let me start asking people about the common misconception they believe in-our culture believes in the oppression of women,it does not..the three greatest women of our mythology were the three biggest feminist one could ever read about-Parvathi,sita and draupadi..in their own ways all three of them lived according to the rules they set for themselves..I am not talking about pseudo feminism which is indicated by the outward breakdown of the societal norms..No,it was by living for what they thought was right,it was for living for people they loved and it was for pitying the same people who couldn't live according to their wishes without berating or hating them but by understanding their limitations and loving them as they are..this was the essence of today's episode..
Paro has understood that Rudra has his set of limitations but with out fear that she could be rejected, she went ahead and laid her heart in front of him..that is what I called feminism at its peak..this is for people who have all the wrong notions of it..she is in love and that the love has given her impetus to stand in front of people ..Yesterday,I had written that it takes courage to wear one's heart on their sleeve..paro did us all proud today..the writer did us all proud by writing this piece of episode ..
I was taken back to my early days of marriage, when I was young (I was a ballika vadhu literally)..the first thing i heard from my husband was on how I wore all my expressions on the face and that he appreciated somebody like that ..I was appreciated but when i think of paro today,I was thrilled with her courage as she didn't flinch even when there was all the possibilities of rejection..this is called surrender in totality..what else would one want in a soulmate and a life partner..
I wanted to write about Rudra too..people started abusing him on how he was willing to sell paro and that he was no different than tejawant..to all of them,My answer is -god gives us a partner who strengths cover our weaknesses ..here rudra is a cynic who has known little love in life and he gets paro who is the epitome of love to fill his heart with it..it does not mean rudra is a bad person..he is beautiful too inside, his soul recognises paro's whiteness and that is why he puts up with with paro even when he feels she is spouting rubbish..paro is not world wisely rudra makes up for that ..the two perfect soulmates -paro has realised that and is waiting for her rangrasiya to acknowledge it.. she is willing to even go through tests of fire to make him realise this but nothing can shake her belief that rudra is her soulmate and she would love him come what may..
