Chapter 6(i)

Kria: This is your chance to humiliate me and still fulfill your dreams but be aware as I never lose and I won't this time also. And once I win which I will you would have no choice but to listen to me. You all are free to back off from the challenge as I can understand the fear of facing me. I would not want to face me if I were you.
She spoke emphasizing on the last line.
That was it, they could no longer stand and in the heat of the moment they blurted out that she was on. To this grinned which frustrated everybody even more.
Kria: You have 2 hours to decide what kind of rules and restrictions you want on me, whether you want to perform as a group or have a one on one competition. It all depends upon you. Be ready with your answer and meet me here in 2 hours.
After listening to her they all leave
In the rehearsal hall everyone discussing what kind of competition should that be. By now they had calmed down but were not ready to lose to her and for the first time they were ready to do anything to win even if it meant to swallow their prides and do what was necessary.
Rey: Guys we did say yes so now we have to make sure that we don't lose to her.
Sharon: look how arrogant she is. She challenged us and told us we can have any rules for the competition, like she was sure of her victory. And that grin was so annoying. Let's defeat her in what she thinks she is the best at dance'. I will face her one on one and defeat her and shatter her ego. She said in a go riding her emotions
Everyone looked at each other some nodded and some were not sure about that. Soon Swayam addressed the gang.
Swayam: Guys wait a minute, don't rush things. I am not saying that we are not good dancers we are great but honestly tell guys we did see her dance just now and do you really think Sharon; no as a matter of fact any one of us can actually outperform her. Though it hurts me to admit but she has improved thousand folds and she is really at a different level. I don't want to lose to her that's why I am saying let's think everything through.
Sharon though felt offended but knew he was right and she admired his ability to keep his head cool even when nobody else could.
There was a pin drop silence and they started to think again. They thought what if they make it a hip hop battle as they remembered it to be a style she was never really fond of but soon they remembered today's performance in which she did some hip hop steps that too really difficult ones with so much ease and command which made them discarded it. When not able to come to any conclusion they decide to have a simple dance face off and they thought by performing as a group they could cover for each other's weaknesses and highlight their strengths and may be win against her. But this time they did not want to take any chances and wanted to win even if it meant to make it an unfair battle for her so it was decided that the song she had to perform on would be given by them. As for them they already had a choreography done for the song which they had previously planned to showcase to the transfer student.
They went to the auditorium and were shocked to see Kria all drenched in sweat and it appeared as if she had been dancing for the entire two hours. She looked so sexy and hot while doing whacking that the entire gang had their eyes glued on her (not in a perverted manner but more like they were shocked how she was performing looking so good). As soon as she saw the gang she stopped and came to them.
Kria: So decided on how you want it.
Everyone nodded and Swayam told her about the conditions and waited for her response. Everyone had anticipated some kind of reluctance in accepting the rule as she hardly has any time for choreographing a new song. But to their surprise she said
Kria: So aiming for the victory huh. Great is this the only additional rule you want to enforce? (Everyone thought whether she was kidding by saying that is it the only rule they wanted to enforce as this rule basically gave them the victory in their hands or so they thought. But she appeared so calm that they thought she could only be bluffing) what about the judges?
Swayam: We'll ask the students and the teachers to decide the winner
Kria: OK and which song do you want me to perform on?
Swayam: it will be a mix of Bollywood, Hollywood and some random tunes. (He smiled wickedly thinking they have already won)
Kria: Nice plan but you still won't win. So when do you plan to give me the song on which I have to perform and if possible let's keep the competition tomorrow at 9 AM as I don't want to waste much of my time.
Another shock came their way, they never imagined that she would keep the competition so early. They had thought that she would ask them to keep the competition as late as possible so
Swayam: OK the competition will be at 9 and we will give you your song by 8 today. Hope it is fine
Again wishing for her to contradict but that would never happen.
Kria: OK fine with that so tomorrow at 9 it will be decided for once and all who is better. I'll go and talk to Principal Sir to make the arrangements and don't worry I will make it sound like it is a part of my plan to start the tie up.
Saying she leaves for the Principal Sir's office. (She had already asked him to stay a bit late if it was possible)
Now after she left the gang started working upon the song. They made the song in such a way that it would be impossible to do a decent choreography on it or say thought. Though they were done by 7, they decided not to give her the song before 8 unless she asks for it. While they were sitting alone they again started discussing again about Kria.
Kria had arrived and as soon she saw them starting to discuss about her and dance she thought to quietly listen to their conversation and get a better idea of how they looked upon her.
For the first time Taani spoke since Kria came back. Till now she silently heard everything trying to grasp what she could understood which was making her go all crazy.
Taani: Guys could you please enlighten me on the hot topic of the day please.
She said trying to calm the atmosphere

CHAPTER 6(ii)

Sharon: Sorry Taani we didn't tell you about Kria as she was probably the best and worst thing that happened to us.

Hearing this everyone were surprised but most was Kria. She continued

Sharon: Don't tell me guys you don't feel that way. Taani 2 years back the college was divided into two groups- dazzlers and weaklings.

She pointed everyone and told her the members of the dazzlers and then told her about the entry of Kria who made a team stand against the dazzlers and how the division of the college soon started to disappear. She for the first time spoke her heart out about Kria. She told how she had started respecting her for her bravery, talent, innocent yet beautiful and kind heart

Sharon: But then she showed us her true self. Once the weaklings had won the footloose eliminations she thought that we were done for and her work to break us was done which was the reason she had become friends with us at the first place so she decided to ditch us in the cruelest way possible.

Then she told everything about Rey and Kria, how she used Rey and Swayam to fulfill her motive and then dump them. She then showed her the photo of the letter she had on her phone which she kept as a reminder of Kria's ill deed. So you see why she was the best thing that happened to us as it ended the divide of the college and made all of us such great friends and the worst thing for ditching all of us like that and breaking the hearts of everyone present here who had warmed up to her.

Taani: (After hearing the entire story she hugged everyone and told them) you all didn't deserve all this. But it is still weird that someone could enact for so long and fool so many at once. If she actually did all this then she had to be a very cold hearted person for playing with the hearts of so many people. I never thought anyone could be like that but I guess I was wrong.. Anyways if she actually did this then at the least something good came out of that bitch's actions right.

After the whole conversation they all so the time it was 8:15 already and still no sign of Kria. Kria had rushed to the washroom to splash water all over her face as she felt guilty for hurting all her friends. She wished she could do something to flush away the memories of her but it was not possible. Meanwhile everyone were there again recollecting the time they read the letter and cursed her once again not knowing that what she did was one of the biggest sacrifice one could give and that it had crushed her and pained her more than they could even imagine.

Around 8: 30, Kria entered the rehearsal hall

Kria: So have you all prepared the song?

Sharon: No we need another half an hour (she spoke to get some words out from her but to no good instead she replied)

Kria: (She knew that the song was done and it was a trick to get her agitated but she was not gonna fall for it) Okay but try doing it faster. So meantime I'll go warm-up.

Saying this she left to run for half an hour. Everyone looked puzzled at the carefree attitude of Kria which was getting on their nerve. Vicky and Nil decided to go and follow Kria to look what she was actually doing as they thought she might be up to some dirty trick to win tomorrows competition which was ironical as they were the one playing an unfair game and putting handicaps on her.

Vicky and Nil followed her for 25 minutes and came back to the rehearsal hall all shocked and a bit flabbergasted
Swayam: What happened? Why do you look like you saw some ghost?

Vicky: Kria is some devil.

All: What?

Nil: Yes guys. You know she is really not human. What she did can't be something a girl could do.

Rey: What do you mean?

Vicky: You know what that we followed her to see what she was doing and then we saw her do her so called warm up but it was crazy

Nil: yes you know what she did for warm up?

All: what?

Vicky: She sprinted for almost 15 minutes in the basketball court at full speed and then did some 50 push-ups or so and was going on doing pull-ups when we returned.

Nil: And the most surprising part was that it appeared that she was not at all panting or looked tired.

Neha: Oh you scared me I thought you saw her turn into a monster or something. So what if she was doing some warm up.

Vishakha: Dude what they wasn't to say is the kind of warm up she had indulged herself in.

Bharat: Yes Neha even I won't be able to pull off such a vigorous routine and she did all this as warm up.

Simmi: But had she not already danced for 3 to 4 hours today and circled the college numerous times, then how does she have strength to do such kind of drill.

Rinni: And to think about it she had arrived India today itself after such a long journey and should have been tired due to jetlag.

Everyone looked at each other with disbelief to which Taani spoke

Taani: It is good for us that she is tiring herself out so much. This way she won't have any energy to choreograph her song and perform at her best tomorrow.

Though it made sense but still the realization of what all she had been doing was still hard to digest. Their trance of thoughts was disrupted when Kria entered the room and asked for the song which they gave her straight away. Now they were waiting to see how she reacts to the song they gave her to perform on. They had expected a total confused and hyper Kria but to their surprise she was all excited to perform on the song after hearing it.

Kria: (on hearing the song) Wow it is freaking awesome. It will be a fun and challenging track to choreograph on. Thank you guys for making such a freaking awesome remix. I'll have to send this to New York to Dean Sir with my choreography to ask him to evaluate it.

She gave them a grin to which they just left without giving a second thought as they were convinced this time that this had to be a bluff to throw them off. There is no way one could choreograph this song in that too in just one night.
