The attraction between them was palpable and the build up towards that kiss was exciting to say the least. It was matter of time and each time you switched, it made me think, "now it comes..there is it is...they are gonna kiss now.." And they did and it was one one that would paralyse the week-kneed.
Now, I'm going to step back and start all over again.
I want to talk about Khushi first. The way she tried to break up with Aman, hinting to him that there could be someone in her life before she went forward with Arnav speaks of the person she is. Clearly, ethics rank very high in her value system.
When one is falling in love, the emotions cloud you and it is natural for those feelings to cloud ethics. But Khushi isn't one of those. I admire her.
Arnav tries talking to her, maybe to tell her that he is married but estranged. Married but going through a divorce . Married but his wife cheated. Married in name only...The scenario could be anyone of these or one I haven't figured out yet.
He wanted to tell her but the fact is he didn't tell her before he kissed her. This to me tells me that ethics do not rank as high in Arnav's values as in Khushi's case.
I definitely do not mean that Arnav is bad. or he is a cheater. or he means to cause harm. It just means he is very human.
I say this because, a kiss changes the dimension of a relationship. Whether or not Khushi wants to be involved with a man who is married and in a complicated situation ...has been taken out of her hands.
What is with men? He couldn't blurt out the three words? I am married...but not in love or going through a divorce...nope. Then life would be simple and this love story will not take place.
So, take it away Jenny 😆
