let me start asking people about the common misconception they believe in-our culture believes in the oppression of women,it does not..the three greatest women of our mythology were the three biggest feminist one could ever read about-Parvathi,sita and draupadi..in their own ways all three of them lived according to the rules they set for themselves..I am not talking about pseudo feminism which is indicated by the outward breakdown of the societal norms..No,it was by living for what they thought was right,it was for living for people they loved and it was for pitying the same people who couldn't live according to their wishes without berating or hating them but by understanding their limitations and loving them as they are..this was the essence of today's episode..

Paro has understood that Rudra has his set of limitations but with out fear that she could be rejected, she went ahead and laid her heart in front of him..that is what I called feminism at its peak..this is for people who have all the wrong notions of it..she is in love and that the love has given her impetus to stand in front of people ..Yesterday,I had written that it takes courage to wear one's heart on their sleeve..paro did us all proud today..the writer did us all proud by writing this piece of episode ..

I was taken back to my early days of marriage, when I was young (I was a ballika vadhu literally)..the first thing i heard from my husband was on how I wore all my expressions on the face and that he appreciated somebody like that ..I was appreciated but when i think of paro today,I was thrilled with her courage as she didn't flinch even when there was all the possibilities of rejection..this is called surrender in totality..what else would one want in a soulmate and a life partner..

I wanted to write about Rudra too..people started abusing him on how he was willing to sell paro and that he was no different than tejawant..to all of them,My answer is -god gives us a partner who strengths cover our weaknesses ..here rudra is a cynic who has known little love in life and he gets paro who is the epitome of love to fill his heart with it..it does not mean rudra is a bad person..he is beautiful too inside, his soul recognises paro's whiteness and that is why he puts up with with paro even when he feels she is spouting rubbish..paro is not world wisely rudra makes up for that ..the two perfect soulmates -paro has realised that and is waiting for her rangrasiya to acknowledge it.. she is willing to even go through tests of fire to make him realise this but nothing can shake her belief that rudra is her soulmate and she would love him come what may..

Thank you Liz and you are so BEAUTIFUL! πŸ€—... I read your response with a big smile on my face. You are so right when you say that feminism is about living life on your own terms and that is what Paro did.She is a woman in love and she emphasized it openly - freedom and the right to express her feelings , and she had no qualms about public viewing her from different judge lights or how Rudra could reject her. Your husband is right and am sure he is proud of you - see, say, wear what you feel and that is complete evolution of personality.

Rudra is grey because of his temper and his ugly upbringing. That does not make him a bad person. Which bad person takes care of an accused criminal like a baby? He has protected Paro's life, her honour and they are not the signs of a demon. We all are flawed and that is OK. That does not make us evil. There is always a hope, a promise of becoming a better person. In Rudra's life, Paro has come as that promise.

You are amazing.😳😳

Exactly! Lovely post. Agree with you completely. RR brilliantly depicts Shiv-Parvati story. Parvati began fasting & austerities to please Shiva. She was so strongly resolved to make hi agree to Marry her.
Our Paro is no different. Her gratitude towards her Protector transformed in Love is so apt & beautiful. I loved the way a childhood incident restored her faith that Rudra was always in her destiny.
and now that she knows, I love her resolve of making Rudra believe in their love too. CVs have a great way to capture Rudra-Parvati. Kudos to the team. Every Episode after episode leaves me in awe.
to RR creative teamπŸ‘

Thank you. Agreed . The eternal soulmate saga of Lord Shiva and Maa Parwati is such an inspiration.

Rudra is going to test Paro a lot- to make her hate him, to make her leave him, to make her understand that he is not the man for her.But Paro is going to endure it all and make Rudra understand and confess that he loves her too.

RR team is just too good. Touchwood. GOD bless them.😳

Anyways, Paro is a stubborn girl...she wont let go of Rudra so easily...and liked the way kakusa explained to Rudra about love...that it takes just one moment to realize that you are in love...So lets see what our major saab will do tomm.

And thank you very much for your as usual awesome post MKM πŸ€—

Thank you.πŸ€—...Paro's love is as transparent as her and that is why Rudra cannot counter it. He knows that she is telling the truth but his insecure and stubborn side is not letting him accept that. Paro has blown him away and he can only use anger and ignorance against her. But Paro is persistent and sure of her love. Aur Rudra ko usski baat maanni hi hogee.

A really heartwarming post but I love your lines to the cynics more than that!

I wish I had the courage like Paro. To own that kind of belief and declare it without an iota of hesitation takes a lot of strength. I don't see Paro as naive, for me her power lies in her simple and black and white perception of life.

The scene where Rudra and Paro describes the relationship in the interrogation room, Rudra uses the words, "pagalpaan" and "deewangi" which can be roughly translated into madness and unshackled passion and Paro uses the words"shraddha", "vishwas" "prem" which means devotion, belief and undiluted love.

What I found amazing here is they used the words according to the perception of these characters of the relationship.
Rudra is overbearing but crazy about Paro and Paro on the other hand places Rudra on the pedestal which is right next to her Bholenath.

Beautiful.
