A few things:
1. Pooja is a FANTASTIC Draupadi. They better give her whatever Indian awards are the equivalent of an Emmy for best actress in a drama series non fiction. She needs to be encouraged and applauded because she OWNED that episode!!
2. Some say DPadi was Lakshmi, others say she was Shakti; and today she looked like Durga/Kali and Duri/Dhri/Dushi were all Maheshasur and it was like she was going to kill them all with Kali ma's trishul and do thandav around their dead bodies.
P.S. in essence Lakshmi = Kali= Saraswati = Durga = Chandi=Gauri ALL form of the SAME mother goddess. So if Radha ji and Rukmini are the forms of lakshmi that are Sri hari Vishnu's consorts then Gauri/Durga/Kali/Chandi are forms of the mother goddess born to destroy evil.
3. I cannot believe the actor who was a sidekick in a show with actors with a huge fanbase had such amazing potential to be such a badass Shakuni. so so good he is!!!I wanted to slap him today when he smirked with Duri.
4. Dhri! SERIOUSLY! Of all the twisted warped logic; credit where its due, SP is showing the true side od Dhri; he was neevr an innocent bystander but always encouraging in the crimes of his uttaradhikari jiske liye satta uska janam sidh adhika tha aka Duri and he DARED present a warped version of Sita's story.
5. I want an answer to Drau's questions; Why couldn't the pandavas break their slave dharma to uphold their pati dharma? what would the world say then? hats off to the pandavas for saving their wife? there is no difference between their protocol and duri's protocol? they think they were such upholders of dharma but they sprung upon duri and dushy and shaks in the dice game and killed them regardless? Would they in that scenario be questioned by the world again for not upholding protocol???
After all as one of the consultants of this show says "Varun has a thousand eyes, Indra a hundred and I only 2"
6. Rohit WAS Yudi! I don't think anyone else can be Yudi now. Erm Saurav's expression and pran taking--erm, Arjun - Which version did this mitti eating come from? I want to know. But with whatever he was given- expressions, dialogues, taking the shield and throwing it I think Shaheer did well, Vin's angry looks- erm hmm. I think Sah did the angry and unable to believe what Duri had stopped to look well.
7. In answer to Shakuni's question, Drau should have said that she never thought Yudi would be cornered and cheated in this manner because in the original she does say that. But other than Sahadev, I do not think anyone,not even gandiv dhari Arjuna or vayuputra and least of all dharmraj thought that Duri would fall THIS low and get DPadi dragged to the sabha and try to strip her.
8. It seems CVs too show subtly that Arjun is Yagyaseni's dearest love because of how she singles him out to ask him (other than that he won her swayamvar) and how he reacts to her,
9. How I wish Drau had cursed kurukul that day but Gandhari stopped her (Oh I have issues with gandhari but they are issues that are for another discussion another day)
10. I wish Tangabali had agreed to be Karna. he would ahve matched Arpit in all aspects. As a result, Pankaj Dheer remains my fav Karan. No offense to Aham fans.
P.S. Arjun is said in many versions to be Nar; the twin incarnation of Narayan; both forms of Sri Hari Vishnu. So why he is at times begrudged whatever status SP gives him is beyond me. I personally do not think SP take away from the fact that Krishna IS the supreme personality of God. They just give Arjun his Nar status in a prominent way. then again "1000 vs 100 vs only 2".
