehow responsible😆

@green. Thats what grabbed me, as fairytalish as it is, its even touchable in a 'real' aspect. Unlike a lot of what we watch out there RR gives you a lot of 'think again' moments, i like what it does to my thoughts a lot of times. Thats why it would be a pity. it was perfect, it is great and it will hopefully remain in that way 'fingers crossed'
I would suggest , beg, and ask creatives for improvments whenever i for sure know it would help but yes complains in repetitive mood is for sure vain.

Anyways, nice talking😊
